If there isnt any codes what other symptoms can I expect of this pump fails? My Golf 6 1.6 tdi overheats only if im up on a hill on 5th speed, then goes back to normal... what could it be?
I have a 2011 Tuareg VR6 3.6L. The auxiliary coolant pump was replaced by the previous owner and looks like he had cut the plug and put a new plug on it and wired the pins in correctly. I have bought the new plug from the dealer but I need the color coded pin out diagram for this plug that I can match up with the wiring harness. Dealer refuses to give it to me, does anyone have a picture of the 3 pin plug for this year and model so that I can wire it correctly?
Thanks for watching really appreciate it. I dont want to be rude but you have a leak obviously my guess is it will be leaking from a seal somewhere you need to do a pressure test on it then you can see the leak. If you still cant see the leak possibly burning out through the EGR valve
I’m getting the same code bro, does that mean it’s that ?, because my coolant does leak so don’t know what to change and how much are those parts by the way
Hi, I have a audi s line b8 diesel, not sure if its related but I have been told it could be, I have replaced both stats twice and the car doesn't hold 90c with the heaters on, heaters off and it holds 90c, I have been told it could be the additional water pumps? Advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
@@TEAMR4ULTV it doesn't overheat, and I've had the waterpump and belts done, I'd say its not the main waterpump and could potentially be the additional pumps but not sure because I've had to drain the coolant twice to enable me to change the stats and have had to top the car back up and at that point could see the water flowing, please tell me if I'm wrong. I've got a feeling it's to do with the heaters in the car, turn them on and it drops and doesn't hold 90c, somebody told me it could be the additional pumps, it has 2? Thanks
Hi mate, can you please help me I have Golf mk7 GTD and I’m getting warm heat from the left and cold on the right. Replaced the heater matrix but no joy. Occasionally I get the EML coming on and the fault code I get is for coolant pump for the intercooler. Is this the pump B and also can this fix the heat issue also? Last thing compared to my friends GTD mine has power but I can feel when putting my foot down that it’s resisting can this be related to this. Sorry for the long thread and appreciate your response. Am pretty sure you have a actuator on each side of the foot well if you have climate control. I had same issue with my VW Touran my o/s climate control actuator was faulty

@@Cricket_with_Hamid as for the coolant pump best bet is just replace it. As for the Actuator am not 100% sure where it is on the Mk7 Golf will have to see it. But my bet is it's behind the cover on the side of the center dash. For example if it was manual the cover side of the clutch, and same on the other side. Just give the Actuator a tap it should start to work. On mine it was stuck on cold so I gave it a tap it went on hot but if i turn it to cold it gets stuck so i just left it on the hot position.

I think it's the Turbo Actuator rod has siezed up or come off. I have made video on that. Actually it was on the same car.

It could be that, I would do a pressure leak check on it to be sure,

To be honest I dont know, maybe slightly different bolt fitting like i had on mine.
When I took off the torx screws 2 of the heads came off, what is the part number do you know? Need to buy some new ones
If you just ring the parts shop and give them the reg they should find the part

As for the power issue it could be the electric coolant pump

I replaced the auxiliary pump next to rad on my vw crafter after engine management lights came on and went into limp mode . Job done . £25 ebay
