My favorite part about the Super Sonic boss fights, is how Sonic is using the power of the chaos emeralds, in ways we've never seen before the in games, except fan animation and the comics, I especially like how Sonic is able to make doppelgangers of himself and create shadow kicks and punches!
It's been established that the Chaos Emeralds can make wishes and thoughts real, so I think Super Sonic can shape weapons and objects on his mind and materialize them.

@XGaming4K As far as gameplay and story beats go, Sonic 06 was supposed to be adventure 3, and after that game flopped they abandoned that play style. They brought it back somewhat in lost worlds but yea
Sonic has got to be the most terrifying thing to fight against this game, not because of his speed or strength or even his skills. No, it’s mostly because he can hold his Parry Stance for FIFTEEN BLOODY SECONDS.
For a while I thought I had to release the parry buttons right as the attack hit, when I learned you can just hold the stance the entire time it felt like I became untouchable - definitely should at least be a teeny bit stricter in execution

We've always heard about how Shadow is the supposed "ultimate life form", but we forget that his resemblance to Sonic is no wonder, as the blue hedgehog was once able to use chaos control only with a fake emerald.
Not to mention him beating Perfect Chaos in Generations without Super form, just shows you that Sonic keeps getting stronger, faster and more powerful in general.

Im personally looking for a VERY challenging game so when I get this on black friday I will definetely play it with all lvl 1 upgrades in the hardest mode to have the best challenge possible lol.
"The goal to winning is to efficiently deal heavy damage" You can either do that through skill, or stat boosts. Dear god this is the more satisfying of the two.
I find it legit hilarious that people called the level one version of this fight spammy and unfun. Sure, it takes some effort, but one, that's why there's badass music, and two, it's WAY more fun than just taking everything out in like three hits. (Did that for the final Titan, and holy shit did it scare me).
That's because the previous Sonic games never had a combat system, it's just jump and homing attacks. That's why I love Frontiers so much, as of right now it's my favorite Sonic game. The story is good and the gameplay is the best out of all the other Sonic games. It's my personal opinion of course, and I've played all the Sonic games, or rather all the Sonic games that has a story.
You can tell the difference between putting on an op and going to everything without a shirt haha, well, I have to replay the whole game to be able to kick the titans' butts as Sega mandates
Would you recommend playing on lvl 1 for my first playthrough? I'm about 1h deep into the game and reading the comments now made the game look easy. I really want a challenge to enjoy the game, what do you think?
On my second playthrough I realized Super Sonic absolutely ripped the titans apart when he had his stats upgraded, even in hard mode. Fitting for someone as op as Super Sonic honestly but the fights became quick work
Yes! They need to do that because I can only use 3 saves for 3/4 Titans and it's stupid even though I can use my auto save but I need to quit the game every time before I land on the new island. To add to the challenge they need to make their attacks hurt you. When they hit you, you lose 10 Rings like you did with Solaris and Perfect Dark Gaia.
Supreme got shredded in 2 seconds by my Crossslash since I was max power. I mostly got that strong for achievement purposes. I'm definitely gonna limit if not completely skip upping my power on my 2nd playthrough
I'd do it. It makes fights way more enjoyable. Just be cautious around some enemies like Tank, Strider, Master Ninja and Caterpillar. With only 400 Rings and NO Defense, one wrong move can render you one-shot.
I feel like Super Sonic stats should be hard-locked to ignore whatever stats you normally had. Sure this does take away some of the point of stat upgrades, but I am willing to give that up to have amazing bosses, especially since it's technically possible (but really tedious) to max out all stats on Kronos island.
I feel like originally you were supposed to destroy all the drones before you could go after him(they would be generating a force field), but they took that out for some reason.
13:20 this whole animation for the amount of damage 1 ability would do.. HMMM. lol - i wish i just got to see these in my 1st playthrough- YES I AM SALTY 14:15 even that is sick af -
I’ve finished Frontiers at 100% and I see that you’re doing those in a new game, does it overwrite the data and make you lose everything from the previous game or not ? Also great video, I sure like Boss fights with a ton of handicaps
Yeah, so if you want, you can keep a Save File with OP Sonic & start fresh from a new game as it will overwrite the Autosave only. I actually want to have three files for Frontiers based on stats 1st Save: Maxed 2nd: Base 3rd: 50%
as much as i love the titan fights, they really really made them so easy to beat, any dmg upgrade above level 1 melts their health bars, they barely attack since they get stunlocked by the super sonic attacks, dont get me wrong, i think these fights are amazing and bring back the feeling of super sonic being op, but like a bit more of a challenge wouldve been awsome yknow? like have them have more hp so that attack upgrades matter, or have them be more aggressive yknow?
Yesterday I started this and am just grinding skill points for combos to make the fight more fun, also I’ll be saving at each fight so I can do any boss whenever

