She’s totally incompetent.
She doesn’t look like she knew firearms at all. Her boss should also be held liable for the hiring of her.
Probably hired her cause of who her dad is
Yep, his dad had a long reputation, and she worked on many films. So she had a reputation, which was unfortunately not deserved for the position.
And Alec Baldwin will walk because he is worth 100 million....
@@JC-jk3kl Yes that part he will bear no blame for , despite what all the gun enthusiasts with their double triple check of a fire arm fantasy land in this scenario say.
His culpability if proved , will come from facilitating/effecting an unsafe work environment .
That's all? That's all you get for getting someone killed?
18 months was the max allowed.
Also, she was convicted of involuntary manslaughter, not murder.
The former of which has a lesser sentence
@@RB01.10 Thanks for the pertinent information.
She deserve 18 years in prison but only sentenced to 18 months.
It’s for involuntary manslaughter. Which has a lesser sentence than murder.
She thinks this conviction will damage her modeling career? 🤮
18 MONTHS? What? She was only one who knew there were live ammo. Mishandling live ammo is same as manslaughter. You don't need to pull trrigger but you know your ammo as armourer.
If you handle a firearm you are responsible it
No. If someone shows you that you are going to be using a fake sword that retracts when you push it onto something and then when it comes time to actually do the acting, and you pick up a real sword, it's not your responsibility to know the difference if it's all make-believe. There are many examples, when you are making a movie, which is all make-believe; such as a syringe with saline in it; once they hand you the syringe, your knowledge of it would only be what they tell you is in it, and if someone slipped a poison in it and you injected into someone, it is not your fault. It is the props manager, or whoever gave you that syringe that is responsible. The actor should not be taking every little part of the movie apart just to make sure everything is safe. There are assumptions that the people that manage different things are supposed to be responsible and know what is dangerous, or not.
@@Livetoeat171
OJ must have thought that knife was retractable. No wonder he got off
😂🤣😂
@@jaytaylor2312 No that was from having him try on the bloody glove .
Do Alec Baldwin next.
Bro has never seen a movie with a gun and it shows. They point them all the time.
It wasn’t his job to check if the ammo is live!!!
@@spitflamezUS army vet here. I agree with you.
The stupid, careless girl hands a man a gun that should have been safe.
@@AngeredHippo you NEVER point the gun at the camera nor at any other actors
So she will do about 10 to 12 months
Not even. Weeks. Work release
@@boogotti1173 more than likely and it’s sad she should have gotten more. Cause she knew that was a real bullet in there in my opinion I know ppl make mistakes but that’s a mistake that shouldn’t happen
The mother says the family doesn't seek revenge?? They spent almost a million on a pr campaign complete with computer graphics reenacting the scene and lobbied the state to bring charges. That doesn't ring true at all.
I hope she looks for a different line of work when she's out
Maybe they will let her empty trash cans in the office.
That is not a long sentence
@@JC-jk3klUm, really?
18 months was the maximum allowed under the law. So there was no way she or anyone would’ve gotten longer.
Wow, now that Hannah is not in front of a jury holding her fate in their hands, shes not all dolled up and looking pretty trying to appear, what ... innocent? She looks horrible.
Lawyers play a big part on how their clients look. Maybe they wanted her to look like someone who has gone thru an ordeal.
I just read and didn't realize that Hannah was remanded to the custody of the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility while awaiting the results of her appeal, which was denied. That would explain her appearance and clothing which I didn't even notice.
She's lucky. Most of us would be happy to have 1½ years of vacation to catch up on reading, watch TV and movies, and exercise. She'll have no bills to worry about and her meals will be cooked for her.
She'll also have time to find out what the word "armorer" means and why they thought she should have taken care of the guns.
Prison isn’t a luxury, not at all.
@@RB01.10 Even the ones with golf courses and swimming pools?
@@mikemondano3624 Is it worth losing ones freedom to go and do what they want? Or having to spend so many hours in a cell?
Not for me.
A prison term is inappropriate. This was an accident.
18 months to clean up.
Thats IT????
If she's responsible, then Alec Baldwin is responsible... both as the producer as well as the person who fired the gun!
Just 18 months? What a joke!
She was convicted of involuntary manslaughter, which carries a lesser sentence than had it been murder.
Armor gets 18 months. Murderer gets 0 months.
He should not get any time, it’s not his job to load the guns used in scenes!!!!! That makes no sense at all!!!! You think Keanu Reeves unloads all the guns in John Wick to double check? Nobody in Hollywood does that, that’s why it’s a film department dedicated to it.
@@spitflamez why are you defending a murderer on multiple comments? Something at stake here?
@@spitflamez it is entirely his job to check the gun, as well as not pointing at anyone.
@@tatteredshield8120 Can you explain the details of that job responsibility in ensuring 100% that only dummies have been loaded into the gun .
Might the actor just have to carry around their own box of dummies , and load them their selves. But then how can the movie set admin be sure that all actors are adhering to standards , and not letting increased probabilities with more human fallibility getting introduced .
Gee maybe they can hire 1 person to oversee it ?
@DrCognitive The armorer WAS the murderer. Try to keep up....
Only 18 months? She was responsible, she murdered that woman. U give an actor a gun that the actor thinks have blanks in it and blame the actor more than the one that loaded it? 18 months is a joke.
It's the maximum, tho.
18 months the maximum, no cant be
@@todd3563 thought the max for involuntary manslaughter is 8 years.
@@truthyahweh9877 Not in New Mexico.
@todd3563 oh ok well doesn't seem like it's involuntary to me. But whatever maybe I'm wrong.
Let's not forget that the victim was 42 y.o. Ukrainian but the average life expectancy in Ukraine is 26 years. She had a very long life by Ukrainian standards
Wish they could make fake cap guns or CGI especially in this day and age
They can. They really don't need to use real guns or even blanks.
18 months with she murderd
If you are going to hyperbole the charge , then why not go all out and say she committed mass genocide ?
It was Man Slaughter .
Alec Baldwin needs to be sentenced now.
For what? It wasn’t his job to see if a gun has live ammo, he has done plenty of movies! Would Keanu Reeves be responsible if one of his guns in John Wick, had live ammo placed into it? Absolutely not!
@@spitflamezpeople just dont like Baldwin, probably cause of his appearances on SNL and who he made fun of
Baldwin had no knowledge of the gun being armed. His assistant director and set safety were responsible for assuring that the weapon was safe.

