The only boss fight you want to loose at
If you lose he does cut her throat :D
Lose* but yes.
yup I don't want Talion to loose to a stupid Elven girl nor do I want to see a long sword user to loose to someone wielding kitchen knives.
And when her and celembrimbor are fighting souron
"He belongs to the Dark Lord" Really? Talion spent all this time resisting the corruption to be attacked and acused? That's shitty
"I serve middle earth" what a hero... so selfless that even after he was betrayed he came back to save the world
Etariel: you serve sauron
Talion: I serve middle earth
Me: oh cool am fighting talion
For those we cherish
Makes me think that if he knew about the Fellowship, he would also say with Aragorn at the foot of the Black Gate, "For Frodo."
Even with the added evil influence of the ring he still did not seek vengeance until he turned at the end
We die in glory!@@Erfierazgzb0ss4u
I actually think that Eltariel is the sole reason Talion slowly starts to succumb to Isildur's ring. When you think about it Talion was able to resist the temptation and will of Sauron for so long while RIGHT next to Sauron's source of power. He was able to keep the forces of Mordor in a stalemate for year as he says but low and behold as soon as Eltariel shows up he slowly succumbs to ring. He mentions her and Celebrimbors betrayal so I really think have Eltariel there was a constant remind of that betrayal.
The whole reason he lost the second fight was because he was fully corrupted by the ring
@@helafinwe I concur However, elf bitch made that when waaaaaay sooner
I don't think so, he was going to fall soon either way
I agree due to the fact he talks about that during the entire end fight.
He has point maybe he succumbed to the rage and betrayal because of etarile I wonder how do people say that she is good but she is the true enemy for her betrayal
Seeing Talion using his powers in a cutscene is hype
codafett
I'm agree
@@thearchon8579 I'm also agree.
@@price6211 I too, I’m agree
The amount of times I yelled out, "I KNOW THAT MOVE! :D"
@@NotFoods I'm agree
This was the only time I have ever seriously contemplated throwing a boss fight and simply never playing the game again.
Yup
What difficulty? Gravewalker?
@@vatonage1599 not a question of difficulty, its a statement that this woman is terrible and deserves to lose lmao
She takes the ring from talion to dominate actual people aka the nazgul instead of free them from 1000s of years of basically slavery but won't dominate orcs. Like damn she is genuinly the worst character ever and doesn't deserve the ring.
@@zaing1404 her and Celembron, I hate them more than the orcs and uluks. I can't believe they betray Tailon after everything they went through together. I think The Nazgul and The Witch King were his real friends.
"I wont dominate these orcs" then she has no reason to keep that ring XD give it to the guy who will use it lol
EvolvedGamerz imagine how powerful Talion will be with both Isildurs ring and Celebrimbors.
I think the point is Isildur's ring corrupts him, so he could just remove the ring and wear celebrimbors instead so there's no need to worry about eventually succumbing to darkness. It would make more sense how he was able to hold off the forces of darkness for decades (cuz I doubt any man would survive that long tbh) with a dark ring of power
Except this dlc doesn't show us that Talion held off the forces of darkness for decades because he turns into a Nazgul at the end of the dlc which doesn't take place decades after shadow of war. Which means the creators are gonna have to figure out a way for Talion to break out of Saurons control and put back into his control decades later.
Isaac
Im kinda assuming the orcs that were still loyal to not succumbed talion, that they did hold some fortresses up until taken out by nazghul of stronger uruks
"I wont dominate these orc"
Me: bitch you dumb enough to dominate sauron aka the FUCKING DARK LORE ,that even worst.
0:19 just imagine if Shelob appeared at that moment and stopped Eltarial saying "you fool, Talion is the only one keeping the forces of evil at bay"
Yeah that would make me quit instantly
Shelob then kills Bitcharial, gives the new ring to Talion and we play as Talion in the rest of the DLC.
100/10 best DLC ever.
Shelob: "Yeah. I know, lmao."
