.43 seconds into the video, and I'm already spotting the zonks, the fake air vents are one and the hood prop is coming up!! Come on Honda, do better! Awesome car no doubt, but do better.👍🏾🇺🇸
I wish in Seattle WA these were the prices. Because man they rack this up. The Type R Civic is a awesome machine. If I owned one though I would have to replace the racing track tires with something that would hold up more than 10,000 miles. All Honda needs to do is get rid of those fake grills front and back and they would really have a winner. As it is I'll give them a 9.5 out of 10. Great job Joe.
LOVE the Type R! Seriously, the owner of this car traded this in for what, a BMW? He is going to be regretting that decision a down the road when that BMW starts to break down and the resale of it plummets while the value of the Type R holds steady.
Got a 2019 Sonic grey last week for sticker in Texas. Loving it 😍 I guess if you contact literally every dealer out there you might manage to price match and get for sticker closeby but it's very hard for type r even when you say you have a quote but a few dealers did agree for sticker after negotiations for me while most of the others still have markup of atleast 4k. I heard 2020 will be announced after Thanksgiving and that they have tentative dates. Dealers are unwilling to budge even besides that
Almost got a CTR with this exact color but then it sold before I could even go see it. Found out one of the salesman bought it. But after few years the veloster would loose its value compare to the Type R
The Veloster is a great car but I think you will always have a little brother complex if you chose it over the civic
Austin couldn’t agree more! Knowing deep inside that the R is faster, better looking ect...
@@Tcho2100 Doesn't the Veloster have a 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty? 5 years down the road or 50,000 miles later you are only HALFWAY through the warranty with bumper to bumper coverage meaning if it breaks down the dealer will still fix it for free for another 5 years or 50,000 miles. If that does not mean holding its value than I don't know what does.
short answer. not in 2021 these markups are insane
.43 seconds into the video, and I'm already spotting the zonks, the fake air vents are one and the hood prop is coming up!! Come on Honda, do better! Awesome car no doubt, but do better.👍🏾🇺🇸
You have a very good eye!
My dream car right there. I will literally learn to drive stick just to be able to drive that beautiful machine one day
Damn that color 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
I wish in Seattle WA these were the prices. Because man they rack this up. I was looking at the accord, that caught my eye but I moved on from Honda’s long time ago but still have a special place in my heart for them. This is where I started. Now I own and bmw 335i and Audi A4 love my Audi because it’s a six speed.. it’s rare to find my model in a six speed.
Thanks for sharing that info.
I heard the chinese car needed a new engine after it beat the record
If that is the case it still goes down as their record and not Honda's.
Makes sense lol made in China
love the color but just can't get past the spoiler on these...
It's still my dream car 😍😍..
I am si glad that I could share it with you!
Yeah, I don't like the fake grills either.
I’m sure it was dogged out for at least 4k of those miles.
Unlike most other shit sports cars this one can take the dogging
keep doing your thing bro
Thanks ma!
No. Buy a 2018 Focus RS like I did 💪🏾
Remember HONDA motor best of the best
@@RR-nz2ve I'm just hating 😂 , I love the type R too, always been a SI lover
The LE is a great car!
@@Emadavid They are all great!
Type R ROCKS 🏎🏎🏎🏎
The car sounds like a leaf blower.
Te sound is terrible on this!
@@ericf5976 I take it you haven't seen one wih a quality exhaust. Sounds viscious, like an Evo.
>got his RS walked by a type r
LOVE the Type R! Seriously, the owner of this car traded this in for what, a BMW? He is going to be regretting that decision a down the road when that BMW starts to break down and the resale of it plummets while the value of the Type R holds steady.
I own a Civic Type R, and no one should be buying a Used Civic Type R at current market prices.
Thanks for sharing your thought on this one.
Y?
Dung Nguyen congrats 🎉
Tcho Laury why do you want to pay new MSRP for a used car that been enjoyed by the previous owner.

4:22 you almost zonked yourself with your one liners . Thanks for the videos by the way .
It sometimes happens! LOL
In the area I live in I just recently saw a 2018 type r with 5k miles going for 30,500 the price is getting more affordable at least in my area
Great review and nice driving!
I was clutching my seat during the drive. Impressive...I want one
That looks like a FUN ride!
Are there aftermarket mesh vents to get rid of those stupid waffle irons?
Joe, since you have owned both a Focus RS and a Civic Type R which one would you buy if you had to choose between the two?
What if they made an Accord Type R? Maybe like a 2.5 liter inline 4 turbo with a bonkers torque rating?
Got a 2019 Sonic grey last week for sticker in Texas. Loving it 😍 I guess if you contact literally every dealer out there you might manage to price match and get for sticker closeby but it's very hard for type r even when you say you have a quote but a few dealers did agree for sticker after negotiations for me while most of the others still have markup of atleast 4k. I heard 2020 will be announced after Thanksgiving and that they have tentative dates. Dealers are unwilling to budge even besides that
Amal J how much you put for down payment? I’m really tryna get one too 💯😩
Not with the current used car prices..
Almost got a CTR with this exact color but then it sold before I could even go see it. Found out one of the salesman bought it. It was funny because a color like this should've sold as soon as they got it but it sat on the showroom floor for 5 months. Just one more month and it could've been mine but oh well.
