Could’ve bought a crotch rocket for the upgrades lol. Kidding, I just got one yesterday for $400. Rear fender had fallen off which tore a small hole in the seat but still has the nipples on the tires. Fun little thing and my dog loves it, he chases me around on it, so works great for their exercise lol
Just got one. They are sweet. I just put a new head and exhaust system on, new pull start and jack shaft chain. Stage 2 carburetor next lol
that exhaust is awesome
Looking good, I had to put rear shocks on my CT200U-EX.
just got the thumb throttle you have it comes tomorrow ill update how i like it thnaks!
How do you like it?
@@cincostrack4831 i hated it lmao 😂😂 replaced it with a better twist throttle i got a nibbi throttle they are soooo good i wouldnt recommend the thumb throttle it made my thumb hurt a lot
Awesome
Real quick, that governor screw you cut off doesn't do much. You have to take the engine apart and take the gear out.
That was quick
The governor is inside the engine the screw allows you to adjust and make it slower for children so they don't go over 5,10 mph, kmh, but that exhaust looks mint
It’s not bad
can you elaborate on why the stock throttle doesnt work with the carb? that makes no sense. I've ordered all these parts minus the thumb throttle because i want to keep the normal one why do i need it
The throttle cable does not have a knob on the end of it. When installing the aftermarket carb, you need the knob to pull the silde up. Otherwise, the slide would not move and the throttle cable would slip through. Checkout this video of black66 same situation, see what he did, go to 3:51. ruclips.net/video/bXRQfwHEPfg/видео.htmlsi=SSLr3RKfCxJsRr5B
@@Bataha thank you, I see now. To my understanding I could just weld a small little tip on it so it doesn't slip out instead of buying a new throttle all together?
@@Willy38134 Yes sir. You would have to solder it just like in the black66 video.
@@Bataha yeah i mean solder not weld 😆tysm for the help again man, im getting the same exact build as you i love these videos.
@@Willy38134 yeah for sure man, no problem.
Mines going 75 predator 212 swap
What’s done to it
Super cool
Can you possibly send me the link for the sprockets you bought?

@@Batahathank you bro.
I want to cut the governor screw off my colemam ct200 ex but I just don’t no if it Will blow the engine up because mine only gets 20 mph and I want it to go A little faster
I don’t think it will. Especially if the governor arm and throttle linkage are still in place. The internal governor will still work.
OK thank you so much
There is one mod you can do , I have two of these bikes . Now take into account this is not a proper "removal" of the governor gear but it does work. Takes two zip ties
Awesome review. Are you up for a collaboration on small engine repair by the way? Hipa supplies small engine parts and I'm looking for youtubers to work with sharing more tips of small engine repair to help the community.
yes, I would be intrested in talking it over.
If I want more speed can I just jump right to the carb upgrade?
Yes. But you might not get much speed. For higher top speed you'll need to do something with the gearing first.
@@Bataha Totally understand! Thanks. I'm def getting one of these little guys
I need u to mod mines to go 42😂 I hope u in Virginia 😢
I’m in Texas. These mods are pretty easy. Watch my videos or other videos on RUclips and you should be able to do it.
I have ct100u but the minunet I pull start it it rips off when I start it I have to find out why it does that and get it fixed
The cord rips off or the entire pull start assembly?
@@Bataha no the bike rips off when i start it like it takes off
@@HaynesterMx1 do you have the stock jackshaft or a clutch on it? Most likely the clutch is sticking causing it to take off right when you start the bike.
@@HaynesterMx1 either what he said, or your throttle is sticking open, if what he said didn’t work, maybe try cleaning ur carb cuz it might be gummy
There will deff be glitter filled oil 😅 haha these motors puke metal shavings but it's norm deff change the oil!!😂✌️💚
What brand and where did you get your carburetor kit?