She didn't need to. Talion whooped her ass lol.
Blades of Galadriel DLC lets you play as the bad guy
Hello there
@@raspberryjam3724 General Kenobi!
Indeed it does
Yup
True :(
Talion became a fucking cool and badass character once he put on Isildur's ring. Before, he was kinda plain, not that special. NOW, he's a one-man army battling against the forces of darkness, and did so for decades before succumbing to Isildur's ring. No one else (to my knowledge) was able to resist the ring's influence for as long as Talion had!
He always was a one man army fighting for Mordor. Just before the ring, he was a one man army, not his own general. He was manipulated by everyone around him, until he grabbed the world by the balls and destroyed everyones hold on him. He finally reclaimed his life after years of fallowing in hopes of reaching his goal:balance mordor. Once he out on the ring though, he realized this. Making his plan happen, even until his very end, corruption, death, destruction, whatever it may be, was his true goal. And before you get defensive let me say I 100℅ agree with you as well.
It's 2020 and I'm still resisting my friend
Unfortunately the game is not cannon.
@@owenmurley4743 it's is it's own universe so yes it canon
@@rational_skeptic98 if you put it like that, then yes it is cannon. It is just not cannon to Tolkien’s middle earth story.
Talion is honestly one of the most impactful characters ive seen in a while. He tortures himself for decades, only bringing risk to himself. He could cast Isildurs ring into mount doom, and finally die in peace, but at his own expense of potentially becoming a Nazgul, and eventually receiving no commemorance or reward in gold or glory for his actions, he chooses to don the ring, despite the pain it might bring him. If he fails, and Sauron conquers middle earth, he will forever become a Nazgul. Despite all that, he keeps going. Hes one of the strongest characters ive seen in a story
He made the decision already at the end of the first game, when Cele…traitor offered to leave his body after they defeated the hand. Even when being betrayed like that, he did everything possible to delay Sauron and mr. traitor
It's pretty interesting with what they did with Talion's eyes, how they shift from a glowing yellow orange to his natural eyecolor.
Natural being gray?
He’s a dead body walking so makes sense his eyes are drained when he is at his best mentally.
It's a lot like how in Star Wars, the Sith eyes can fade momentarily when not entirely aligned with the Dark Side.
“You serve Sauron!”
“I serve middle-earth!”
4:13
Alternative ending
*Eltariel dies roll credits*
I see no problem with this other than it doesn't happen
It's kinda neat how they pulled the player's gameplay of Talion into the AI in this boss. It may be nothing special or original, but it's still impressive that Monolith did this anyway.
Xavier Tsun wait really??
wait, really??? thats awesome your fighting your self!!!!! ( mgs5 should have done this in outer heaven a boss battle where you loss, ss vs bb)!
Seriously. You should notice the double jumping, dashing, throwing hammers, execution animations, quick dagger throws etc. These are all things you can do in the game when you're playing as Talion. It's seriously awesome!
yoga5631 yes you can get a hammer and you have the talon strike while in mid air aim at the ground and press Square to teleport and smash the ground and you can also throw knives and much more
Not impressive so much as cool. If anything, slightly lazy.
Can we just appreciate how badly Eltariel got her ass kicked by Talion? She's lucky Talion is, as he said to the Witch-King, "Not of darkness yet." because he would have taken off her head at first chance and taken the New Ring to Sauron
He probably would’ve taken the new ring himself and beat the shit out of sauron and the nine
@@maj0rjeag3r thats what he should have done
@@maj0rjeag3r think you may want to reread the original comment. And from the sounds of it maybe read up on the lore behind the relationship between Sauron and the Nazgûl. If Talion had fallen, like in the situation posed by the original comment, Talion literally *could not* do that. He would be a slave to Sauron's will, just like the other Nazgûl. That's... Kind of the whole point of the lesser Rings.
