All these people commenting EX FOR A REASON or something along that vein seem to miss that there will always be human error and it’s not a black and white world we live in...I think that while there is a great divide between what we want to happen and reality, we need to understand that we can always evolve and mature with time...might not have been great for that season, but I don’t think you should make it a rule to avoid the idea completely.

This was me and my ex 10 years ago. We had kids and was broken up for about 3 years. We was on and off throughout our relationship. My mom sat us down one day after she saw us flirting with each other and said "just f*** already but first go to this marriage counseler". Been married for 7 years in Feb. We will be celebrating it with a maintenance retreat.

Why would you get back with someone when all u see wen u look at them is that moment you both hurt each other. Ppl could change and more fitted for each over time but I don’t believe you should get back with someone u hurt or was hurt by. Everything happens for a reason
