same exact thing i was wondering. axis has much better wave and half the price. this is either sponsored or he’s just always liked mastercraft style, some ppl will always have an affinity for a certain style regardless of performance. like for me i’ve always been a malibu or g23 fan, i’d never get a mastercrap, the wave in the video was awful, which is consistent to what i’ve heard and seen. it’s rideable sure, but not the best. 🤷🏻♂️

Congratulations well deserved, but mastercraft is not leading the surfing direction, looked so hard to dial in. hope this was sponsored!
The only thing making it hard was our 7ft of depth and additional buoyancy in salt water. I would actually say its as easy as can be - their pro riders already have the settings pre set so you don't have to do anything. easy touch screen and 3 minute ballast fills, gopro connections. Really couldn't be any easier.

They already have "mellow" and "steep" settings so you don't have to shoot in the dark

can't get a proper skimboard in europe. would wakesurf board be good enough? or are they completely different? seen some wakesurf vs skimboard youtube comparison, but guy looked like he knows way more about wakesurf than skimboard. Would be great to know the differences from skimboard rider perspective.

@austin keen - What do you have to do, if anything to that XT22 to use it in salt water? I think you're in the lagoon near Carlsbad.. I'm looking at this boat and plan on taking it in the salt water as well as lakes.. thanks!
We hook up the hose and flush it out and thoroughly rinse it and wipe it down after every use.

I believe there's actually a camera at the stern of the boat so you can see the rider from the LCD up front

Xt22 is a nice boat but for fucks sake come on Mastercraft you should have gave Austin the X22 or X24. This guy is is at the top of his game and his boat should match too. Nautique gave Murray a Paragon and he barely even wakesurfs
