This is the new Ferrari 812 Superfast, and everything you want to know about it! From a full in-depth walkaround to hot laps at Fiorano and driving on the countryside roads. It's the best super-GT money can buy, take a watch to see all about it.
15DudeAwesome IK. No Lambo like the Aventador will match this thing. Only the Huracan Performante, and the other limited, concept cars of Lamborghini can compete against this.
Victor Nag how? Performance set the nurburgring lap record. Performance mid engined. Performante has active aero never seen before. If you watch reviews by supercars of London ,Chris Harris, drive tribe, JWW, all of them claim the performante to be one of the best drivers cars of the current era But I agree the 812 is still a monster, i would just rather take the performante anyday
Another awesome masterpiece from Ferrari. When a new Ferrari comes out I always wonder: "Can it get better than this?" and then Ferrari answers: "Yes, it can." Oh and btw, the top speed is actually 211+ mph. Ferrari stopped trying to say the maximum top speed of their cars a long time ago, because the top speed of the car depends on so many variables (road condition, tyres, weight of the driver/passenger etc.)
Man I'm so glad that you finally made it to 1M subscribers, it's been an amazing trip, you absolutely deserve it, you earned it, huge congratulations for that. 🎊🎉🍾 🏎 still think that 41 mins it's too much, lol, I'll try to watch it all.
betaich i find the traditional Ferrari colors are getting old too. i mean dont get me wrong they are beautiful bright colors and all that but the vast majority of Ferraris are red, it stands out but i dont believe red is right for all their cars
i didn't see that one in the video, i do like a blue car, maybe not as much as you though lol. i think all ferarris look good in red, you can't go wrong.
freddy hayes Everything I've heard says that all Ferrari V12s will stay NA. How small their displacement will get I do not know. However in lieu of turbos they'll be hybrid assisted.
i started subscribing your channel 2 weeks ago, and I love all the videos you made. Thank you for your hard work and keep it up! congrats on 1 million subscribers.
I like how you showed every detail of the car, it's almost like i could experience it too. The part when u got it out for a ride was a bit long though, 27:00 to 30:40 could be cut for example. Could cut 1 min from the track driving too. Gr8 video keep it coming!
Loved your video. I had the pleasure of driving the 488 GTS Spider and California T couple of weeks ago and it was phenomenal. Watching you go around with that 812 takes me back to Maranello and to the excitement and satisfaction of driving a Ferarri.
My dear Shmee, u r the best. i have a smile on my face from the very beginning of this video!! ur so fluent in all the details u provide!! i guess a testament of ur passion for the ferrari and all other elite brands!! thank you!!
Congrats on the million subs Tim!!😬 been there since 200k and watching how your videos have progressed has been great, thanks for all you've done! Props to the new filming styles and musical segments (your music producer deserves a pat on the back as well)
Congratulations on 1 million subscribers shmee you've come such a long way and this is one of the best videos I've seen you do, I really hope you get one of those 812 superfasts someday. Your cinematography is very excellent as well!!!
congratulations on your 1M followers, I don't always agree with you but I recognize you are one of the most passionate car enthusiast on youtube and I know reaching the 1m mark was hard and it needed time, work, consistency and the most important: love for this way to go Tim !
I saved this video and have watched it a few times. I absolutely love this car. Big TDF fan but this is right there. Really wish you’d buy one of these Tim and then go out with randy on a 812 super fast rally. Epic car and an absolute dream. Buy one Tim please
Congratulations Tim for 1 Million subscribers.... you have earned them and you definietly deserve it....we all subscribers wish you for great future ahead..many many more subscribers .... Best of luck Tim☺😊😊😊☺
Looks amazing! It's nice at the moment, as the F12 still looks quite modern. They have different styles. A very big congratulations on 1 000 000 subscribers!!!
Shmee150, your reviews are like cappuccino to an espresso of others, like Drivetribe - you can just enjoy them that bit longer :) Keep up the great work!
Absolutely. That was, however, not my point. They were all implying Ferrari built the car with that defect. I was stating it might just be due to the way it was treated during the tests.
Shmee, I have been watching your videos since the moment you reviewed a Mansory Aventador. I believe you had 20k subs during that time? I was obsessed with Aventador and then I stumbled to your channel. I felt I have known you for a long time and so many others too. I am a viewer from Singapore.
