The Lost City - Cover by the Virtual Shadows Tribute

This is one of our last production, as unfortunately our excellent bassist Christian Pradalié has decided to stop, after we have realised 2 complete CDs with BTs. I will try to continue to record some other videos on these V.S.T BTs however.
By the way, if a good bassist is interested to contribute, he can send me a personal message here.
Just note that our niche is to reproduce original tunes at best. So no personal versions. This is more or less mandatory, as remote work implies to work with a model. Also, fair skills in computing, recording software and all that stuff are required, as all the activity is based on audio file exchanges. Video skills appreciated (we miss this...).
Last: this is just for glory and not paid ! LoL...

Hi Christian and the Virtual Shadows tribute - that was an Excellent recording, sounded just like the Shads original. Tone and playing spot on!! Did you use a De-Armond pedal? Sorry to hear your Bass player is stopping - I'm sure you'll find someone to carry on the good music in time.

Indeed, it is a DEARMOND effect, not a volume effect. This is also emulated by VST effects. Christian

Thanks for comments.
For the DeArmond effect, I am using my usual VST system. Here I have employed a variable narrow band pass filter coupled to a gain control. Both plugins being controled by a midi pedal. It's a pity we live so far. You would be stunned by the flexibility of this VST system. With a bit of experience, it allows to reproduce quite accurately practically any sound. Not only Shadows.

About 40 people are now using my VST system in France. I made this solution public and it can be freely downloaded from our forum "fandesshadows.xooit.fr" to registered members (this is free too...).
Unfortunately all that stuff is in french, and extending its distribution would imply to translate all that in English and tremendous user support effort. So I am a bit reluctant to do it.
