Pillager patrols are rare mob spawning events, where up to 5 pillagers spawn randomly near the player, led by a patrol captain. If you defeat the patrol captain, you will get the bad omen effect, which can trigger a raid if you enter a village. Luckily, there is a simple command on both minecraft bedrock edition and minecraft java edition to get rid of this patrol event. The commands are:
How to disable patrols in minecraft Java: /gamerule doPatrolSpawning false
How to disable patrols in minecraft Bedrock: /mobevent minecraft:pillager_patrols_event false

Pillager patrols are quite a cool feature

It's honestly one of Minecraft's unique features to add Pillager Patrols. I really wish Mojang adds Villager Patrols, they don't have weapons but they are searching and exploring for resources. Would be an interesting feature.