And congratulations with 1 million subs. I want to be a youtuber someday. But I'm not going to be reviewing cars because you already got that covered. :p Plz remember my name!
pfffff "reviewed an Aventador" - I´ve been watching the videos since shmee used to skulk around Knightsbridge in London, taking photos of other peoples supercars with a toy camera.
I've been watching that test driver for the last couple of years and I never look at where he is going. I'm always watching his hands. Notice how slowly he is putting his inputs into the car. He's not fighting it, he never jerks the wheel he just guides the wheel and the car follows his directions. I'm starting to believe driving fast is really driving slow on in the driver's seat. Either I learned that from Ricky Bobby or Cars 3 this weekend. Don't quote me (smile).
this car looks like they took a c7 and put the rear clip of a new ARC Viper.... but made it into a epic car with quality parts and super premium interior...
Congratulations on the big 1M! Did you get a new camera to celebrate? I feel like its a super fast frame rate! Don't get me wrong I love it. That or I've received a serious bump on the head and everything's ultra fast for me now.
I like that Ferrary seems to be going into the front engine direction more and more. Those super minimalistic "driving only, nothing else" kinds of carbon fibre skelleton mid engine super sport cars are point- and useless. You can't really do anything with those things anyways, other than look at them. Sport cars that can actually function in every day use, when you can do errants in them, go shopping etc. and still get all the speed and sexappeal of a super sport car out of them when you want to, that is when it gets interesting. Having the engine at the front means you can actually give the car a real trunk and make it useful and usable. Fuck driving in circles in laboratory conditions on some silly race track! That is so forced and artificial. You could just aswell play a computer game at that point. Driving fast when on your way to the store or putting some overly agressive asshole in a suped up rice bucket in his place on your way home from the movie theater, that is fun. But for that you need a functional, a real, a fully developed car, with some storage space, not just some carbon fibre frame with a giant engine strapped to it. Those things aren't real cars. Even if you have less disdain for race tracks than me, you can't deny the fact that the more you can actually use your sports car in every day life, the bigger the chance and the more opportunity that you can have fun in it. Ferrari, which I always found to be the most "meh" and least interesting of the big super sport car manufacturers in the past, seems to have understood that and seems to have adjusted their designes to that realization. That scored them some serious points in my book.
TrangleC: Actually you just write, that you like Gran Turismos more than pure hardcore sports cars. But I don't understand which current development of Ferrari you mean. They switched from mid engine to front engine already in 1996 with the 550, and all the successors (575, 599, F12, and now the 812) kept that. But I think also the Testarossa (so the MidEngine predecessor of the 550) was a bit more about comfort and daily usability than e.g. the Lamborghini Countach back then. The four seaters (GTC4Lusso now, but also the predecessors FF, 612, 456, 412, 400,...) of course were always comfort Gran Turismos. On the other hand the "entry level" Ferrari (488 now, but also all the predeccessors) always had an V8 mid-engine, and probably will also keep that in the future. And they are more or less the "sportiest" Ferraris. And finally there are the limited hypercars (LaFerrari, Enzo, F50, F40) that a pure carbon fibre driving machines. So I don't understand what you mean with" Ferrary seems to be going into the front engine direction more and more. "
Have seen some youtube reviews done by well known profissional car magazzines regarding this car. Yours is by far the best. :) You nail doing car reviews at every level ( and ive seen alot over the years). Congrats sir :)
Totally agree with you! I guess they had to butcher it since the F12 was a Pininfarina design and the 812 is a Ferrari in-house design. Ferrari wants to avoid lawsuits. The F12 was literally perfect in proportions along with that beautiful fender air bridge. The 812 is a mess design wise with creases and bends everywhere for no reason.
Cheers indeed Tim, your excitement here is very palpable. Yes folks we are looking at the very finest car in the world, what an achievement, art and science in functional harmony delivering maximum thrills. Just adore the yellow pearlescent paint.
The original version had the audio going out of sync about half way through which rendered the whole thing unwatchable. It was much more important to put that right and make a video that works for you guys to see.
Congratulations on 1 million subscribers Tim. Thanks for bringing us suck in depth, informative and truest interesting content. U deserve and you've earned it.
So let me get this straight... Ferrari shames people for putting wide body kits, or other design kits on their cars, even custom wraps, because they want their car to be taken seriously and not childish and expect every Ferrari owner to be mature enough to respect that... But they go out and name their newest model "SuperFast"?
