It is nice to see portable solar panels becoming tougher and more weatherproof, as well as being compatible with battery/generators from other companies. I am very impressed with how packable this panel is. Thank you for showing us how this works.
I think these are like the uni-solar roll out stick down panels. they are supper rugged. I bought 6 of them used, still stuck to some kind of flat roofing. The person rolled them up wrong and wrinkled the panels pretty bad. full of micro cracks and some separation. Rolled them out on the lawn to flatten out and they did. they were on a roof for about ten years and right on the ground for the last 5 yeares and they still put out the watts they should. He is right about working in all levels of light. if it is a full moon, it shows voltage.
This flat solar panel is SO awesome, I didn't think something like this existed. I would appreciate it if you could do an entry (101) tutorial on how to mount it on a car roof without it flying away while driving, and how it connects to the battery charger to be charged. Thank you for your consideration.
Thanks for watching! I am planning a video soon on this very thing. I will attach the panel to my trailer, my charge controller and battery for an off grid build. Stay tuned my friend👊
@@Woodswalker1965: Thanks Woods, I was going to ask the same question. Looking forward to seeing your mounting ideas. One question not addressed... hail is a real concern for roof panels... what does Bouge say about hail impact resistance? Covered under warranty?
Very cool solar panel. We did a lot of camping in a tent trailer when the kids were young and we had a couple of Can Tire glass panels. These would be way better and if we get back into trailer camping (highly likely) this is just the thing I would want. Great review, you mad scientist!
Im just learning about solar systems and this is 🤬🤬🤬🤬ING Insane 98% covered and still producing power !! If I did not see this video and was just told my answer would nope not gonna believe it, not a snowball chance in friggin hell ! But I seen the video and this is friggin insane ! Not one of the other videos show this kind of test! Thank you and now you have made a firm believer of this product but my question is how will this flexible panel hold up to minus 30 Celsius and colder winters in Canada ? Cause I'm doing tiny house and rv rebuild and this would be great for it BUT where we are going the average coldness is between minus 20 to minus 30 degrees celcius
That’s a pretty sweet panel. I recently purchased a Bodega TAW59 fridge & a Bluetti AC70P power station so someday I will get a panel. Just getting new windows & doors today so no playtime cash left for me 😂
Good question. Given the design of the panel it may not be too detrimental. I would suggest contacting BougeRV with this question. Thanks for watching.

@@billderinbaja3883 Actually they will protect your roof from hail damage. These things are tough.

It’s nice to mix things up sometimes, a bit of backcountry and a bit of front country!😀
That was a pretty cool demo!
Thanks for watching!👍

-40c to +85c are the operating limits my friend. Thanks for watching and all the best for your build!
That’s a pretty hefty discount…looks like a great product
It’s a great discount for sure, thanks for watching 👍

Really nice panel. Thanks for sharing Wade. Hope you enjoy your day. 🇺🇲🌲🔥🔪
You as well my friend👊
Am considering getting this exact 200 watt Bouge, do you think i could cut out a 2x2 inch notch out of one of the corners ( to clear a roof vent ) ?
Good question. Given the design of the panel it may not be too detrimental. I would suggest contacting BougeRV with this question. Thanks for watching.
Is it scratch resistant?
It’s very resistant to damage and shade.
Another great review my friend,
thanks for sharing and take care Buddy…👍🏻
Thanks for watching, see you soon
Nice panel, but it will still ruin a RV roof if mounted flat with no airflow beneath it.
Thanks for watching, much appreciated!👍
Very cool
Hey buddy, take care👍
600 a panel. 😮
Yup, bit of a shocker I know. Other flexible panels don’t last as long as a CIGS panel though. Thanks for watching 👍
It is very expensive for little energy.
It is expensive but sometimes the latest and best tech is expensive. It may not be worth it for everyone. Thanks for watching!
