- Short Quick video just to see if vaping will set off a smoke Detector and of course it did. Yes Vaping will set Smoke alarm. I have set off of many Smoke detectors in my 3.5 years of Vaping. In response to my Vapenut Video, here is the proof Vaping DOES set off Smoke Detectors, and hotel Smoke Alarms as well.
After I saw in the beginning nothing happened I was like damn I can vape in my room! And start vaping clouds, then as soon as it started beeping I got up in a panick and waved my arms everywhere to clear it up

Thank god I watched this. I’m in internal therapy and the staff warned us if we vape inside were expelled. Everybody was saying it will not set the alarm but I won’t try after watching this

yup it does set off smoke detectors , it just happened in my dorms room , the entire building detectors
I think as long as you're not cloud chasing or vaping close to the alarm it's alright. I've vaped in hotel rooms but away from the smoke alarm bc I know how much it sucks when someone else sets it off but never had it go off on me.
That moment when you hit the vape and it starts going straight towards the smoke alarm then you feel like Tom in Tom and Jerry doing everything to stop it 🤣

Tip for people with room layouts like his: if the smoke detector is outside of your door, open your window before opening your door to rot the smoke out

It scatters the lasers on the inside just like regular smoke does. Pretty annoying.
Ionization smoke alarms-- no
Photoelectric smoke alarms-- yes
Dual sensor smoke alarm-- yes-mostly if you blow directly into them
Ionisation will pick it up to. If you breath in them they go off have a try
Ionization definitely sets it off. Aerosol is very dense. Only kind of smoke alarm that isn’t set off my smoke detectors are ones that are purely heat detectors, which are archaic and shouldn’t be used anyway.

@Mike Kelleher Know the feeling. Someone else set it off in a hotel from smoking bc they had pretty sensitive alarms there. Set it off like 3 times in one night...once at like 2am. Loud and dramatic af lol
@@AdamGbl95 just had an incident at work where a guy took a hit inside our building and triggered a smoke detector. Luckily the detectors in that area are on a pre alarm system and the vapor had dissipated before it triggered it again and set the alarm off.

We have smoke detectors at school but vapes don't trigger them for some reason
Well, if you're vaping on a cloud burst, maybe, however, most tapes produce a small amount of vapour and therefore would never be enough to trigger a smoke alarm. Currently in a hotel with a smoke detector.
Remember. A shower or kettle produces vapour. If steam triggers a smoke detector, then it is highly likely going to trigger a smoke detector. But how many people have triggered a smoke detector when having a hot shower or boiled a kettle?
So, my conclusion is. It's okay to vape. Just don't blow it straight into the smoke detector or vape so frequently that it changes the atmospheric conditions of your room.

In the kitchen, theres a heat detector so it will go off when you put a boiled kettle next to it. Or a hairdryer at it
I always make sure I take out the battery or deactivate it before I vape plus I keep a window open just incase

Yes, absolutely. I have ADP and walked down the steps one day and let out a "normal" cloud and the alarm went off. 4 mins later the fire department showed up. I'm not kidding. The fireman asked what I was doing and I showed him. He thought it was THC lol. Regardless, it WILL set off alarms and the fire department will show up at your house

If alarm goes off, tell them its your frozen pizza and try smoke again. If not, no alarm, you can smoke and chill at nighttime and anytime

Other people have to breath in your vape smoke who don't want it and also get sick from it. We all have a right to control what we put in our bodies and second hand smoke/ vape takes away that right. People who have allergies, lung disease and corona virus damage are being hurt by vape and smoke, sometimes having to live in their cars to get away neighbors vape. It's disgusting that you are vaping in an apartment and hotel room and show no concern that you are hurting people. Don't you get the detectors are there for a good reason?
