The Web Sesh stream with Pete Davidson on 4/20/20 started an hour or so after my first kid was born. Wife and kid were asleep so I got to watch and relax to the stream while they rested. I'll never forget that morning lol.
I'm hittin play in my head on all these songs I've loved for so long! Looking back now, the tough times I went thru. idk how I would've gotten thru it without you, brotha! The level of gratitude I have for you, brotha words couldn't begin to thank you! My next Tattoo is gonna be the CW with the Hat on top. Thank you for doing the sit down with Squirrel! It was nice getting to know you a little bit.
The GOAT. And it turns out squires is one hell of a podcaster/interviewer. I’ll have to jump back and watch some more of these, a lot of these dudes think they can podcast because they can talk, but squires really goes into these things with a road map for the conversation and does his homework. Refreshing to watch
Amazing interview! It’s rare for me to watch really long podcasts but I was so intrigued the whole time and honestly wish it could’ve been even longer. I definitely subscribed and will be checking out more of your podcasts!
Loved this episode so much, love Webby as an artist, now I love him as a person too. Loving everything Mike Squires and Friends has to share thanks for doing your thing man 🥰
I watched this entire vid and I just wanna say thank you and Webby for doing this. This was so informative, fun, entertaining, and enjoyable. Webby's a GOAT, straight up.
I appreciate you taking the time to check the whole podcast! I started it last year and it’s been fun! Also you may see a webby appearance again very soon
Man I've been bumping Webby for 15 years and love hearing these stories I've never heard before! Thanks Mike for doing this for us and of course it means a lot! 🕸️🕸️🕸️
Shot the shit w Webby back in the OG days in Utica NY after one of his shows. Smoked a fat L and chatted for a few mins. Such a down to earth guy. Still bump his shit till this day ✅
What a great podcast!! Thank you to the both of you for taking the time to do this! Especially considering the fact that Chris JUST finished his tour in Canada (His show in Moncton, NB was kickass BTW). It's nice to get a peak behind the curtain and to learn a little more about one of my favourite artists!

But man I've flown to Seattle twice to see this man perform live , dopest man alive and dopest rapper alive, but man i just met Kenny urban like a couple weeks ago he stopped by my work. Was so crazy!!! Dude beatboxed and took a photo with me
Yeo yeo we love Chris Webby and feel he is an incredible representative for East Coast Hip-Hop! We’ve reacted to a bunch of his songs on our channel , but have listened to so many on our own. Sways freestyle was legendary and we can hear that this man is a true student of the game! As NY based artist ourselves he serves as such an inspiration for what hard work , consistency, and perseverance can achieve . Mad Respect for Chris Webby, Great interview Mike!
@@MikeSquiresAndFriends my bad for that reply 😭😭😭 I was at work and didn’t even notice the actual channel responded 🥲 I’m so used to seeing spam stuff especially on instagram I didn’t believe it!
I've always wanted a long ass interview with one of my all time favorite rappers. It's nice to hear him talk and just get a little more familiarized with him. Been listening to webby since I heard him on a remix of KMK's BOOM CLAP! Only at the Toads Place section but hope you ask about it somewhere in this interview. Thanks again for this content bro, take care of yourself💪❤️
Webby and squires talking for 3 hours great to work and listen to two great artists! Webby been through so much and look at him now! I’ma Webby fan from the first time I heard him and Mac on I need a dollar
Everyone has the right to take a break. He shouldn't feel pressured because if fans are going to turn against him for taking a few weeks or months to just chill, that's pretty lame of them.
I've listened to alot of hiphop in my life before I found Webby, and after i found him, I was hooked on his music. He's real, he's genuine, he speaks on the real shit that's going on in this world, and he's not a sellout... He's lyrical and he's got great beats. On top of all that, he grinds like a MF... Salute to you Webby! You made your own lane and don't back down. A true soldier in the game!!!
Webby! We dont need you to be stressed to keep releases every Wed! Your music is fire and your a bad ass! What you can release between touring and doing your thing is more then enough and obviously people love it when something new drops but not if its forced bro! Keep being the best rapper in the game and focus on keeping it fun and enjoyable brother! Your music will be more cherished when your heart and soul is behind it like it has been sense the beginning!
Just watched/listened to this while i was at work this was a very well done interview. Mike I like the way you interview by keeping it extensive yet moving along and not getting too sidetracked yet still keeping it conversational. I have been a Webby fan since 09 Myspace days, i have watched tons of interviews, live shows etc on him and this was great to have everything collected like this. I especially liked picking his brain on the tour stories, and the introduction to Ekoh. This will definitely be a go to source for a future Webby biography. Some things i wish were addressed in this interview personally, would be whatever happened with him and D Lector. They were on each others mixtapes all the time now nothing. Also diving into some of his other collabs further like Jon Connor such an inderrated artist but they always produce fire. I also would have liked more of a segment on his influences. Like we can say Eminem but im curious as to his influences as a young webby to the artist today. Another thing i wanted to know more about was in webby lab 2 theres a song Chemical Romance about him saying goodbye to drugs, i sort of want more background behind that time of his life of i guess "growing up" and away from these drugs. I can probably think of a few other things id love for someone to pick his brain about but maybe another time. Great work on this and thanks for putting it out there for us
Appreciate you so much for watching the episode! I know it was a long one haha! But I'm working on finding my way in the world of Podcasting so it makes me happy that you enjoyed the episode.