@@toastedjawa3620 has anyone ever told you you don't have to constantly be condescending? I'm saying if it wasn't for the plot needing Eltarial to have the ring talion would've taken it and killed sauron. No need to be a dick just because you didn't understand that.
@@maj0rjeag3r 🤦♂️ and I'm saying in the situation in the original comment that is, by the lore, *impossible*.
The fact that she got her ass beat so badly while wearing the new ring just proves that shelob was right when she said talion woulda demolished Sauron
When you hear the original theme at 0:24....Maximum chills...
When you do this on gravewalker and he kills you and you at last feel the horror and despair you've made so many orcs feel before you as he raises his blade to finish it.
Every other orc Talion has killed: "NOT SO EASY, IS IT, SHE-ELF BITCH?!"
@@Whimsy3692this reply is awesome.
Damn talion is strong even when controlled by a robot
Hes not controlled by a robot
@@djw_tekken8490 He's controlled by AI which is technically a term for Robot.
"I will not dominate this orcs" *Talion's triggered look sayin' i'll kill if you don't do* "Bur i'll bring them back"
Celebrimbor's betrayal was triggered by a disagreement over the ethics of dominating a human soul, having established that dominating orcs was fine in comparison.
Eltariel took Celebrimbor's side and accepted the domination of more elevated sentient beings... And now she refuses to dominate some lowly orcs? That elf doesn't even stand for the values for which she forced Talion to go through hell to hold Mordor back.
2019 and i still hating eltariel
I agree
Yep
2020 and i still hating eltariel
where is lithariel ;-;
I have sympathy for orcs that's why I rarely shame them, but eltariel makes me want to active the worse than death and shame her until she's lvl one and deranged
At the end of the dlc they show her saying she'll go after calibrimbor, implying that in the next game we'll be playing her and I hate that.
I won’t even buy the game if that’s the case
@Cactus Juice fingers crossed, when i saw the nazgul sisters I laughed and to make matters worse they're Chinese, like WTF! They simply don't care about writing something good just bad bad bad.
@@hmdvii7018 Feminism Sales good today😉
Nobody wants to play that elf woman. I dont think anyone is ever going to like her with her character and personally
@@KevinIsAMilitaryGenius it will called. cuckholds of thotdor, elf bitch strikes again. Put a bunch of soylet wojaks on the cover just to drive home how retarded that would be
It amazes me that Talion is still kind throughout decades of war, he misses the friend who betrayed him, defended the fortresses whilst avoiding temptation and helps others even if they are his enemy. I respect that Eltariel helped Talion went back home as a show of respect but I found it baffling that she is loyal to the bright lord and didn't give the ring to Talion because she disliked the bright lord also could of saved his life and helped middle-earth have the counterbalance for longer, unless the bright lord copied the dark lord's influence.
That reminds me of a time I fast travelled and he said he missed celebrimbor and that no one should fight alone :(
The DLC made Talion’s sacrifice in vain. And I’m convinced the developers don’t at all care about him they just threw him away for some random incredibly cheap character. and a hated traitor. what a poor decision
I think they wanted to show, he had no wish to continue. And never seek the ring witch would restore him. And decided to pass it on to another
@@iramosv7al415 what do you mean? I also don’t really understand what the canon ending would be, because the true ending shows Talion finally succumbing to the influence of Isildur’s Ring, and then he joins the others on the hunt for Frodo. This shows Eltariel ending the Shadow Wars, which I don’t like as much.
Let's be real if this was an actual fight talion would have destroyed her without breaking a sweat and he would have 2rings
He pretty much does beat her with ez...
nah he would only have one, the ring hadnt overcome him yet he could and would have swapped them
It would be so cool if the talion fights changed based on how you played the base game such as the skills you unlocked or the ones you used most often if you’ve unlocked them all.
That means you can easily gimp the fight then
If only you could reverse the characters in this fight
7:53 - 8:06 Tailon got so Badass
I agree. His style was like of that Assasin's Creed.
