I drove exactly like this my first time on a fast electric cart track. Gotta push the limits to see what it can handle- spin out a few times, then ride that razors edge! Looks like a blast bro.
This karts wicked! I've got a couple laying around and have been wanting to build an electric one for a while. What motor, batteries and controller are you using? Would like to see a more in depth build of this
Have you tried torque vectoring? Seems like the kart suffers from alot of understeeer caused from a combination of heavier weight, traction, and torque thru a solid axel.
Do you have a build log or list of parts you're using in your setup? I saw your previous conversion video but it looks like all of the videos are only of you driving it. I'd love to learn more about it. Cool project!
@@streetK4 I thought you drove fine don’t listen to trolls it was a test drive. I was just curious about the torque difference between gas and electric motors. Great video btw I was cracking up when u went to help that kid and he was flailing his arms lol
Front brakes, widest rear tires you can get, and some practice and they won't have a chance. You are clearly heavy, front brakes would allow you to take advantage of the power, then transfer the weight to the front by braking hard into the corner ... turning not spinning, and accelerate away. (For the win, of course). Physics has the back passing the front as soon as the rears lock up, wider tires alone (rear) are not likely to prevent this due to weight. Or you could always hire a 60 pound kid to drive, but what fun would that be?
You have to ask them for permission main thing is pace of gokart and your own ability to handle it. They need to make sure you can do it and that you won't endanger others
lol. there are four holes in the controller and four in the motor. He put screws through the holes. C'mon guys. You know what a go kart looks like and an electric motor is smaller than a gas motor. Why are you all asking for a how to video as far as this conversion. Itisnt hard to figure it out, i mean, the motor isnt mounted to the handlebars lol
I don't know what your tire pressure was. But you were slip sliding in the corners. Try around 12 to 15 psi in the front and about 18 to 20 make sure they are flat with no rounding in the center. I'll bet you will have a lot more grip through the turns.
the electric motor has too much braking horsepower. try not to lift all the way off instantly and use the brakes more. you spin entering the corners because the electric motor locks up your rear wheels.
Well, thank for your input. To my defense it was very dirty parking lot, i was trying different racing line but there was a lot of gravel. I wasn't there to compete really just to try out the gokart how does it handle. I wasn't trying to win anything. I'm sure you're much better driver
Quite possibly the worst kart driver I've ever seen in my life. Jesus Christ....in a real race you'd be lethal and black flagged instantly. I'm surprised they didn't do that after the first 4 spins

Red driver
Makes me feel better about my driving! Brilliant gokart though, looks like a lot of fun!

Same would like to see how things are mounted :)
That was fun. Thanks for the ride.
"they won't hear me coming" scrape skid skid, wipeout
Looked fun. You almost took those kids out a couple times. Crazy how large 21 of those packs are compared to lipos of the same voltage and capacity.
That looked like an absolute blast to drive. It took a few laps to sort things out then the last laps, you were flying.

You gotta point your gopro higher so we can see what's going on. It hurts my eyes because I'm constantly trying to "look up" instinctually.
Uh... Adjust your head buddy so you don't hurt your eyes by looking up without your head
Ahh reminds me of the first time I drove the rimac nivera….On forza
Couldn’t get a hold of the under steer+instant torque
But when you do…DAMN
What does the powertrain consist of? Maybe a video idea...

I have to make video about me making it
Nice build man!
Dude you're all over the place. 🤣 Still looks like a blast
Great video you won
Electrics have serious instant torque that sends you flying from 0
nice ....do you think it. has too much torque for the tires? can you adjust that with the motor controller?
It doesn't have that much torque. Not with this gearing. Very dirty track and cold tires if anything and as few pointed out no skill whatsoever.

Is there any way you can clutch the outdrive to release when you let off throttle to stop the understeer?
How did you make this if you built it or where did you buy the electric go kart
Is this from this past Sunday at Nassau?
It is
How much did it cost to build

getting rid of 3 wheels so you dont slide around would help you get 1st place
Motor upgrade check V
Now is time to upgrade driving skills
That is amazing
I have an electric kart as well. How does it go when you want to drive it at a track?

@@streetK4 ok thanks
@@Kevin.OBrien44 haha, I watched your vids before seeing this, btw, how's the 3rd vid on the kart going?
Electric all day for me :)
Wow! Nice!!!
Show us how you mount motor and controller bro.

Old Billy No Brakes over here
I want to start a track in a caribean country soon. 3 years i think. I'll take 1/2 doz. How much?

Nice one bro.. can u hice the specs?
Dirfting them corners wouldve been sick
Nice cart but damger to other drivers
Nassau coliseum!
Love it bro

It's not the tire pressure. Track was dirty they put me on the back of the grid if you tried go outside racing line there was gravel = immediate spun
nice save

hope you never enter a vintage kart class.
Seems to have lost some power toward the end of the race.
Power is nothing without control… no offence but your driving lacks a lot…

You know what brakes are??? Use them.
Plz help me I need is car plz sent me sri lanka plz

@@CS-Loc ok Mr Ayrton Senna. When i need lessons i know who to call 🤙
@@streetK4 Definitely don't call Ayrton Senna. Because of obvious reasons.
