ALOHA. Thanks for watching and commenting. We so very much appreciate each of you. I'll be doing more videos as we go forward and hope you stay with us. Also, you can see Hawaii Attire at: www.etsy.com/shop/lovebeaches Also, check-out www.etsy.com/shop/tanksandcrops Plus another one: www.etsy.com/shop/coffeecupsart Thanks Again!
ALOHA JUUKEZEBARBIE. Many thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, we truly love the west side of Maui, but really, the entire island always is gorgeous and beautiful. Hope you come soon and please Stay Safe. Best Aloha Wishes.
Aloha from Texas Steve, hope all is well for yourself and Patricia. Hope your getting to catch the cowboys games! I always recommend Lahaina Lobster roll to anyone I know going to Maui. 🤙
ALOHA HERNANDEZ -- Many thanks for watchig and commenting. Please see my latest video that I just posted today, Thursday 14th -- as I sadly, very sadly closed Lahaina Lobster Roll. But I'll still be shooting videos and maybe do another location, so stay tuned. Best Aloha Wishes.
ALOHA RAYMOND. Many thanks for watching and commenting. I sure look forward, also, to next year. This year has been a challenge. I'll keep doing videos and hope to see ya'll next year. Best Aloha Wishes.
Thanks for the great video! That's more like it; what a stunning place. Always chuckle when I see the term "English Muffins" when overseas...we just call them "muffins" (lol). A bit surprised that Patricia's bacon was "streaky" bacon not "back" bacon...was it alright?
ALOHA GILL. You to see you and thanks for watching/commenting. Yea, that's funny. Since you're in Britain, no need to say "English" anything. Just drop that word. Hope you're doing well and please stay safe, sound, smart, salty and somewhat sane. A bit any way. Best Aloha Wishes.
ALOHA BRIANK8193 Hey, thank you for watching and oommenting. I'm back from a short break and will be posting more videos today and this week. Stay Tuned! Stay safe and come to Maui soon. Best Aloha Wishes
Ahhhhh, you've given us more gorgeous views of spectacular Maui! Always do I thank you for that! Because we live in the Phoenix area and aren't used to seeing huge expanses of green/greenery, when I watch your videos I am struck by the lushness of Maui every time. Not much ocean here either! My husband is like you, Steve, in that eggs benedict reigns supreme in his world whenever we go somewhere serving a breakfast menu. So, we'll be following your presentations with added interest! Stay well, you two, and know your video efforts are much appreciated.
ALOHA JO ANNE. Many thanks for your always kind and generous words and encouragement. I get so few "views" on my videos and it often seems somewhat pointless to put in so much effort, but then I read your comments and get encouraged to do more. Phoenix is a beautiful area and I spent many days there on business handling Motorola. I love Phoenix and the Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse, which I hear is now closed. Kudos to your husband and his love for Eggs Benedict. Bring him over and we'll spend every morning trying a new place for breakfast. LOL. Make sure he brings lots of $$$ because it seems every place charges a LOT for Eggs Benedict. Stay safe both of you and take care. I'll be shooting again soon. Best Aloha Wishes.
@@MauiTravelVideos It's too bad you aren't getting many views. Your videos are the best! More in depth info than most, reminds me of being there. Looking forward to our next visit in January!
@@linuxwes ALOHA WES. Many thanks for watching and commenting. Yea, my views are up and down. I was doing a LOT of views, but now with September and the fall coming, we tend to slow down. And some new restrictions on Sept. 15th may slow down on the number of tourists (and viewers). Thanks for your compliments and please Stay Safe. Best Aloha Wishes.
Canceled our Honeymoon vaca for the 2nd straight year :( Just too much to bother with vaccine cards, masks everywhere, 50% cap in restaurants, etc, etc...will try again in Fall of 2022!! Will keep watching your great videos though and continue to dream...Thanks Steve!!
ALOHA HAROLD. Thanks for watching and trying to get to Maui. I do completely understand. But, some are coming and just doing a lot of take-out. Ex. Order at Star Noodle and taking it to Canoe Beach just up Hwy. 30 and enjoying sunset and dinner. Patricia and I now do that a lot, and I doubt we ever go back to going inside a building and looking at four walls. Like Lahaina Grill. We love the outdoor breeze at Mala Ocean Tavern and many places. Hope to see you sometime when you come and please stay safe and healthy. Best Aloha Wishes.