He didnt had to talk lmao
@@martmandred9182 that's funny considering that the first game (shadow of Mordor) got reported multiple times for taking assets and animation straight out of assassin's Creed and the person who reported these was a person who worked assassin's Creed
I don’t know if it’s just the quality of the mics they have but god damn she is so outmatched by Troy baker in this.
Wait troy baker voices talion
Poultry-lover666 yeah man
Eltariel voice is find, but her decision makes me hate her more and more until the end of the game.
Eltariel's problem is not her voice, it's the script. It makes her rather despicable.
Talion is better
I haven't played this dlc but if Talion is like Vergil im impressed. I actually got shivers when Talion used and execution move on her.
Probably the only time I was happy to win the fight, but lose in a cutscene.
Talion:"I don't fear the darkside as you do Eltariel. I ve brought peace, freedom, justice and security to my new empire. "
Eltariel: "Your new Empire? Talion, Isildur's Ring is evil!"
@@miguelcondadoolivar5149from my point of you, you are evil!
@@miguelcondadoolivar5149from my point of view Celebrimore is evil!
I recently beat the game for the first time and instead of playing the DLC (because the main game was so time-consuming that I need a break) I decided to look up DLC clips. That said, seeing this boss fight...
I kinda want Eltarial to fall into Mount Doom. That infuriating little backstabber.
Eltariel:You serve Sauron. Dark Talion and Me:I/He serve/serves Middle-Earth!
I get ya😂( Me too)
If i been ther to control talion , She never defeat him
I never understood why he never tried to get his ring back
Elf-Bitch: I will not dominate these Orcs
Talion: Just like you won’t dominate Sauron?
The funny thing is, eltariel can't even win. The cutscene plays when talion is low, and he could very easily kill her, or dominate her there.
long live talion
Vanilla game
Talon Defends for decades
DLC
She comes for the ring and destroys decades of work
U WOT M8?!
I wanted to be playing as talion during this boss fight
So epic I love this game can't wait to beat the game n start this dlc
Does anyone know what iteration of The Gravewalker plays during this fight. It sounds awesome.
I think the coolest thing about these fights is that he doesn’t use anything you cant get in game.
The vault leap, hammer strikes, execution, quick dagger throws, and blasts is all stuff you can get and use.
No way was she going to last against talion like..... Come on.
Make a full cinematic on this dlc
Man I wish we were playing as Talion fk celimbrimbor
Love Shadow of Mordor theme
We all know talion would fucking annihilate her instantly
......why the hell did they keep her alive all u want to do is STRANGLE HER after she betrays u....I mean come on theres gotta be SOME karma
2:37 Since when? SINCE WHEN?
Haha
I failed this fight on purpose, considered it canon, and moved onto baranors dlc
Absolutely amazing.
Wish he wore the badass ringwraith armor even in the cutscenes.
4:22 You should’ve talion, you’ve disappointed so many people
I agree but. I suppose he didn’t let his emotions control him
He is such a pure man
7:40 I prefer that orc over eltariel

Talion the best
Eltariel Blade of Galadriel I hate ur character
@@Mawhinz yea
They could have made the AI much harder to beat
Eltariels outfit looks like the Nightingale armor from Skyrim.
JERMALL SMITH ikr
Lmao true.
The facts this kid actually made it to this boss fight is just insane bro would die to ratbag
I love how they scripted the end with Tallon owning her
3:59: Alright you little shit, i'm done playing games with you now.
Eltariel came across as very prideful (making snap judgements about Talion), power hungry (trying to kill Talion for Calebrimbor's ring) and hubristic (falling for the same disarming move that severed Sauron's ring finger). I really disliked her, I would have preferred if Lithariel was given Galadriel's paladin magic instead.
Lithariel would have done her best to help Talion in order to repay him for all that he did in the first game. She'd probably go as far as to give him the New Ring, if she knew about it.
all the dead uruks at the start.. couldn't talion ressurect them??
