I have a similar upbringing. Though my mother hasn’t kicked me out the house at 30 years old, there’s never been any support. Ended up pregnant & it hit me so hard that I just been running from that responsibility. Now that I’m aware of why it happened, slowly trying to be present in my daughter’s life. I know it’s not the same. But I couldn’t feel sorry for myself enough & get myself out of it at the same time. It’s hard still, but I’m finding the strength.
