The Doulmagus boss fight was such a difficultly spike that it’s almost comical. He does so much damage and is ignorant fast. Also, if I’m correct, this is the first story line boss that your introduced to what seems to be the infinitely spammable “Wave of Ice”. I can’t count how many times I lost to this dude but when I finally managed to beat him, it was extremely satisfying………and then I got to the Empyrea boss fight 😳😩
😂😂 omg i remember first time entering doulmagus fight I was wiped out so easily I remember it was so hard that I went to side quests and level up more to come back later to beat him
@@deltarek1534 Dhoulmagus and Empyrea are the two biggest hurdles in the game. You get past them and the rest of the game is a cake walk. Especially once you get endgame weapons, equipment and items aka Timbrel of Tension and the Sage’s stone (these two items alone break the game).

ur list looks kinda dope too ultimate dragon and dhoulmagus was one of the hardest fights for me too , and for ruins it was cuz of the element of the surprise i was not ready for it xD
Personally, dhoulmagus was the toughest in the game. Even the last boss wasn't as agonizingly tough, cuz by the end game, you got good skills like omniheal. I probably had to level up to mid 30s and i still barely beat him. But damn was it satisfying. Jester bosses are always fun.
@@deltarek1534 That's typical Dragon Quest for you. It does take a long time to level up unless you get lucky with Metal Slimes. I remember the first few Dragon Quests and grinding was essential.

Tbh I totally agree with ya , dhoulmagus was the only time I had hard time defeating a boss to especially after he transform 😂😂 I was surprised
I thought Ruin was one of the easiest but that's why this is your list and not mine!
ruin was hard cus its a surprise a boss battle and you wont be ready for it

I really over leveled so I did have to much of a problem so far.
damn dq8 was one of those games that u take forever to level up except with those iron slimes kings and stuff xD I WAS always underleveled
