Funny how people STILL call these guys sell-outs. They're literally going the opposite direction from society. That's the opposite of selling out. Selling out is changing your entertainment style to suit the needs of the general public to make more money. The general public mainly consists of pop, rap, and hip hop, and they're going back to a classic metal sound. Doesn't sound like selling out to me.
GetScaredGaming Even a few songs from their Self Titled weren't mainstream. Brompton Cocktail, Unbound, A Little Piece of Heaven. Those aren't normal sounding songs. They have things in there that most artists don't dive into.
But look back to the ninety's and early 2000's....that was rock and real music was popular. Bands like three days grace and these guys were the pop stuff. And their music will not die, rock will always live on and the shitty pop fake music today will just ruin hypnotize young people.
To people complaining about Shadows hair and weight- remember what he said about them embracing tier metal roots. They've left behind their pretty-boy (not an insult) fashion. You think a classic metal bad gives a fuck about what they look like? And neither do they. And they shouldn't have to.
Michel de Souza da Silva As both a Metallica and an Avenged Sevenfold fan, I admit there are similarities. But that's the point. There is such a thing as a tribute. Unless you're too much of a, to quote an irritating man, "fanboy" to accept that.
after the inrto you see matt thro that water bottle, and the lights went out right before it landed. where I was sitting just to the left of the camera. I seen it smack some dood on the floor in the top of the head. I was laughing soo hard lol. but the show was amazing and I will go back everytime they come to town. :)
I agree with the setlist complaints. I'm more of a fan of their "Waking the Fallen" and "City of Evil" era, but I'm getting sick of just hearing "Bat Country" "Unholy Confessions" and "Chapter Four" from those albums (as great as "Chapter Four" is). If they skip "Chapter Four," they'll throw in "Second Heartbeat" instead. If they skip "Bat Country," they'll do "Beast and the Harlot." Glad to see half of "Hail to the King" though. At least those songs are fresh!
was anybody else disappointed with the set list? I love these guys, have been listening to them for almost 10 years now, but they always play the same shit. other than the few from the new album I've heard all of that live multiple times. and how do you miss heretic, coming home, planets, or acid rain, that last 4 songs on the album are the best and they played none. these guys did a great job, they always do, but i was quite upset with the show
Not gonna lie, I lost my high end hearing for the week after this concert.. but It was Sooo worth it to finally see these guys live!
Matt, the singer of my favorite band, wearing a t-shirt from my second favorite band...dreams do come true
Ive seen them 3 times n this by far was the best. I went so hard in the pit to chapter 4
Wooooow :D The fireworks at 5:16 were amazing!!!
who cares if they've gained weight or not, they're still amazing artists and their music is still waaaay too awesome
Thank you soooo much for recording these and posting them in such high quality. It was the show of a lifetime and thanks to you I can relive it.
No.doubt thanks for posting it was an awesome show
For the guy that give this video a thumps down... This means war !!!

Exactly what I've been saying.
Same with when city of evil came out. That wasn't mainstream at all.

I was here! Best fucking show i've ever been to.
No matter what Zacky wears or style he changes into, he'll always look like McLovin to me :P
MY FAVOURITE BAND!!

I also agree with you, wish they played more diffrent songs
These guys kick ass!
best t-shirt ever for matt
yeah johhny is back with his awesome mohawk!!
God I remember when they played this. That gunshot thing at the start scared the shit out of me xD
when I saw them for the first time in 2010 the explosion in buried alive did the same thing
Much agreed on the setlist. Never really gave it much thought, but they really need to change it up some.
Not a problem guys! :)
A7X is one of many few bands that can sound like their studio work which is Awesome
all you need to say is 3 simple words: SAD BUT TRUE !!! ooops, I mean, "This means war"
Only because they use the style of metallica it doesn't mean that they copied Hefield's band. (i'm talking as a metallica's fan)
you obviously care a lot. Otherwise, you wouldn't reply....grow up, fanboy

lol
This isn't a "rip-off".. It's an homage to the sound.. There is gigantic difference..
this means warRR!RAWRRR!!!
Yeah that scream at 4:12 was beast. His improv into the song is always awesome.

Synister gates is awesome
Fuckin amazing
Just saw them in Omaha, fucking epic show!
They play Bat Country, Unholy Confessions and Chapter Four quite a lot ^^ Beast and the Harlot to I think :P

Same here.
Thumbs up!!!!!!!! :-)))))))
good song from a7x team
His hair.... like what the fuck happened....
ehh lackluster crowd, the baltimore show was better ;) thanks for uploading the whole setlist though sadly nobody did it at the show i was at :(
It's a great song but I think that it's like metallica's Sad But True but both are great songs
Like like like
...it looks bad on Syn. Why'd you have to try it too.
lol 6:01 he mixed up the words. should be "another thought I can't control" not "a cowards truth inside the wrong" - that was the one before it.
Haha he always forgets the right lyrics❤️
Because he's M. Shadows. He can get away with pulling this off
Shadows why do you do this to your hair...Whyyyy
Amazing song!! I did a drum cover of this song if you're interested! :)
Avenged Sevenfold "This Means War" Drum Cover (multi angle) by NICO

BTNHwishbone In Ohio, we don't know how to get excited.
Damn' i love them but this haircut... Thumb up for the ancient hairstyle.
It sounds wierd
I dont think arons a metal drummer the rev was 1000 times better
+Aaron Dobbin they have a new drummer now
This is such a "sad but true" rip-off. Still very good though.
