Mesquite Nevada, what's it like?

- Mesquite Nevada is a nice town on the Arizona/ Nevada boarder about an hour and a half north east of Las Vegas. Known as a retirement community there is lots to do in Mesquite. From beautiful golf courses to side by side riding, most of what Mesquite has to offer is beautiful outdoors and scenery. Of course Casinos and plenty of RV parks are available as well. There is plenty of new construction being built in Mesquite and every convenience of a bigger city as far as stores and banks and gyms go. There is an elementary school, middle and high school in Mesquite. There is also a small airport in Mesquite too which offers skydiving.

I’ve often despised Nevada for many things and I didn’t think I’d like any city or town there, but Mesquite is actually quite interested. I’ve been there like 5 times and every time I’m actually surprised how awesome everything looks. I definitely prefer to visit Mesquite over Las Vegas

I have a friend in Mesquite. He just had a home built there a couple of years ago.

Gosh, only 21,000 population.... very nice... I enjoyed looksee at the neighborhood of homes... It would have been nice to see East, West, South, North of the City... and intersection names to orient myself on maps... The silence was deafening...
You might want to redo the video and RUclips page and spell Mesquite correctly. Even on your video you have misspelled it as “Mequite” - it’s not a good sign when even a fab realtor can’t get the name of the town right.

I am interested in seeing Mesquite, but you definitely need to be talking and explaining what area for town each neighborhood was in…no way of knowing where you are…please have audio…

Quiet very quiet but very nice to live in
I first went to Mesquite in 1989. There were some sleazy developers there. I interviewed a realtor back then and was told builders were using shoddy/cheap
building materials, lots were smaller than advertised, and housing was being built quickly at high prices. I'm sure things have changed but BUYER BEWARE!
I have one in contract up there that is over a million dollars for a 2500 sq ft house, its pretty freaking nice! But there are differences in the quality of new builds for sure! It is one of my favorite places it's nice 👍 but it's no longer for me since my ex family ruined my opinions of ever living in mesquite NV again once they started going there so no thanks .

Hi RR, Mesquite has new homes for sales starting in the low $300,000's Depending on where you live now there may be some differences. For instance there is no state income tax in Nevada.
What is the average home price here and is there good medical facilities?