Manggala Arifano 100rpm might not seem like much but if they did allow it to hit 9000rpm instead of 8900 maybe the powertrain would encounter issues. it isnt easy to have a high revving engine and have it do so reliably. plus 8900 is good enough.
The problem with these videos is that if you say anything negative, he won't get invited in the future for other cars. #bias all these RUclipsr reviews are saying this car is amazing. Not a single critical reference.
I m agree with that. I ve wrote the same on other video by Shmee in the past... It's always "the best car I ve ever drive" and any critics even positive. That's finally boring watching the same things, Tim produces excellent videos but finally they look like promotional event for brands! And what about his friends, they do exactly the same...
In comparison the ride quality seems to be a bit harsher than in the F12, but before he said the ride is exceptionally comfortable specially than putting the car in the bumpy road mode for being such an sports cars. Take in account that the F12 suspension setup was either on the soft side for being a Ferrari. The steering seems to be a little to bit direct to him, but hey a more race focused person will say i want it even more direct. +++ A very direct steering is a main characteristics of the last Ferrari and now also new Alfa Romeo cars (the Giorgio platform was developed mainly by Ferrari engineers). People at first drive most of the time think the steering it's a little to direct, after some day driving the car usually they want drive nothing others.
Please answer in the FFT how the 812 could be a possible FF replacement or if the space and layout of the 812 is just too different compared to your FF or a GTC4
That sound is so addictive. Could listen to whole day long. There seems to be a bit of a Corvette cut to the design. Nice review by the way. Keep em coming....
Apparently they wanted to use Superveloce but Lamborghini had a trademark on that name or something. But I would've picked a different name even in that case haha
Some Guys On XBL no, the Superfast name has been used by Ferrari in the past. i think they had a car in the late 60's or early to mid 70's that had the Superfast name. it was a front engined grand tourer like the 812
i think ferrari was thinking... we aren't the only ones with good design anymore, everyone from audi to toyota is coming out with sexy supercars, it's time to make sure we're not winning the style race while not actually getting the track times we need.
This is the new Ferrari 812 Superfast, and everything you want to know about it! From a full in-depth walkaround to hot laps at Fiorano and driving on the countryside roads. It's the best super-GT money can buy, take a watch to see all about it.
My apologies for the reupload following a major editing issue but here it is, the Ferrari 812superfast!
I was LITERALLY just thinking "I wonder when Shmee will upload a video of the 812" and then I see this xD Thanks for reading my mind.
Shmee150 Love these in-depth videos so much. Thanks for them
Thank you for watching them
Congrats on the 1MIL Subscribers!!
Beautiful machine. Personally I like Ferrari more than Lamborghini. They have revolutionary designs and rich racing history.
Lamborgini has been getting better and better recently. the new Performante is a good example
15DudeAwesome IK. No Lambo like the Aventador will match this thing. Only the Huracan Performante, and the other limited, concept cars of Lamborghini can compete against this.
Homie SpyCrab what concept cars are you talking about? They’re all production vehicles.
Victor Nag how? Performance set the nurburgring lap record. Performance mid engined. Performante has active aero never seen before. If you watch reviews by supercars of London ,Chris Harris, drive tribe, JWW, all of them claim the performante to be one of the best drivers cars of the current era

This car looks unbelievable! Ferrari is just the best.
Luca Vito Great car! Tremendous speed! Huge braking power!
dit is mijn naam Old enough to know you're one of those knowledge less Lamborghini fanboys.
dit is mijn naam right, that's for both of them, obviously the second guy can't read

That is until it inevitably breaks.
Man I'm so glad that you finally made it to 1M subscribers, it's been an amazing trip, you absolutely deserve it, you earned it, huge congratulations for that. 🎊🎉🍾 🏎 still think that 41 mins it's too much, lol, I'll try to watch it all.
surely one of the last ever to be made naturally aspirated v12 gts. looks a hell of a lot better in red imo but what a machine!!
I'm not sure, I saw a dark blue one and that looked amazing
Shmee150 of course you would like the blue one.
betaich i find the traditional Ferrari colors are getting old too. i mean dont get me wrong they are beautiful bright colors and all that but the vast majority of Ferraris are red, it stands out but i dont believe red is right for all their cars
i didn't see that one in the video, i do like a blue car, maybe not as much as you though lol.

