The long barrel is bugged where it provides increased numerical range, but doesn't actually increase the distance of your flame. I personally run it with the standard nozzle because the vaporization nozzle just completely cripples the reach.
I have had mixed issues with this, sometimes it works fine and sometimes it doesn't. There is a annoying fix to this and that is to remove the mods, log out and then apply the vaporisation nozzle and then the long barrel. This resets the range but you do need to do this every time on log out/in etc

Hello, I’m struggling to find a build for a plasma rifle/ plasma flamer that doesn’t use PA. If I copied this build but changed the heavy gunner perks to the plasma related ones would that be okay?
I can't see why not but it's worth having a go. Have you tried using the Nukes and Dragons website for their FO76 character builder? This might be super useful and worth having a go with.
The short barrel gives more condition, and the long barrel is still bugged. The short nozzle, since pure damage is inferior to condition. Napalm & heavy tank.
yeah, they seemed to fix the barrel bug and then broke it again! lol I don't find the condition to be an issue tbh and you get so many free repair kits it's never an issue to fix. I guess each to their own really but as I said this was just meant as a real basic guide to get a new player a decent flamer but appreciate the comment 🙂

What is the site to check prices for your store. I just started playing again for tge 1st time since the release of the game? Ive been selling for the price the game recommends, but it sometimes feels like the suggested price is too much.

Weird question but when starting a new character is it best to start at 20 or level 1 if you’ve played before but just looking to get back into the game ? If the level 20 which starting one would anyone suggest ?
Hey, it's not an odd question at all and in fact it's a video I am working on atm. The main choice here for a returning player is the time saving of the 1st 20 levels with a load of perk cards already. As you can now completely respec your build at level 25 for free anyway, it doesn't really matter that the level 20 builds are not perfect. If you are a new player I would prob recommend starting at level 2 just so that you can get used to the game and experience the enemies levelling with you. If you choose the level 20 option, I would prob recommend the shotgunner. You get a decent build and shotguns also use less ammo than you get back so you'll not have to worry about running out. You also get the shotgun plan which will enable you to early on make a load of level one weapons to scrap to learn the mods so that you have an easier time with a better weapon. You also get a rifle with the build so you will be able to still have a ranged combat option too but you won't get the plan for this right off the bat.
Honestly, that is the best stats imo for a vampire flamer so congrats for that!! Now apply a paint/skin quick so you don't accidently scrap scrip or drop it!!
I got a question, how is your base damage more than my lvl 50 Flamer is it a perk card when crafting, is there rng when crafting, or is it your SPECIAL build that makes the base damage more?
It's partly the perk cards and special build inc legendary perk cards but also because I have a bloodied build and prob very low health at the time of recording this which will increase my damage by up to +95% the lower your health.
Now I just need to find the plan.....any suggestions where to look for it? I'll keep cruising the player vendors to see if they have it or a flamer for sale.

I knlw this build is 9 months old but is it still over now? Askkng as this is the only flamer build i can find that recent

I have a short vampire flamer but im gonna make it long barrel, vampire is op on the flamer, i would recomennd it

Awesome, the flamer is a fun weapon tbh but you'll want to keep a look out for a quad gatling plasma for the raid etc

.... best place is Watoga Train Station but Berkley station and two of the whitespring vendors also have it for sale :-)

Umm where to get plan,mod of vaporization nozzle and large tank?!.
Just make a load of the lowest level flamers and scrap them, this is how you learn the mods

Unsure why, I don't have anything special? I'll have to double check to see if any mods have been removed as that could be the case.
@@GoldenGek I think I found out. When I was customizing my holy fire it had 3/4, but when customizing a regular one i got 5/6

How are you getting 146 dmg? I have the same mods and I'M only at 96.
It will be my bloodied build and perk cards that are making up the extra damage etc
