Great video series! I am learning a lot from these wonderful tutorials. May I ask one quick question (writing for a sax-quartet right now): is it possible to make a (small) glissando (rather a bending) from the highest possible note of (any) saxophone? And if so how big the gliss. could be? Greetings, Amir Teymuri
There are always special fingerings to be found, but depending on the players, yes it is possible to to a small gliss. It is easier to gliss in the higher register, so how far is up to you and the players - it's best to test it out with them.
This and the other "composer resources" are really great videos, thank you Joshua !
Thank you so much☺
really helpful! I would just suggest more gain when you are talking. Thank you!