He was there the same day as me
not only did you make an awesome video , you also give me this info ?! you sir just made my day !
I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that Chris is the one we saw drifting around the track at the beginning of the video.
I like how you showed every detail of the car, it's almost like i could experience it too. The part when u got it out for a ride was a bit long though, 27:00 to 30:40 could be cut for example. Could cut 1 min from the track driving too. Gr8 video keep it coming!

No
Looks amazing! It's nice at the moment, as the F12 still looks quite modern. They have different styles.
A very big congratulations on 1 000 000 subscribers!!!
Great review, as always. I would trade in the Vanquish for one of these. It's clear that the 812 Superfast is a wonderful car.
Dennis Berkhout This is way more £ than a Vanquish S let alone a Vanquish.
Great video! Been watching your vids from the S5 cab days. Loved those vids so much I went and bought one. Even with the 20inch bumpy ride rims!
Shmee150, your reviews are like cappuccino to an espresso of others, like Drivetribe - you can just enjoy them that bit longer :) Keep up the great work!
Gongratz on 1mil subs Shmee! been here since 100k. what a beautiful video to hit the 1 mil mark with :)
3:41 Nice panel gap between the hood and the bumper.
The Technician also between the exhaust and exhaust trim very nice
The Technician also between the exhaust and exhaust trim very nice
MegaFregel I noticed that too! Unacceptable in a car of this price.
It's a press-test car. Who knows what it has been put through.
Especially that bonnet.
Absolutely. That was, however, not my point.
They were all implying Ferrari built the car with that defect. I was stating it might just be due to the way it was treated during the tests.
Congrats on 1 million subscribers from 🇴🇲 oman ,, all the best shmee u deserve more for ur hard work on youtube 🙏🏻

Shmee like a kid in a candy shop 🍭🍭
Have seen some youtube reviews done by well known profissional car magazzines regarding this car. Yours is by far the best. :) You nail doing car reviews at every level ( and ive seen alot over the years). Congrats sir :)
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the support
cant believe ferrari would butcher the F12 this much
TIMAAYx +100500%!!!!!!

Alcon + Why don't you write to them, and tell them where they have gone wrong, and how they can rectify it.
congrats for 1mil, awesome job! well deserved.
At first I thought this car was ugly asf but after watching a lot of videos its kinda growing on me, F12 still looks better tho
Your reviews and Doug DeMuros are the only car reviews I watch, great quality
Shmeeeee Shemmeeee you wacky dude...!! Thanks for the 812 Tour...!! Do us some Donuts

With this voice, an unbelievable fact. :-)
Congrats on 1 million subscribers and the 812 Superfast is just insane!
As a aeronautical engineer, this explanation of aerodynamic features really hurt my feelings...
SomeTenth i thought i was the only one that noticed how poor he explains all the aerodynamic features
SomeTenth so why you don't create your own channel and start doing some car reviews?
El planeta esta lleno de imbeciles. I see you on every comment being petty af
El planeta esta lleno de imbeciles. Some people have a job and life.
As a plumber, I have to agree.
Thanks Tim for the vid. Excellent walkthrough , the car is a beast , looks good and sounds awsome like a proper V12 Ferrari should!
Holy lord! Someone buy Ferrari a grass strimmer!
Cheers indeed Tim, your excitement here is very palpable. Yes folks we are looking at the very finest car in the world, what an achievement, art and science in functional harmony delivering maximum thrills. Just adore the yellow pearlescent paint.
Thanks for the support!
I feel like I've seen this video before :D
Not this edit, you haven't
Aha, sothat's why it was deleted at first?
The original version had the audio going out of sync about half way through which rendered the whole thing unwatchable. It was much more important to put that right and make a video that works for you guys to see.
Shmee150 Say that too Lenarr Young, his comments don't understand.
Nice editing! Congratulations with your 1 million subscribers!!!
This was a wonderful review. Thank you! :)
Congratulations on 1 million subscribers Tim. Thanks for bringing us suck in depth, informative and truest interesting content. U deserve and you've earned it.
The F12 Berlinetta was so much better looking :/
Definitely. Front end on this looks terrible.
Imo this looks wayy better
Cracking review, well done Tim, most detailed review online, and also fun and entertaining.
