- In this episode of DARPA’s podcast series, Voices from DARPA, join program manager Dev Palmer of the Agency’s Microsystems Technology Office as he talks about turning an early interest in the vacuum tubes of his guitar amplifiers into a career as an electrical engineer. His mission? To push electronic and electromagnetic technology along new frontiers that could lead to more capable radar, electronic warfare, and communications systems, and even to entirely new technologies. In his few years as a program manager, Palmer has scored a world record with the fastest linear amplifier ever made; opened the way to vastly increasing the power output of high-frequency circuits by developing next-generation, miniaturized vacuum electronic devices; and pioneered novel approaches to integrating minuscule magnetic components into the already super-dense microcircuitry on chips. One more thing: with the time he spends commuting, Palmer has given some thought to what it would take to usher teleportation from the science fiction side to the reality side.
The "Voices from DARPA" podcast series offers a revealing and informative window on the minds of the Agency's program managers. In each episode, a program manager from one of DARPA’s six technical offices-Biological Technologies, Defense Sciences, Information Innovation, Microsystems Technology, Strategic Technology, and Tactical Technology-will discuss in informal and personal terms why they are at DARPA and what they are up to. The goal of "Voices from DARPA" is to share with listeners some of the institutional know-how, vision, process, and history that together make the “secret sauce” DARPA has been adding to the Nation’s innovation ecosystem for nearly 60 years. On another level, we at DARPA just wanted to share the pleasure we all have every day-in the elevator, in the halls, in our meeting rooms-as we learn from each other and swap ideas and strive to change what’s possible.

Hell yeah. I’m going thru remote neural monitoring for a year now! It’s unbelievable fun! Yes they torture they lie they work hard on me 24 hours a day. But I’ve come to enjoy the relationships I’ve made through them. Sure there’s times I’d like to be able to cut it off but I choose to look at it as I’m doing a service for others…… them!
good job. i was targeted around 2010-2013, cranked-up for about a 9mo period. i thought it was just a 'detail' of bad cops with nothing better to do. they finally quit, suddenly, after i failed to go-off on one of them, in what was obviously a last-ditch effort to really piss me off. i just though the whole thing was Stupid Cops, whadda laugh. but i learned what The System is all about.

@@ksandbergen It's a long story. I found out some things people are not supposed to. I was accessing abilities I never thought possible. Then one day I heard a sound. It wouldn't go away. I immediately got sick, could not access those abilities, felt pain in my bones, could not sleep for more than 2 hours. 9 months later, I left the best place I ever lived. Then I was ok. A couple years go by, and I start poking around in info that was once again, forbidden. Then I get a mild version of what I experienced in N Tahoe again in CO. It was not constant. I built a rudimentary Faraday cage around my bed so I could at least sleep. I started pointing fingers at who was behind it until one day it stopped. (very abridged version) My friend who stayed at the CO house for a while STILL has V2K. He was a moderator on a stream that helps addicts get clean. He accused a family of being behind the opiod epidemic, and he started hearing voices of three people in his head discussing him as though he wasn't there. He still deals with it to this day, and researches the science behind the whole thing.
I imagine whoever these bad people are ...they are on a military base somewhere or in the military industrial complex corporations....follow that lead

You guys wouldn't happen to be funding research into weapon systems which use pulsed beams of microwaves to leverage the photoacoustic effect to engage in remote neuromodulation would you? I asked IARPA but they stopped returning my calls. Please advise.
So in cohabitating frequencies at an extreme low frequency range which i mean steping down the herts and power consumption limiting the data, but being able pack more information in a smaller waveform. Which would be captured in a conventional sense, making to possible be transmitted at a lower herts range but still compiling more data in a smaller packet .
So in shoretproducing a quick pulse at lower range with increased data emission.
Making it possible to piggy back on a normal band without detection.

Great content. I've been interested in the terahertz spectrum for a few months now....looking for that next leap in communications. This makes it very understandable. My grandfather worked on vaccum tubes a long long time ago at ibm. Since you brought up magnetics in semiconductors.....i had been wondering about molybdenum based chips...id imagine you could use the piezoelectric effect for switching....idk.

So when is DARPA going to build an Oberon Brain hybrot neural network? Neurons can be grown in a living support system similar to a pyrsome allowing for a gravity fed nutrient drip. Individual pyrosome chains can be as long as 30 feet. The neurons in individual chains can be linked in a brainet and several chains can be linked to an individual computer to form a gestalt.

The legendary Faust has some excellent writings about forbidden knowledge that are worth reading. But I digress- there are several categories of forbidden knowledge then sub categories, & so forth, many cross catagories. But Faust highlights science astrology & divination and he is right, it's surefire way to end humanity.
We were created with perfect, bodies and minds plus we were immortal. We were told to go forth, be fruitful & multiply. Leave room for the food to grow & you shall never run out of resources. The earth was perfect. If we didn't make ourselves dependent on bullshit we have everything we ever need- every plant to make medicine, all manner of shelter water & food. Angels gave us this knowlefge. They were sent down to watch over us- they are known as the nephilim or watchers. They found people to be fascinating & beautiful. They took women as wives and they bore strange hybrid children, like giants who had a taste for human flesh & blood. And they violated all manner of human & beast (this is why you see Egypt half man, half bird goddess- they were strange & possessed some of the powers of angels, some human & animal traits. They were worshipped for their supernatural tricks like giving them an overly abundant harvest. They did not tell the story of their origins, they demanded the energy of worship, buildings erected for living, worship & burial. They insisted on blood sacrifice to bind them & appease the restless spirits of the fallen angels & their deceased siblings & cousins. If they didn't do as they were told they would destroy people and crops etc. They flaunted their supernatural abilities and the people worshipped them as gods of creation. They taught the people about coveting land for their own. They formed bands of warriors, slaves, and they taught them how to destroy with fire & war, and by forging weapons of torture for means of fear & control. They showed them how to adorn themselves with cosmetics, perfumed oils, and jewelry and dance to sensual music- the beginnings of lust, consumerism and greed. They taught spells, conjuring & all manner of divination for purposes of manipulation & control. Like astrology, light & dark magic, pagan ansestory worship & voodoo, Santeria and false enlightened middle eastern, vision quests, drugs. There's just no way around it- no God's before me.
The reason science is at the top- it peaked curiosity in people that cannot be quenched, to understand what us not necessary for man, for they will fancy themselves God & destroy everything. And I believe teleportation will become a reality. I see it as reassembling a snapshot of matter and the collection of memories which should be ordered in a fuzzy cache that could be drawn from a cloud of sorts as a potential direction to explore/experiment on. Science fiction is the precursor to science fact and DARPA is notorious for making the impossible a reality.