It was on purpose. Yeah with sentencing you go by the guidelines in the law.
She's a monster 👻

The issue is the shooter not being held responsible because he's rich but if the same thing happened to us we would be in prison for 20 years.
No one would care if the media never mentioned Alec B imo lol.... lots of people like to hate on him anyway
.lol
Like the OJ trial or Amber Heard trial. Oh wait, guns were not involved in either case.

Next, this bot will offer bad financial advice with a name drop.
she should say she is an illegal. They will let her out of jail and let and let her go back to work. This can happen again.

This means Baldwin will get no jail time
Good should have been given 10 yrs.
Your Anchors are an INSULT!. Pronounce Halynas name wrong much? Say it right or not at all.
Most journalists don't take the time, yet alone, care to get these things correct. I did notice they certainly pronounced Hannah's full name correctly.
Trump is disappointed she did not delay, or talk about the judge over Facebook or jump over the judge's bench like that black guy.
IF She had the money that Alec Baldwin had she wouldn’t have gone to prison. The fact that Alec Baldwin has been doing movies involving firearms for 20+ years and hasn’t done enough training and education to know a live round from a blank is absolutely appalling.
Actors like Alec Baldwin were rail against gun rights yet they make a living involving movies with guns. If that’s not the definition of hypocrisy, I’m not quite sure what is.
Not his job or responsibility to check gun for “correct” rounds. It was hers. Her main purpose on set and reason she was getting paid was to do just that. She f’ked up and now must face the music.
The fact that Alec Baldwin walked is pathetic! 😮❤😢

He hasn't walked. He still faces trial in another three months or so.
Hey here's a person who was trying to do their job and blew it. Accidents do happen. It's involuntary manslaughter because there is no intent. She didn't mean to hurt anybody. She may have been negligent. She's not mean spirited. She'll never get over it.
She will just have to get better at living with it. A lot of life is that way. Take care and be well.
18 months from now she'll be mean spirited.
Will they still let her do onlyfans in prison?
Alec Baldwin picked up the gun, aimed it, then pulled the trigger. He's the guilty one msnbc!!!
but he didn't know it was real bullets coming out???
Did you not watch or read about the trial? It was due to her negligence that a live round ended up in that gun. However, Baldwin was also negligent for not checking the weapon prior to the 'shoot', no pun intended. They were both responsible for this tragic accident. I'm looking forward to his trial.
