This is the kind of weather that causes me to pause on the idea of driving a truck for a living. You guys stay safe. 🙏🏼
I definitely do not miss driving in those conditions. Stay safe out there.
Yup - it was crazy driving in that weather I was going down to Tennessee from Canada through Ohio, Kentucky etc. and once I saw the trees on the side of the road start freezing over I knew it was just a matter of time before I started seeing trucks and cars in the ditches, everyone just need to slow down and take there times in that kind of weather - a normal drive of 45 minutes took me about 3hr to travel just put your hazards on and relax :), thanks for the VLOG.
F that if you have to drive in this kind of weather then you are at the wrong company
True, the drive will take MUCH longer, but at least you stay alive and safe!
Lee Prosper - make your comment make sense…I think I’m taking it the wrong way.
Truck drivers are the backbone of this country
KT FAM! Glad you and Babe are staying safe. But listen there is no load or anything worth getting hurt. When you don't feel safe driving pull over. Everything can be replaced except you guys. So stay safe and God Bless. KTFAM....
We Are Missing Your Videos, Kayla!!!!!!!! Please Come back to us young lady. This Channel Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!☺
Good traffic movement keeps road dry in tire traction marks. Always be grateful for the ones in front of you. Water splashing off tires means road not frozen.
I’ve miss your videos!! I happy you guys are back on the road = more videos :) I’m happy you guys are safe! KT FAM ALWAYS!!!💕
Take one mile at a time ..God Bless y’all…and be very safe out there
I will happily stay out west in the Rockies and cascades in the winter. They don’t play. Plows are sitting and waiting, and if it’s bad enough they shut it down
I’m glad you both made it through that crazy weather!! I was stuck in Ohio during that storm! Stay safe out here!! 🥰🥰
That first view when you opened the curtains. I would have crawled my butt back in bed 🤣
Glad to see y'all again stay safe out there.
May God continue to protect us
Amen!
Be careful in that nasty snowy 🌨 weather kay-kay & Ellie much love ❤️
Great video. I'm glad you shown crashes because people need to see this and slow down and not be distracted while driving
Yes!!! I hope that everyone takes their time and stays safe. That’s all I hope for
MISSING YOU GUYS VLOGS HOPE YALL DOING GOOD HAPPY TRAILS AND SAFE TALES 🙏🏼💯
Had a load from IL down to texas ive been driving for years and i saw more trucks in the ditch in 24 hrs then i saw in all my years....yall be safe out there
Yes! It was crazier than I’ve seen as well.
Hit that same storm in upstate New York a couple of days ago. And now heading back to Florida. Stay safe out there
I have so much respect for u after watching this video ❤️
BACK IN 1988 I was known as the KING OF THE TRUCK STOP. I had a chair and if I caught anyone sitting in my chair there would be straight up repercussions…. I said straight up repercussions. I never paid for my meals. I always got a chump to pay, and if they did not pay they would pay another way. I loved the triple decker burgers. People used to try to get on my good side by buying me triple decker burgers but no one was on my good side. I also had a bathroom law. No one was allowed to use the last stall only I could. If I caught anyone there I would kick the stall down door. Back in those days the truck stops were like the Wild West. Friday night live band concerts in the truck stop . One Friday night I knock out the lead singer for pointing me out in the crowd and disrespecting me for my size. Back then I went by the name Big DooDoo because if anyone crossed me they would be in Big DooDoo. You young ladies wouldn’t be able to handle the truck stops back then. These days truck stops have too many rules. I could knock a person out and not get kicked out. These days cops would be called. Ya, you young ladies are in the soft era of truckin.
Chow!
Don't know how you got on my feed, buuut.....RESPECT from San Diego!
Just another day for a couple of FL ladies, yall got that!
I caught the storm in western Missouri.
That's really some bad driving conditions. Y'all stay safe. God bless you both 🙏.
Safe travels trucking
That jack-knifed truck in your lane was extremely lucky to stay on the road. Glad to see you make it safely. Weather has been a son-of-a gun this year.
The red truck? He definitely got lucky to not go completely over the bridge. Seeing these accidents are traumatizing. Can’t imagine the feeling that the driver feels
@@KaylaTaylorTrucking, I totally agree. I run local in Minnesota. Have shut down more times this year than any other I've been driving.
