    In my most recent game, the party Barbarian gave the Bomber permission to hit her with Splash damage, because the Barbarian was surrounded by spiders & considered AoE damage too beneficial to pass up!
    So, some times, you can keep your friends by hitting them with bomb splash damage!

    My favorite video about the alchemist, it shows how much they can be versatile. Thanks Mr. Crunch McDabbles!

    I've got to say I really love this format and how you talk about the features. I showed it to a player in a game I'm starting tomorrow, and he really found it helpful!

    Really helpful! I am new to pathfinder and wanted to build a bouncy goblin alchemist named Gummi based on a Gummy Bear. I found the book to be confusing and this video was really clarifying! Thank you!

    Great video, Crunch!
    And thank you for pronouncing “reagents” correctly. I’m so tired of hearing people say “regents” as though the “a” wasn’t there..

    Are you able to use perpetual infusions with double brew and alchemical alacrity? I assume yes since they both still use the quick alchemy action, but I'm really not sure.

      You sir have requested the lord's of war to congregate
      It seems it's a split community (alchemist players vs everyone else) that reads it as since you use no reagents no doable brew that says you can spend another reagent

    • @Shumanigans
      @Shumanigans 3 года назад

      @@THEdeadlynightshade1646 Oh weird but good to know! I guess I just read double brew/alchemical alacrity as only changing the cost of quick alchemy, from 1 to up to 2/3 reagents. I don't see how that suddenly invalidates perpetuals as an ability exactly but to be fair I've never played an alchemist.

      gm wise, as long as both infusions are from your perpetual list, i'd allow it. otherwise, i'd say you spend the extra reagents for non-perpetual infusions.
      I say i would allow it because aside from toxicologist, these items are very low damaging items for level 7 adventures.

      @@lightblckknight for bombers it's low damage but can add CC to them for any other ones well not really a point to making more 😂

    HOW MANY FORMULAS DO I GET AT LEVEL 3?! How is it so obscure to get such easy information... Just be simple.

    • @LegendaryCMD
      @LegendaryCMD  Год назад +2

      Well, let's add it up.
      You have the alchemical crafting feat at first level which gives you four common first level alchemical items. You have a formula book at first level that gives you two more common first level alchemical formulas. You get two more common first level alchemical items of a specific type based on your research field i.e., mutagens, bombs, healing or poison. So that would be 8 formulas at first level.
      The example first level formula book for an alchemist in the CRB has these 8 formulas for example: Lesser acid flask, lesser alchemist’s fire, lesser antidote, lesser antiplague, lesser cheetah’s elixir, lesser elixir of life, lesser tanglefoot bag, lesser smokestick.
      You also get two new common formulas each time you level that are automatically added to your formula book. So, at level 2 you would have 10 formulas, and to your question, at level 3 would have 12 formulas.
      But...but it's also possible to find or buy additional formulas in settlements or from other alchemists.
