🎉🎉❤I’ve learned driving a truck to always, always respect Mother Nature, and in return you should stay in the safe zone. That’s what Kevin does so well. Great job Kev, you give us all a restored faith in how people see truck drivers!
Yup! That’s an extra challenge to go along with everything else on that initial steep learning curve! 😳 Congratulations in getting that CDL and for staying safe…even in all that snow!!!
Not using a engine brake on slippery roads is because it make the drives break traction. Not that you'd slow down too fast and a trailer come around. It's winter time, get used to a dirty truck, especially driving in salty Minnesota.
It sucks when you spend money to get the truck washed after checking the weather forecast and it’s says no rain and get 10 miles down the road and it’s pouring rain lol
I wanted to compliment you both. I've bounced back and forth and cherry picked individual videos so far .. and not watched it like a season 1 & Season 2 series in order yet lol. What I appreciate is the teamwork you both provide the viewer. Tonya is great at being able to video things that Kevin would absolutely have zero chance to show if he was solo. Even the 'boring' stuff is interesting if you are really want to see how things work on a daily basis. Thanks to both of you for education and enjoyment! Safe Travels
Atleast the roads weren’t iced up.I quit counting after 15 that’s how many cars 🚗 were in the ditch. It was kind of a challenge I’ll admit backing in my empty trailer today.Traction was a serious issue.I had to grab my bottle of anti-gel & pour some in front of each set of my drives & it actually helped my tires get traction,I’m gonna start carrying a jug of rock salt.
Now that I am 85, I stay home when it snows. Before, however, I ran a public library located 4 steep and windy mountain roads away. I somehow always managed.
It’s good to actually see a safe truck driver and calmly deliver his load under weather conditions. Once again job well done. As for your clean truck it will be clean again. Here in Alaska a clean truck will last about 15 minutes if lucky LOL. Stay safe and healthy out there.