Basically it’s a Blizzard 🥶
*wind blown flurries*....."It's snowing" *wind blown flurries*....."No, it's snowing SNOWING"..*wind blown flurries*.....
Great video Kayla
Happy Birthday Kayla🎊🎉🎂 have a wonderful day 🇯🇲🇯🇲
Be careful on highways!
I digged my driveway twice from snow. ⛄️❄️
Y'all be careful Driving bad weather.. take your time..🥶🥶
As long as you were not in an accident then it is good. Looked like a lot of snow. Good video. 🙂
Side hooking is alright it’s just rough on the landing gear.
Normally the trailer tires prevent movement. Sideway less so.
I've had to hook at an angle a couple of times. Oh, not that I recommend it but I've gone through some nasty conditions; tornado, white out, blizzard and downpours. Trust and believe that God was with me every inch of the way. But hey Kayla as always, thank you. I'm in Florida till maybe Wednesday near Orlando. Luv u (much respect 😉)
Some gnarly out there!
Damn that a lot of accidents! Stay safe drivers
And that wasn’t even half of them!!
I love your music 🥰 be careful out there
Great job behind the wheel!
Safe travels prayers go out to you
Be safe out there love your videos 😍
Wow that looks awful. And all that carnage on the road. You must be nervous as hell the whole time. Stay safe!! And get some boots! :)
Wow, that was too many accidents in one day 😮☝️! I would only be a seasonal driver!
Hi, get winter wipers they don’t build up the ice like the regular wipers do.
Hello Kayla 😊 very good morning ☀️ how r u doing.. we all are waiting to see ur birthday video.. please upload your birthday video soon... We r so excited to see ... Oppss i don't know about others but I'm so excited... And ya my sister blessed with baby boy on 10th February... 🥰🥰
You are so brave! I would have shut down a long time ago.
Glad your safe. But there really was no good excuse for most of those wrecks!
It's too dangerous winter ❄️ when ur going back to home... Ur birthday is going to come.. I'm so excited to see. How you have celebrated ur birthday 🎉... Advance Happy Birthday n it's going to complete one of ur engagement 💍😍 may all ur wishes come true 🤝🤗 say hii 🖐️ to Eli 👩❤️👩👩❤️👩
Aww thank you ❤️❤️❤️
I don't recommend using the wipers to clean snow and ice from the windshield. You can easily ruin the blades by doing that then you have to get out and replace the wipers.
My Blessed 2's. I just came back from FL,. I helped a person move, long story, I got chased by the snow ❄️🌨️ storm, but I made it there, I'm back now in NY,. it felt like I missed you but I know, I'm always with you. Everyday my Blessed 2's. 0/06/2022. Sun. 3:16 pm. EST. . Blessed 1
Evening KT Family
Heyyy y'all and stay safe out there 🙏🙏🙏
Another good suggestion...keep insulated coveralls.
Which Railyard were you at in this video, Kayla? Was it Chicago, there in the Midwest? Also, when are the 2 of you coming back to U.S. Xpress as OTR Team Drivers? The Pay is Exceptionally Good!!!! Stay Safe out There, and Happy Trails, Kayla!!!!!!!☺
hi Kayla it's great to see your pretty face on another video ,stay safe out there ,can't wait to see you again, Rick from Kutztown Pa 💖💖💖
Hey I think I saw you all picking up that UPS van trailer from Union Pacific (Marion,Ar). I was passing through there yard in the CN 2 engine train. Union Pacific is horrible at keeping their intermodal facility easily accessible for drivers.
Please be carful; Love you all
Wow big rig grave yard. Looks like you are driving slow and steady like you should. I have a new boat just completed in MA but I think this CA boy is just going to have it delivered to me by a guy use to driving in those conditions.
Yes! Let someone do the dirty work. I mean, no offense to the guy that has to do it but I’m sure he’ll get his money worth lol
@@KaylaTaylorTrucking Yes he will get around 3K! Had another guy take a boat I sold from CA to WA. These guys work through U-Ship and they have pick ups and go back and forth across the country.
Y'all are doing good 👍Driving..😉
Hello, thanks for another great vviiiddddeeeoo, did you all get a different tractor? please drive to survive and stay safe out there !
We did! If you follow me on Instagram you’ll get to see a lot more of everything.
