Too many boss guides have people rocking bis gear while trying to explain boss mechanics during a pb killtime. This is extremely informative while presented at a relaxed pace. 👍
Actually one of the reasons why I started making these kinds of videos. Most guides are with unachievable gear for low levels and Irons which is massively demotivating! Thank you for the kind words

Its so refreshing to see a boss guide that doesnt have 100m in gear that calmly and slowly explains the mechanics in the fight. TY so much!
Glad you found the guide useful man! I had to figure out a lot of the mechanics myself (through a lot of trial and error) and with the gear I have available so I'd thought I'd share my scuffed ways like a budget yoda 😂
The Vorkath fight during the quest is an extremely weakened version of the actual boss. Just a heads up if you attempt it after the quest it will not be the same difficulty.

Great video as always! Another tip to get there easier and quicker is to tele to Lunar Isle > Jump on the boat to Rellekka > Jump on the boat to Vork :)
Thanks man! That's a decent tip, could even use the house tele redirects if you don't want to change your PoH location, much that's a much quicker path
@@SmithyTV I know I'm 5 months late, but what I did was make a lunar portal in my poh. I'd then talk to the banker without my seal so they'd kick me back to where the boat to Vorkath is ^_^. Also, when you're walking out the acid or even if you're fast enough with the little monster spawn thingy... You could turn your prayer off to save just a tiny bit of prayer here and there and maybe save you time on getting more pots later on. :)
Great video Smithy! The only thing I would add is that his 2 special attacks, acid and the white phase happen after he attacks you 6 times so it’s not random, and it rotates so you always know when and what to expect after you see which special he does first. Ex. (6 attacks -> acid 6 attacks -> white 6 attacks -> acid ect) but other than that you covered everything really well :)

You’re more than welcome dude! With all my guides I try and use realistic setups for those learning (as that’s all I have myself haha), I was in the same boat when learning Vorkath myself
You can just use void and salve no need dragonbane
DOing the quest now and just 1 shot it thanks man. I even had slightly worse setup since I am just a lowly ironman.

Put a lunar isle teleport in your poh. After restocking at the bank stall at the far right. Tall to the other 2 bank people and they will kick you off lunar isle and u will appear in relikia.

I've always been bad at pvm in RS these guides are super helpful watching a maxed player do it in BIS gear doesn't help me because I am not that I don't have max stats or BIS your guides have shown me that even with scuffed gear it's totally possible to kill these bosses
Glad you find them useful man, I try and make my content as accessible as possible in the most scuffed ways that still gets you through haha, when I came back to the game a couple years ago all the guides out there were for high level players which isn't that useful for those learning

great guide man, im about 15 kills deep, wanted so see if i could be doing something different or keep it going the same way. i have noticed a difference in even regular void vs my blessed d hide set, but not a lot. however over all great guide man, really enjoyed the calm, cool and collected video, plus a great bit of humor is always nice when were awaiting our impending death lmao

Really useful video thanks. Just wanna do DS2 for the first time and guides with max gear aren't helping since I'm on an ironman :D The last one said 'don't bother if you don't have a blowpipe' so I said thanks mate. I have died 5 times to the post quest vorkath. Running blessed d'hide with rigour and protect range, 91 range, and 75 def, Dragon crossbow with antifire shield with extended super antifire. He just keeps melting me. I was able to telly out this time, but I am constantly on the ropes healing instead of focusing on the attacks and dealing damage. I just can't seem to figure out what to do. Heck, I even got galvec on my 3rd try and 2nd try on vorkath in the quest.
75 def is doable but a little more will make your life a lot easier

what about melee thou? i dont have a lance but my melee stats are waaay better than my range, should i use zammy hasta and dragonfire shield and whatnot maybe guthans? or is melee really that bad at vorkath?
I haven’t even considered melee at vorkath yet to be perfectly honest. Could try with the hasta, but doesn’t have the dragon damage boost like the Lance. Worth giving a try though
I noticed the rage update seems to have wrecked void. I used to be able to kill vorkath in like 2-3 mins now it’s taking me like 4 or even 4+. Not sure why void feels like it sucks now
I just find it's like wearing paper and I hit harder way more often with normal setups! Glad it's not just me noticing a shift haha
@@SmithyTV The blowpipe + void combo against high defense targets was hit the worst. Sad cause I just worked to get full void elite!
Yeah it is a shame, need those high cost darts for it to still hit well! I recently went and got it too, I guess woooo collection log 😂

If rune pouch can only hold 3 different runes, then where’s your 4th rune at? You said crumble undead, teleport to house, teleport to Camelot. That’s chaos runes, air runes, earth runes, and law runes. What am I missing?
I use dust runes, they're a combination of air and earth runes

@@SmithyTV i would move house to rellekka and use house tele to get to vorkath. And also 2 dose extended super antifire is what you want for antifire. Also range pot would be nice too. But other than that very good :)
@@SmithyTV i really liked that acid phase walk. Very simple. Most people try to walk around vorkath and die because of that. :)
@@SmithyTV or i guess one dose extended super antifire is fine too if you only do one kill trips :) but it's definitely worth it. Less food and time wasted :)
