The videos with Jacobi in them lately have been very heart warming. He is happy, talking and growing up to be a handsome young man. And speaking of hamsome, Houston.has become very comfortable in front of the camera. I am really enjoying watching both of them as they mature and share their life journeys with us. Oh my goodness, that looks like so much fun!! When I was a young girl my sisters and I would catch crawfish with a piece of bacon, string tied to a pole and a safety pin to hold the bacon and slowly lift them out of the water. It is so nice seeing these 2 young kids foster their relationship outdoors like when I was younger. TVs in the bedrooms and video games. Being out in nature, no better way to build the strongest friendships. They compliment each other.

My Dad took me fishing when I was growing up,many times. On a pond that had 4 lb blue gill and crappie. I ran out of bait , and dad was on the other side of the pond. I figured out that red ,unripe, black berries, was a great bait. I went to go pick some more berries and while I was standing there a water moccasin slithered between my feet. I almost needed a clean pair of shorts!!!

Houston’s innocence in saying “do ur best” touched my heart.
When I was a child, we vacationed on the north shore of Lake Michigan near Menominee, Michigan. We would hand pick crayfish till we had about 50-60 then my father would boil them. We ate till we were full. Fond memories.
