Crofty before lights out and away we go
why can we not have the seasons like this hopefully next year will be the same
Nice editing. Crofty didn't realise Hamilton and Vettel passed Glock and Hamilton was up to 5th until after Hamilton crossed the line. It was very amusing to listen. 😜
James Allen and Martin Brundle on ITV called it as soon as 2 laps before the end.
BBC using their radio commentary here because they have a ludicrous policy not to broadcast non-BBC employees, which means they couldn’t use ITV’s commentary.
2008 was certainly an awesome year, even though I wasn't watching F1 during then.
Such an amazing season, genuine 4 way title shoot out at one stage. Shame that BMW stopped developing the car and Kimi made too many mistakes.
It's crazy that people say Hamilton wasn't deserving because of a few costly DNF's / technical issues for Massa - they both had their fair share of bad luck during the season and Massa was absolutely shocking in the wet at Silverstone and Monaco, which cost him a heap of points.
Also Hamilton was robbed of the win at Spa and screwed over by Massa in Japan. Plenty of opportunities missed by both drivers during the season.
Either driver would have been equally deserving of the title that year.
Exactly the points at the end of the year do not lie
Hamilton more than often created his own problems in 2008 that was the difference
F1 2008 was so good
God its staggering looking back how many times Lewis, Felipe and Kimi made mistakes this season, id put this season down as the best season looking back, it really had it all didn't it
Kubica💔
i miss this f1 so much
That was best f1 season was so into it back then
2003/2007.
Kimi fastest driver this century.
greatest title decision ever. There were no Safety Cars that race, it just happened like that, as opposed to Abu Dhabi 2021 that the final was carefully crafted for a winner takes it all in the final lap.
the 2021 season was so good that people dont even believe their own eyes lol. There's a reason why i treasure that season with all my heart, simply unmatched. 2008 was fucking great but, be real, there's levels to this
@@thegrandplay1780 as i said, i like 2008 better because it all felt natural. 2021 only happened because of numerous interventions to take the decision to the last lap of the last race.
There's a reason this only happened once in more than 70 seasons, Liberty wanted it this way.
Their thing is entertainment 1st, sports 2nd.
@@thegrandplay1780 You treasure that season with all your heart because you're a Verstappen fanboy. Otherwise, no neutral fan (like me) enjoyed the decision, because it showed that, if they wanted, Liberty and FIA could do anything in order to deliver a show with no regards whatsoever to the rules. Take your fanboy glasses out and see it as it is.
Is that glock?
Felipe Massa the champions of the World 2008
Nop, Hamilton is :)
And if Ferrari didn't sabotage Kimi, Kimi would have easily won the title.
Massa - the Sucker of all times. The Fuel master. Asian Clown 2008.