Steve, great place! I really like eating brunch there. I love the views there, the birds, and the classiness of being there. Thanks for sharing! I really miss Hawaii.
ALOHA JOHNNY. Many thanks for both watching and commenting. Yea, it's a good place, and also the Burger Shack is pretty good also. Hope you can get back to the islands soon. Stay Safe. Best Aloha Wishes.
Thanks for the Kapalua drive. Cook Pines are a give away. Ocean view restaurants are so wonderful in that climate. Breakfast and drinks looked good. Enjoyed the beach. Never ending rules. Hope the restaurants won’t be adversely affected again.
ALOHA DOREEN. Thanks for watching and commenting. September is always slow and this year is about the same. Just a few simple rules and restrictions. We LOVE to eat and drink. Best Aloha Wishes and please Stay Safe.
Hi Steve- Plantation House is a fun place for a sunset dinner. Sadly, I saw that Lahaina Lobster has been painted all white. I am sorry to see that your restaurant has closed. I'm sure there will be other opportunities right around the corner for you and Patricia. Aloha.
ALOHA JOHN. Thanks for watching and commenting and coming by the LLR. I will post a video today explaining a bit about why we closed. Basically, it was a simple and easy decision -- there is a global shortage of lobster. More accurately, there is absolutely a shortage of lobster at an acceptable price. Sysco, my food purveyor, was great informing me of the upcoming shortage. I could not get lobster. I could get limited supplies of Maine lobster, but then my lobster roll would've been $46.95. Also, there is a major supply chain problem getting supplies and stuff that I need to meet the upcoming new environmental laws. Along, with a drastic drop of tourists coming to Maui and little foot traffic and high rent on Front Street, we had no choice. Lastly, that store lay-out is just not good for what I was doing. It was great for my fudge store 9 years ago, but I had no seating for customers and I lost a lot of business because of that. I was just a lunch take-out business and that is just not enough revenue to support the rent, etc. I was never able to hire an employee. Truthfully, I sorta don't miss the 60-70 hour work weeks. LOL. My body was taking a severe toll, as I just turned 68. But I am proud of what I did and accomplished. I showed a lot of people that a lunch sandwich place can be done on Front Street. But this pandemic and gov't restrictions just did not help me much. Anyway, thanks for asking and being there for me. I am back to shooting video and looking for one of those J-O-B things. Take care and stay safe. Steve
@@johnsipple4113 John, I'll look back at the video. It definately had a "sauce" on it and it was a bit "lemony" I thought. Strong lemon taste. It must not have showed up much in the video. But it was very good. Thanks!!
@@MauiTravelVideos Hi Steve- You should be proud of what you did! You proved that a lunch take-out could work under "normal" economic and tourist conditions. I humbly suggest that you use your youthful 68 years and leverage the strength of your RUclips presentation skills to promote/endorse/market Maui businesses at a time when they need it most. I can't wait for what comes next for both you and Patricia! All my best, John
@@johnsipple4113 Aloha John and Wowszie. Thanks for such nice words of encouragement and support. I am very proud of LLR, as we had many 5 Star reviews of Yelp! and Square and a lot of nice comments from folks. Wish I had seating and we would've been fine. I wish I had not opened Dec. 3rd of last year. The pandemic and restrictions were going strong and I did little business for 3-4 months, and then it got busier and busier. Actually, I had about 6 good weeks, the month of July and the first two weeks of August. And then tourism dropped off. I was not a destination. I needed walk-by traffic. Lots of it. Also, without seating I had zero evening dinner business, as (I am the same) people want to come to Front St and enjoy a Mai Tai and sit and relax and eat and watch the sunset. Then, along with Supply Chain issues and the emergence of new environmental laws about to become effective, my costs were going up. So -- I'll find something to do. Many many thanks for your support and suggestions and encouragement. Really appreciate you and seeing you here. Best Aloha Wishes & Blessings Always. Steve

Stay safe and Best Aloha Wishes.
ALOHA DS. Many thanks for your message. I closed that location on the 10th. That is a good location. LLR is a good business. But that is not a good location for Lahaina Lobster Roll. No seating. Poor kitchen design. It just was not working. Take-out only. No dinner business at all, only a good lunch business. Rent going up. I had that location for Lahaina Fudge Company, and it was perfect for that concept. It's ideal for retail and walk through to a counter. Not trying to offer food. I'm looking for a location with seating, where I can expand the menu, and also offer wine. Stay Tuned. Many thanks for coming by. Best Aloha Wishes.