This car is insane better than the f12
It's basically an upgraded F12 lol.
but 458 have a better sound than a 488. i think.
Big Congratulations on 1 Million Subscribers!
Looks like 3 cars: Jaguar F-Type, Corvette, Dodge Viper
vanqz looks like you don't know nothing about cars
read the rest of the comments, looks like I do
El planeta esta lleno de imbeciles. fanboi
For me its looking like the Ferrari. I dont see other cars
Perhaps consider removing the blinders ...
Very nice video and congratulations on 1 million subscribers man!! You deserve it .
So let me get this straight... Ferrari shames people for putting wide body kits, or other design kits on their cars, even custom wraps, because they want their car to be taken seriously and not childish and expect every Ferrari owner to be mature enough to respect that... But they go out and name their newest model "SuperFast"?
Superfast is a name in their product history, they've used it a number of times before
OfficialEpic222 superfart is an original classic car
What do you think SuperVeloce means?
I didn't see anyone bitching about the Lamborghini LP750-4 Super Veloce. Super Veloce = super fast in Italian.

Congrats on 1 Million Subscribers Shmee! 💯
the unique facts of the 812 superfast : 8900 redline
Amazing, right!
yeah its screaming like hell, but why they didn't take the redline to 9000 its only 100 rpm more
Manggala Arifano 100rpm might not seem like much but if they did allow it to hit 9000rpm instead of 8900 maybe the powertrain would encounter issues. it isnt easy to have a high revving engine and have it do so reliably. plus 8900 is good enough.
I heard the 458 had one of 9000 rpm pretty sick
Patrick Pelletier not only that but the engine compression will be much higher too in the higher rpm
Tim are you getting another Ferrari other than gtc4 lusso
Great in depth review of the Superfast, it resembles the TDF & the F12. Great auto. Thanks for sharing.
First look, I think Ferrari is very ugly!!!! But now I think......812has Awesome@_@and handsome!!!!
only watching you driving this car already puts a smile on my face😊
Looks like a Callaway Corvette AeroWagen.
Rigo Rigo lol Chevy has copying Ferrari since the 60's
El planeta esta lleno de imbeciles. Not really.
Love it! Great video, captures your enthusiasm well for a great car
The problem with these videos is that if you say anything negative, he won't get invited in the future for other cars. #bias all these RUclipsr reviews are saying this car is amazing. Not a single critical reference.
Ryan Fick as if we are gonna buy -_-
I m agree with that. I ve wrote the same on other video by Shmee in the past... It's always "the best car I ve ever drive" and any critics even positive. That's finally boring watching the same things, Tim produces excellent videos but finally they look like promotional event for brands! And what about his friends, they do exactly the same...
Ryan Fick chris harris said in his review that the steering and the ride quality are the car's weak points. For the rest amazing.
I'm legitimately blown away by the 812. Never thought they'd top the F12 but my god they have. Forza Ferrari.
Is it better than your Ff?
EAT SLEEP F5 REPEAT quite obvious
Of course, and I have an FFT following about that
EAT SLEEP F5 REPEAT Depends on what you mean with better. This has worse Luggage space, worse comfort and so on.
Why did they call it the 'Superfast"? It sounds like something a 6 year old would come up with.
Very cringy...
Apparently they wanted to use Superveloce but Lamborghini had a trademark on that name or something. But I would've picked a different name even in that case haha
Some Guys On XBL no, the Superfast name has been used by Ferrari in the past. i think they had a car in the late 60's or early to mid 70's that had the Superfast name. it was a front engined grand tourer like the 812
It's a historical name from the past, I've touched on it a bit in an upcoming video.
Really cool car, great video!!! Your smile it's a distraction though 😁😆😃
What was Ferrari thinking????
sportsfreundberlin it is hideous. It’s like they’re designing their cars backwards.
I will not believe you're being serious.
i think ferrari was thinking... we aren't the only ones with good design anymore, everyone from audi to toyota is coming out with sexy supercars, it's time to make sure we're not winning the style race while not actually getting the track times we need.
Congrats for finally reaching 1mil!!!
Man the front is ugly, especially in that color. Black would probably make it ok
Yeah, I agree
Alex S. you are right, the front, the headlights, are ugly...
Top quality video for the top quality million. Congrats Tim, well deserved.
that headlight is so ugly !
