Throttle body size comparison R18 vs Si

I’ll be porting my intake manifold with a K20 throttle body, and eventually upgrade to a J35. Just wanted to make a video comparing size difference for those thinking about doing this as well.
Will make a separate video of the installation.

What about the sensor in the r18 tb, where does it go installed on the si tb?

Did it work? Were you able to install the Z3 throttle body on your R18? I'm thinking about doing this to my R18 to gain some small power. Im excited to see the next video!

Throttle body J35 + OEM intake manifold I've tried on my R18. Gain power and no problems.

So the j35 throttle body can fit the r18 with the stock manifold?

Yes but you need the Kite They sell whit the converter plate its really easy and Bolt right Up and Get that réaction trottle and more go haha

So after you did this you use SI CAI or Short RAM intake?

NativeBallin I’m boosted now but you can run whatever pipe 2.5/3” just need the right coupler and Hondata for a tune

Oh yeah they have same bolt pattern? I just need to port out my intake manifold.

@@FD-rh6tr Haven try it wet but can Tell it Will be more respond and feel just better but you need to recalibrate the idle afther i know that and hé does say IT .. 😅🤦🏻‍♂️ easy whit a scan tools even whit out Theys some vidéo out There on the TPS ( Trottle position sensor )