Glad you're safe......conditions like that aren't funny
Girl, snowing HARD..come to Corner Brook Newfoundland 😉❤❤
In all seriousness...drive safe!
Y'all be safe 🙏out there 🙏😇, a little garden angel help y'all out..later 👋
If you don't already have an ulcer, you'll have one before this winter is over 😳. Stay safe 👍🏼👍🏼
Agreed!!!! If not a heart attack first!!!
Stay safe out there
I've definitely hooked to a trailer 90 degrees but it's not ideal😅
From the looks of it, looks like you were southbound on I65 and that bad wreck was just south of Lafayette, IN exit?
She crazy to be driving in this kind of weather no load especially as bad as it is
Called put two big pieces of cardboard on your windshield,, when it snows or ice storm..
The ice was the biggest issue with this storm..wreaked havoc everywhere..
Yes, even the weather channel lady said, “I don’t know what it’s going to take to keep drivers off the roads”. I’m just thinking, maybe you should close the roads to keep them off lol
Yup … Everyone seems to believe their truck sticks to the road like a magnet sticking to metal or they have some kind of magical powers , five trucks passed me and all those five trucks were in the ditch. When I feel my wheels slipping I simply get off the road if you drive on ice slow enough you’ll know When your wheels are starting to slip.
I agree with everything you said. I’m making another video talking about what happened to me because it’s true, drive at a safe speed that allows you to be able to control you vehicle if anything starts to happen.
Good video.
This is normal these are the ones that be speeding pass by you then you see them a couple miles ahead all crashed up,
Take it slow the black ice don't play
waterproof slip resistant boots. safety and keep them feet dry. Keep those toes.
It’s so dangerous winter on the road and trucks accidents on the travel. This is not good idea on the road so please stay safe.
Keep it up, good 👍job
Can I get a video of you two taking turns cranking your landing gear up and down? 😜
Hi Kayla I was here ✌️
beautiful
You guys be safe
I shut down in INA ILLINOIS during that storm
What drives me crazy is when the snow and ice accumulate on my windshield wipers and I have to stop and clean them off
It is quite annoying!
Not gonna lie I saw the air fryer box I think it’s the exact one I snagged I was mid ohio took 30 across Indiana made it to almost Gary and my Fleet manager called and said the wind was blowing people off the road and cops were having people get off the road so he shut me down.
Mother Nature wasn’t playing there! So many accidents, some people just have no idea how to drive in snow. I don’t blame the drivers for not knowing how I blame the cdl training for not teaching at least in depth theory because whatever there teaching for some it’s not enough.
Side docking - yes you can do it. When I ran aid convoys we used to pick up at docks and had to side dock all the time. It’s ok on the truck but the trailers really don’t like it as they aren’t supported by the trucks rails. If your in the situation where you have no choice but to side dock I’d call your company for permission then use as shallow an angle as possible
Good to see you two cuties made it safe and sound through the horrible weather. The video ended a bit abruptly but was good
Love you Kayla and Eliante
If you squeeze that steering wheel any tighter it will crumble into pieces🚛💪🌈🌈
Weeding the rookies...respect the road
Yeah I definitely didn’t risk it. I stayed off the road until the second day of it
I wish y’all did not have to drive thru that it makes me so worried and scared..Love the scenery it’s pretty and that accident was bad..what truck stop were y’all at with all that Dunkin coffee on Eliante’s Instagram post?
Oh shoot I can’t remember what truck stop I was at this morning! Lol it would have been pilot or loves, that’s all I know! ❤️❤️
@@KaylaTaylorTrucking lol okay thank you 😊 😍
Hey ladies hope all is well
Crazy
It was bad here in Chicago too i just don’t understand why ppl still want to speed in these conditions
Be careful on the road K and E
Don't be afraid angler right in there
wow be careful!
WoW 😯
Soyez prudente les filles! 🌺
Better y'all than me
Kayla, what do you use to record/vlog your trucking? Thanks
I use my iPhone 13 pro max
Hey I was watching Shipping Wars and one of the truckers got stopped by a cop. The cop asked for a log book and he didn't have one. So he was stopped from delivering. My question is why have a log book? And if you do have a log book, couldn't you just make up the information?
Wow! 👍🇭🇺
