    I use the size 1 and 1/0 Mustad hooks to freeline for snook ruclips.net/user/postUgkxzXmlErSqVAEGWFEKO530BvTqFDw53QW3 and they have been fantastic. The points are super sharp, and the hook is small enough to blend with my baitfish, yet large enough to land fish 30" or more. I also use these hooks when I'm pier or surf fishing with my kids. They tend to catch tons of smaller snapper, whiting, and catfish, and we get far fewer gut hooks with these Mustad in-lines, which means more of them survive after release. I was actually using these hooks when I caught my friend too, but I think that had more to do with the bait I was using ;-)

    The only thing is the shop vac’s have a water lift of around 50” while the carpet extractor’s have a water lift of around 100” or greater. That’s because of the one stage motor. It’d be cool if you could replace the original motor with a $150 3-stage motor.

    • @1kontrabida
      @1kontrabida Год назад +1

      The Black beast is at 82" and when u switch to a smaller diameter hose you'll be over 100" on a $120 single stage vacuum.

    Be warned. The Ridgid vacuums includes a white standard 1 layer filter in the box. However if you read the instructions it calls for a specific wet application black foam filter (Home Depot @ $15 Part Number VF3700) that is the ONLY filter designed for water pick up. Its design allows it to be washable and reusable up to a claimed 6 months of use. Its a foam filter with resin core. It should be noted the wet application filter is not be used for (dry) particle pick up. Its specific to water. It allows the incoming water to bead and drop into the tank vs. soaking the paper filter and becoming a suction restriction or worse tearing the wet/weak paper filter letting water droplets and wet debris bypass into your hot vacuum motor (BOOM!). Understand this filter is for vacuuming water but think about your investment in your tool, killing your equipment on the job location, and of coarse future warranty claim at the counter in the store.

    Hey man I like what you did here! Where did you get that extractor head? The one you linked is different. I have the one you linked and it sprays water everywhere. My recommendation would be to use air hose for the water hose. Can get an attachment to go from 1/4 npt on air hose to fitting to connect to hose. Look up "Tesla detailing." He did a great video. Also, if you use a weed spray bottle, you can load it with hot water. I installed a shrader valve(like car tire valve stem) then I use Ryobi tire inflator to keep it pressurized. It works amazing! Only have to fill the weed sprayer twice for most jobs.

    • @DasBeefi
      @DasBeefi 2 года назад +1

      this is for enthusiast. Bissell suctions can't compare to a shopvac. No there isn't a "heated" version. Bissell just maintain temperature of the hot water you use, NOT heat the water. If you have no constructive comment, don't comment at all. Do some research before you comment. Just because "DETAIL GEEK" say it's the best, doesn't mean it is.

    • @jeremywhitesell2688
      @jeremywhitesell2688 2 года назад

      @@DasBeefi you need a pill to calm down. You must be new to youtube. There are millions of non consttuctive comments on every video. I said heated version cause it does warm up. I did not say it heats the water cause it doesnt. Those units are more expensive. Its a Bissell. Get what you pay for. I certainly did not say they were the best. It is definitely good for the budget minded. Nowhere near the cost of an extractor. Feel free to do some research since your comment proves you didnt.

      True, but he’s saying that the quality of extractor that you’d get doing it this way would be much closer to the high dollar machines that professional car detailers use. I’ve never used either, so I’m not sure if it would be worth your time, but I know that’s what he’s arguing
