Knew the guy was convicted of murder, so it's reasonable that he was a toxic person generally. I guess I love the music he produced that it's hard to think of him that way.

I always admired Phil Spector's genius. I've read Ronnie Spector's book Be My Baby and Spector's biography and they're far apart on a lot of things. I think she just used Phil to become a star. The other wannabe that Phil supposedly killed was downstairs alone and Phil was upstairs. She apparently found the gun and Phil was trying to get it away from her. It was found under her chair. The Chauffeur was the only witness. Phil's fingerprints were on the gun but he had no residue on his clothes..The gun probably went off accidentally..The bio movie will be one sided since Phil is dead.

@@icyy1024 Yes, he was a talented but mentally challenged genius. Whatever he said to Ronnie Spector is her side of the story. But, the shooting is a different story. Phil was upstairs taking a shower when the gun went off. He just said " I think I killed somebody". For all we know, the chauffeur might have done it. Phil's antics in court is what got him changed with murder and I believe he didn't even comprehend what was going on. He just knew he was in the limelight again. He's dead so the truth will never be known. He wasn't actually put in prison but committed to an asylum for his own safety. Robert Blake went through the same thing in a way. Nobody has ever proved that he shot the woman. She had many enemies. So both cases are closed but open at the same time.

the difference is for what he did to ronnie and the kids, he deserves to get put in prison for that either way, im sure ronnie would take him to court if phil wasnt hunting for her, either way phil was a sick man @@wesleycook7687
