    I actually put one of these on a 3.0 Ford Ranger, I was shocked to see it did make a huge difference in low end torque. Gas mileage also improved by a couple miles per gallon.

    Does this require me to do any type of changes with the computer or head unit because of gas and oxygen mixture changing?

    i got one from torque solutions . same type of one for 2015 1.8L with the cvt. the low and mid range gain is incredible!

    My Red Dawn is down for a few days it rolled off hitting a wooden post at my house but nothing big other than the bumper the A/C condenser the radiator the hood were damaged,but thanks God the the frame was intact and the engine and it's external and internal were not damaged.I took off the whole front and started the car with no problems or any noise from the engine.The engine block is intact the A/C compressor the starter and alternator all in excellent condition.Next week if God's willing it should be running again,taking advantage adding few mods too.

      They were at first, but you figure it out as you go. You should buy one, they're only like $60. Make sure you buy the p2r spacer as well. Thanks for your support!

      +Gerb Productions awesome I will look into that. I pretty much watched all ur 2007 Si videos. I've gone through pretty much that exact same thing with my 07' Si. I'm actually in the process of replacing my clutch kit with the excedy stage 1 kit as well!!

    • @TheGerbsteve

    What made you want to do this mod?... I waiting for mines to come in. I ordered a intake manifold and throttle body thermal gasket in hopes to reduce air intake temperature.

    Hey man. I think your suppose to have 2 white gaskets, one on each side of the spacer.. Maybe I am wrong though. I actually might be getting the p2r spacer because I might go back to all motor for a bit lol!

    • @werksguy
      @werksguy 8 лет назад

      kraftwerks kit is my current setup :) but I getting a bit sick tired of swapping clutches and the poopy gas mileage lol! how ever boost life is pretty awesome though, I do daily my car atm.

    • @TheGerbsteve
      @TheGerbsteve  8 лет назад

      Werks Guy That's pretty dope! You must be at like 300+ hp? Don't you need a stage 4 or something for that much power haha? One day i will experience the boost life bro ;)

    • @werksguy
      @werksguy 8 лет назад

      349hp n 224 torque dyno tuned on shell 91 octane, Ya they say stage4, I had a stage2 competition clutch for 10thou km's but that blew and they went to a exedy stage1 with a 11.5lb flywheel but that is on its way out, it was awesome for every day driving being boosted and traffic was not soo tuff on your leg lol!..The clutchmasters fx350 or400 or the competition clutch stage4 a lot of people run and like , You should join the supercharged honda facebook page if you have not already... Boost life is good for sure but be ready for stuff to break lol! which kit are you looking at?

    • @TheGerbsteve
      @TheGerbsteve  8 лет назад

      Holy hell, thats a shit ton of power lol. What have you raced? Send me the link for it. As of right now, i want to do some bolt ons & a tune. I'll go boost eventually. Would consider a precision turbo kit or kraftwerks kit

    what's up bro.Did you ported your throttle body? I did mines and noticed an instant 4 to 5 horses also an increase torque and fuel economy.I know that you know about it.I did my body throttle porting my self with a dremel tool then sanded down with a 320 wet sand paper then l use brillo to wash up then buffed out with mother's product and it got mirror look super great.

    • @TheGerbsteve
      @TheGerbsteve  6 лет назад

      I haven't yet man.... I want to. Is it really that much? You can tell the difference in mpg?? I'm interested lol. I want to do my intake mani & throttle body. Maybe ill do it this weekend ;)

    • @wilfreddiazvellon7896
      @wilfreddiazvellon7896 6 лет назад

      Gerb Productions it’s easy just take your body throttle off.At each end of body throttle at the inside with a dremmel tool you will sand off the inside once you finish in each side inside you wash it off.Then use a a Brillo pad with water rub each inside then wash off after use a 320 sand paper wet,and begging sanding each inside till smooth after that wash it off and dry.Then use this product called mother’s begging by putting in a clean dry cloth and start rubbing inside of the body throttle like waxing once you finish rub off with a clean cloth and it will look as a mirror finish.Let me know bro have super great day with midnight,from your friend The Red Dawn.

      +fireman62truck Thanks bro. I think it should, but I'm not 100% positive. Type in 2007 crv throttle body spacer on google and stuff should come up.

    Does the spacer come with the 2 lugs?

  • @rehcvlee6577
    @rehcvlee6577 7 лет назад +2

    Hey gerb! Was there any leak by the tb and the tb spacer bc you didn't have any gasket in between? I only have 1 thermal gasket and I didn't shaved/take off the paper gasket.
    So it's thermal gasket -> tb spacer -> stock gasket -> tb itself.

    • @TheGerbsteve
      @TheGerbsteve  7 лет назад

      +Rehc V, Lee No leaks buddy. I wish I bought another gasket to be on the safe side though

  • @rsantiago4534
    @rsantiago4534 6 лет назад

    WHAT IS THE NEED TO PUT THE SPACER?

    • @TheGerbsteve
      @TheGerbsteve  6 лет назад +3

      Slightly increased airflow, a few ponies, & the thermal gaskets on each side dissipate heat

  • @ANTHONYNI33
    @ANTHONYNI33 8 лет назад

    did you have to buy that thermal gasket separate?

    • @TheGerbsteve
      @TheGerbsteve  8 лет назад

      +ANTHONYNI33 yes, the gaskets are like $15-20 a piece. There should be two, but I'm running one currently

    • @ANTHONYNI33
      @ANTHONYNI33 8 лет назад

      Gerb Productions that sucks that they dont come with gaskets. are both side gaskets the same? and why is it necessary to have 2 gaskets are there any leakes or something.

    • @TheGerbsteve
      @TheGerbsteve  8 лет назад

      +ANTHONYNI33 They say you should have two for the best fitment, pretty much prevent leaks. I'm using one, no issues

  • @corymanka
    @corymanka 8 лет назад

    So what's it do?

    • @TheGerbsteve
      @TheGerbsteve  8 лет назад

      +Cory Manka Allows more air into your intake manifold... Its worth the money, I can feel the difference in throttle response.

      Throttle response, allows more air (tuned) and like 1-2hp.

    • @aiden20yearsago51
