I remember my two of my Aunts having those Kidde smoke and carbon monoxide alarms that are at the 1:51 mark in this video. I don’t know the model of those but one of them told me that it started beeping and recently I noticed that she got it replaced with a KN-COSM-IBA exactly like the one in your basement where your fire alarm system is.
I had this alarm until 2017 when it chirped at 4am in the morning when I was at school my dad removed the old battery he tested it but it wasn’t working and we replaced it
Anyone ran into a scenario where the beeping is coming from the ceiling and not the detector itself? I replaced my detector with a new one hoping it stops the 5 beeps but to no avail. Anyone?
@@HenBasketFireAlarms First alert makes smoke and CO alarms and they purposely made so it's very hard to see the green light since they know you will have it in your bedroom

Smoke alarms use house power. If the power goes out, they use their batteries.
