MD only back 15 seconds after standing there for around 50 seconds.....what a run

He lost 1 minute 5 seconds in the first split of the fifth lap compared with the third lap. Both pit laps. Todd lost 20 seconds on fifth lap compared with third lap. Considering Todd started 20 seconds later and was 25 seconds behind at the pits. I'm sure Dunlop lost 1 minute 5 seconds
McGuinness and Rutter are 52 years old. Wow, that's incredible!
Dunlop was so unlucky. Breaks my heart to watch this. Hope to see him win again this year

The guy who fitted his visor messed up big time. I hope they find there was a technical fault with it because if it was simple human error the mechanic is going to feel like topping himself.

Not his fault. But certainly not very professional from his crew. Same for Todd. Races thrown away due to amateurial mistakes.

Man a bad visor and hickman somehow brings it back in last laps. Dunlop deserved the big bike win, but man that pass on Dean whoooo . I gotta see some onboards

I love Davey’s style and the way he sweeps into Ramsey hairpin. He rode really well and was unlucky with his bike trouble and would definitely of been victorious in this race without the mishap

So I came to the channel, kept phone in portrait / upright.... small thumbnail. ..clicked videos and managed not to realise who is in the picture 👍🤣
I think you have to understand that people are paying to view the action, on youtube you are getting highlights for free. They do the thumbnail on purpose i think. To basically say if you want the best of the action or to see who wins as it happens, you need to pay. They do the same with football and combat sports. You are saving a load of money and time by watching the video highlights for free on youtube, i do not understand how you can complain.

@@foylad4862 Not really valid. Match of the Day doesn't spoil the results of games shown live on Sky earlier in the day to paying customers. No, this is just being inconsiderate.
I had the pleasure of meeting peter last week at the tt racing. Very sincere and considerate to his guests and fellow bikers and the sport. A memorable evening with Peter explaining the key principles to racing. I will be back for the 2025 tt. Appreciated
I've been to TT but the speed always surprises me. The riders must have super human eyesight and be fearless!

Another epic race from start to finish I feel sorry for Dunlop and Todd as we know in racing it can be won and lost in the pit lane this is exactly what happened hickey on a big bike is like Valentino Rossi in the early 2000s unstoppable but for me ride of the race has to go to Mr. mcGuinness 52yo and still getting top 10 salute you sir

Man if you stay in shape when you're in your fifties and even sixties you can still go well. Michael Rutter, Roger Reiman (RIP) are a couple more fast old guys. I was still hauling ass at age sixty until a DVT slowed me way down. Got a right leg that doesn't work kinda like Mick Doohan.

Contender for Instant Classic Race of the year nominate. Hickman beats Former champion Harrison by 8.0100 of a second at the line. DAMN what a finish that might be best race of 2024 version of the TT. Side by side racing is the best thing to entertain especially if it's finding the leader before he crosses the checkered flag first after start 10 second head start.😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I met Michael Dunlop at Mallory park, really nice down to earth guy. I hope he wins the big one at the end of the week. I would rather Dean Harrison win than Hickman. Love watching dean Harrison around Scarborough Oliver's mount. Leaves every one standing. Keep safe all riders.

Racing can be so cruel at times. You give everything to win and a small error denies your win. Two riders with small faults and a whole race is changed. To risk so much and to not win.
1500 turns! It sure is physically taxing not to mention mentally. These riders are true athletes. Congrats to Peter Hickman for equaling Mike Hailwoods record. It's only a matter of time for Michael Dunlop and we may well see him take that record by end of the week.
I consider myself very lucky to be contemporary with these legends of motorcycling, thank you legends

god, as i was watching the pitstop i had just had a thought what could go wrong at tt pitstops and a visor was my number one guess... what a pity for Dunlop!

If it weren't for the problem with the visor, Dunlop would have won with almost 1 minute of advantage over Todd (2nd without the pit problem) and Hickman (3rd consequently)...
Very sad for Dunlop.

Last wednesday i applied for becoming an isle of man racer.
The scout/recruiter asked me if i was batshit crazy. I said no.
He said then you can not race here.
So yeah thats that.

Does anybody know why the Road documentary is always getting taken down? I live in Canada and just found it on RUclips and after two weeks it’s gone of again saying unavailable.
It’s a shame that racers times are affected by pit stops, the race results should come down to skill alone and nothing else.

If Pete was racing the tt since 2007 like dunlop he would have surpassed ALL dunlops by a country mile by now and it wouldn't be close,he still might!

@@inb4230 I was laughing because Joey Dunlop is the king of the mountain. Most riders have done interviews saying so, Hickman would say so too. Hats off to anyone who races the tt.

Hicky knows he was gifted a win, just as Harrison was a few years ago when Hicky's BMW was overheating.. giving Harrison a win.. Michael had this in the bag... if not for an epic blunder on the part of his shield tech... I mean Epic.. that said HUGE KUDOS to Hickman.. not sure what is going on w/ his eyes. allergies, a reaction to something, but his eyes are near swollen shut and tearing.. how he finished so strong is a beyond all comprehension... a Gift for Hicky Harrison.. Todd.. they knew it, showed it with a rather subdued podium celebration...

It always make me cringe seeing them trying to change visors under pressure, I have the same Arai helmet and it is a pita to change, they would be better to do a helmet swap instead one less thing to go wrong.

Yep, fins on Honda Fireblade for a couple of years already. Covered, so less noticeable than some but the ZX10R seems to be the only Superbike without wings, more spoilers across the nose..
argghhhh...visor problem for dunlop...i think the old arai rx7 gp more better from new arai rx7x about visor...the old one no need to open the earlid when change the visor,but about quality the new rx7x more better
