On a pond that had 4 lb blue gill and crappie. I ran out of bait , and dad was on the other side of the pond. I figured out that red ,unripe, black berries, was a great bait. I went to go pick some more berries and while I was standing there a water moccasin slithered between my feet. I almost needed a clean pair of shorts!!! Have fun..!!!!
It is so nice seeing these 2 young kids foster their relationship outdoors like when I was younger. TVs in the bedrooms and video games. Being out in nature, no better way to build the strongest friendships. They compliment each other.

When I was a young girl my sisters and I would catch crawfish with a piece of bacon, string tied to a pole and a safety pin to hold the bacon and slowly lift them out of the water. I so love the videos, Daniel, with you and the boys at the creek. Reminds me of my childhood at sleep away camp. I grew up in Jersey city NJ. The concrete jungle as they say, no opportunities to experience much of nature. When i grew up and had a family i made it a point to go to the state forests near us to make sure my children had the opportunity to experience as much as we could. Love to you and yours ✌❤
I loved watching the creek fun. It reminded me of growing up and playing in the various creek spots flowing through the family homestead (circa 1850). I wish more kids got to get so close to the outdoors. Oh, and when we would actually get enough crawdads to make a meal we would fry them. We were unaware of boiling them ... whole no less.

it's so nice to see the way i was raised and the way we cook things slowly spreading out to the world im a proud Cajun and i believe those not from Louisiana deserve to have at least 1 crawfish boil in there life it's just so delicious and it makes a way for all friends and family to gather and just have a great time. Love this so much!!!! I’m from South Louisiana and we use chicken necks or turkey necks to bait our crawfish traps.We do the same for crabs but for crabs the stinkier the better. So we leave them outside for a day or two then bait the traps. Thanks for always sharing fantastic videos!!!!
