Trains at Crewe & Chester - February & March 2024 (ft. Black 5 44871)

Some footage from Crewe and Chester from February and March that I didn't get around to uploading, put into a big 40 minute film. Plenty of freight and railtours here. First up is some footage at Crewe on the 17th Feb, including two Class 47 hauled railtours, with 47815 'Great Western' on the "Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express" and LSL's two green 47s on Statesman Rail's "Settle & Carlisle Circular", both departing with some nice thrash. After that is some footage from Chester on the 21st Feb, which included ROG 37s 37884 and 37510 dragging Class 175 175114 off to Holyhead, and 70802 on the first Penmaenmawr stone train for about seven months. I then moved back to Crewe to see 56094 on the Longport to Crewe freight service, which departed with some nice grid thrash. Finally, we have some clips from the 2nd March, in which I chase WCRC's "The Cheshireman" railtour back and forth between Crewe and Chester. This tour was hauled by LMS Black 5 No. 44871, and it was the first steam tour I had managed to film all year. Also seen on that day were quite a few afternoon freight services at Crewe, making for a very enjoyable day out all around.
