Isle of Man TT Diary part 2: let’s go racing! Superbike & supersport race 1

- We’ve finished practice week and got the first 2 races of TT 2024 under our belt.
Again it’s not been smooth sailing… we lost some sessions this week due to weather and other things which particularly hurts me as I just need more track time, but that’s all part of racing here!
Im making good progress regardless and have already set a new PB on both my FHo bikes so I’m looking forward to the rest of race week now.

Yo not surprised the chain could not hold... man was pushing hard! Theres a clip of JB pushing so hard he used the whole road, jumped the curb and a bit of the footpath to make his turn

The Superbike so was gutted not to be in yesterday’s race.

Put a chain trough both upper and lower crankcases on my 71 CB750 when I was a kid doing a wheelie trying to impress a chick. Hope that didn't eat your motor.
Why did the Chain break ?. It's all supposed to be pukka gear on these bikes .
It’s the course itself that causes these things to happen. No circuit in the world on any bike could reproduce the strain and stresses that a lap of the TT puts the bikes through. There are longer races but nothing else is as demanding on the bikes.