Why wouldn’t she quickly cut off isulders ring and put talions ring back on talions hand
The Entity doesnt work. Only people like sauron can do that (sauron also let isildur steal his ring intentionaly since you can see when eltariel aaves you from the witch king she cuts off his arm but it just grows back due to the ring much like eltariels fingers)
@@xcyanidegamerx4402Remember Sauron still feared Isildur's blade. That sword's magic, along with the power of the king's lineage, truly harmed Sauron.
if she would have broken Sarons hold on him by dominating thereby removing the ring of Isildur. she could have saved him by giving him the new ring and undoing her part of the betrayal in a way. She had the power to do so, in a way she betrayed him twice just by leaving him to his fate.
"BOOM" One of the saddest deaths in orc history
I'll have no pointy ear outsmarting me
2024 and still think this should not have been the ending for the dlc
I wouldn’t trust Eltariel to even keep watch of a small band of Uruks
Year 2 of wishing eltariel never existed
Did she stay by his side for 60 years? Directly against the orders of Galadriel?
Talion is a selfless hero
We need the 3rd game to be us against celebrimdor , it has to happen.
A game where you play as a nazgul would be awesome
If talion puts his ring back will he be like uncorrupted or still slave to Lord of mordor?
He might die but as a human since he almost bled to death when Elthariel put Celebrimbor’s ring saved by Shelob
as piccolo repeatedly said to gohan...DODGE!!!
I mean at this point she could give the ring to Talion so he will not turn to Nazgul. She doesn't need the ring but Talion does. What's the point? Stupid devs.
Talion would genuinely body Eltariel. The amount of skills he has in Shadow of War is incomparable
Why are we/they keep fighting?
So talion can use all the powers of the Nazgûl, not just isildurs power.
Is that true?
He gets full on necromancy in the base game. And, with Isildur's mask, he can even summon wights.
The DLC made Talion’s sacrifice in vain. And I’m convinced the developers don’t at all care about him they just threw him away for some random incredibly cheap character. and a hated traitor. what a poor decision
Talion should of taken calebrinbors ring
back
Can't even begin to describe how much I hate Eltariel
they really had to do talion that dirty
the only redeeming thing about that stupid knife eared, backstabbing elf is she at the very least heard talion when he said "Please. dont let me die in this cursed land"
i also like how talion casually mentions he defeated the witch king "after the witch kings fall an attack commenced against multiple fortresses"
Talion should have demanded his ring back! No fall to the Nazgul! Problem solved!
He is selfless, he accepts his fate
Im getting zeke vibes from infamous 2
The amount of rolling and flipping thats happening is just hurtful
Imagine if Fallon was pulled from you or save file
I really don't want this elf girl to win she has no right to win
Joel vs Abby
Middle Earth Edition
If she want the ring then why not switch with him then
I still want talion alive 💀😭
Would of never looked at this game again if Eltariel actually won
They really trying to set her up as the next main character.
you were my brother Talion, you were supposed to destroy the darkness not join them
He fought until he couldn't
i swear talion reminds me of darth vader so much
I hate her for siding with Celery Bimbo against my nigga and leaving him to die.
Why is she the hero again? She betrayed Talion and killed him, making him become vulnerable to Isildor’s ring resulting in his eventual apotheosis into a full blown Nazgûl. She damned him to an avoidable and horrible fate because of her selfishness and arrogance yet HE’S the bad guy? Enough with this poisonous trend of framing villainous characteristics as positive
Lol I intentionally got beaten.
While I did enjoy seeing Talion and his personal battle against Sauron, this DLC still irritated me because I can’t stand Eltariel and her overblown superiority complex, I get that that is a big part of Elven personalities in this universe, but come on, she’s talking a guy literally told death to fuck off and let him keep doing his job and that’s after the betrayals and losing his family, I’d say that he’s earned some kindness
Why didn't she just give him celembrimbors (i probaby butchered his name) ring and did something else the one ring and talion would have lived and not been evil bruh moment
