to make the baits cure a bit faster you can also put them in a coldish tub/container of water for 10-15 minutes and then lay them out on the tray. it will make the curing process go quicker. nice vid 🔥
I'm glad I found you I went on your website and your products and your prices are absolutely awesome definitely had to make a nice order can't wait for it to get here
One question: Why does it matter that much if you have bubbles in your plastic? Thank for for showing me how to make baits! Also how much does it cost to buy all of this stuff?
Answering your question if there is bubbles when you inject the plastisol there will be hollow areas in your baits and you don’t want that it can cause them to break easier and float in certain areas
I came across your videos on youtube and I was hoping maybe to give an idea for a color scheme. I mostly fish for bass , crappie and catfish on Percy Priest lake in Smyrna , tn. My favorite soft plastic lure is the zoom 6 inch lizard in black and red glitter. I would be stoked and definitely purchase some 2" minnows, and some crappie jigs in that color scheme. I mean really it'd make a great shad bundle in my opinion.
The vacuum chamber is pretty much what you’re gonna want to efficiently do that but you can use heat in the microwave to do so it just takes a lot longer
So the plastic starts off as a white liquid and then you heat it up and it turns into a jelly then you heat it more and it turn back into a liquid but this time it’s clear… Can someone explain this to me
Salt is used to make the bait sink and is a filler that is cheap and makes them less durable so by me not putting salt in them and using a sinking plastic I get the same results with better quality
I love when people like you show people this it makes me happy
Awesome man, glad you like them!

One question: Why does it matter that much if you have bubbles in your plastic? Thank for for showing me how to make baits! Also how much does it cost to buy all of this stuff?
If you want the beginner basic one it is $75
75$ plus 100$ per mold and 100$ microwave and 150$ vacuum chamber and all your cups and knives
Answering your question if there is bubbles when you inject the plastisol there will be hollow areas in your baits and you don’t want that it can cause them to break easier and float in certain areas
It’s cost quite a bit I have my own bait company and we probably spent 2k or so to start
@@sawyertayloroutdoorschanne1409 ye it cost a lot to start but it will last a while
What plastic do I need for the lures just plastisol or something different?
Yes, plastisol
@@MarrKinghow many 5” worms can you normally make with 1 gallon of plastisol?
Not sure might have to see

Hi sir, I am a beginner. Can I ask you a question? Can you tell me how to choose the jighead weight?
I just get a mold that has a variety that way I could pick when I get it
I came across your videos on youtube and I was hoping maybe to give an idea for a color scheme.

Thank you sir! Thanks for watching

Glad you enjoyed it👍🏻🙏🏻
How much money is it to get all the stuff you need?
Probably about 500
@@MarrKing ok thx
For a beginner do you have to have the injector or can you just pour it in?
You’ll need an injector
Congrats on 36000!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you! 🫡
Hey, I’m new to bait making and my baits are really soft, how do I make them tougher?
Hello I’m probably going to buy some of your lures because they are cheap and look so cool! You earned a new sub
Thank you so much!
So for what you need to get started is expensive, but is in worth all of the time a money?
It depends if you like doing it and what you get. And if you have the time
Hey, question where do you get a good and cheap microwave like yours?
Same for vacuum chamber/pump
Well, they’re not cheap. I get them from Amazon and Walmart. microwave is from Walmart.
Is there anyway to remove bubbles without a vacuum chamber
Kinda. You can use heat but it takes longer
Can you pour any 5 or 7 inch swimbaits??? Even 9 or 11 inch?
No i don’t have those molds hopefully one day
How Do you package your Jigs?
What website?
In a pillow box. I get them from clear bags
@@MarrKing what if you were packing several?
🤷🏼♂️ I just do one at a time
Thanks for making this video if I had 10k to give to any RUclipsr I would give it to you
No problem! Thanks man! I appreciate you!🫡😂
would you ever consider wooden bait making?
Maybe 🤷🏼♂️
Btw the thermometer gun only measures the surface temp inside if the plastic could be a different temp
Yeah that’s true. If you stir it, you can get better results.
Do we need vacuum chambers
I mean you don’t need one but it almost a must
Where do you buy all the Bait molds
Angling ai
Thanks
Love the long videos could you do the duel injection but as you inject it you swirl it
Yes you can , you just have to get a different style blending block for a random swirl pattern 🍻🤜🏻🤛🏻
That’s correct
@@jeffstanley8479 yup
I am a 12 year old who is new to bait make and doesn’t have enough money to buy a vacuum chamber what else can I do for the bubbles

It's a good color to use the method milking the cow.
Yes it is!
So the plastic starts off as a white liquid and then you heat it up and it turns into a jelly then you heat it more and it turn back into a liquid but this time it’s clear… Can someone explain this to me
Yep, it’s the way the chemicals react with the heat
🔥🔥🔥🔥
you don't add salt?
No sit I don’t would you like me to explain why?
@@MarrKing yeah info is always welcome.