I love the knight fight and wyverns fight at level 1 its so awesome when you don't deplete their hp!
It shows how much they need to improve supreme if half the time of the boss is just the ending cutscene
I second this, actually did another run only upgrading speed and nothing else. Makes the combat a lot more fun too.
I literally got goosebumps while playing the titans
"IT'S TIME TO FACE YOU FEARRRRRR CAUSE WHEN YOUR TIME HAS COME AND GON-" *Insert Giganto groaning*
Leveling up was never a option, it was a choice
What's the difference between an option and a choice?
Bruh moment
@@KyngD469 I think they're the same thing 😁
"This sounded way cooler in my head"
Im personally looking for a VERY challenging game so when I get this on black friday I will definetely play it with all lvl 1 upgrades in the hardest mode to have the best challenge possible lol.
"The goal to winning is to efficiently deal heavy damage"
You can either do that through skill, or stat boosts. Dear god this is the more satisfying of the two.
Can we all agree that the songs for each boss fight with the titans in frontiers are op
I can, when I compare these songs to the songs from previous Sonic games...... Frontiers songs for the Titans are as addicting as crack.
Thanks for the inspiration! My next run will be a lvl 1 run!
I already did a lvl 1 run and it's so damn fun
Same, I just finished my LV 1 Run yesterday & it's honestly pretty damn fun.
Supreme should have double or even triple the hp
There's no reason for it to be so criminally brief, especially phase 1
Yeah, raising all my stats to Max was a mistake. Even on Hard Mode, the gameplay was way too easy.
Now we see the true power of Super Sonic, its more enjoyable to watch this game and maybe play in the future
I find it legit hilarious that people called the level one version of this fight spammy and unfun. Sure, it takes some effort, but one, that's why there's badass music, and two, it's WAY more fun than just taking everything out in like three hits. (Did that for the final Titan, and holy shit did it scare me).
This really just makes me want to restart my game and play with all my stats at 1
Super Sonic Battles were never so awesome like in this entry.
Or better yet a replay feature for bosses, whether they be guardians or titans. Also that they’re tougher, wait that’s new game plus.
19:14 PERFECT SYNC
You can tell the difference between putting on an op and going to everything without a shirt haha, well, I have to replay the whole game to be able to kick the titans' butts as Sega mandates
Would you recommend playing on lvl 1 for my first playthrough? I'm about 1h deep into the game and reading the comments now made the game look easy. I really want a challenge to enjoy the game, what do you think?
Play level 1 the whole time yes, if you wish to level up go as far as 20 on everything, past that it’s too easy
On my second playthrough I realized Super Sonic absolutely ripped the titans apart when he had his stats upgraded, even in hard mode. Fitting for someone as op as Super Sonic honestly but the fights became quick work
Probably best to upgrade speed and ring capacity for my next replay of the game
The boss fights were the best part about the game imo
Like it just came out and everyone is almost finished lol
Almost? We're done😂
@@rishenxb1s705 Well done
@@234SuperSimi Thank you
@@rishenxb1s705 You're welcome
They should do a boss rush against "Super Titans" where it's more powerful versions of the titans
Honestly i was more disappointed by supreme than the end. Because of how easy he is, and still is even at level 1
I feel like originally you were supposed to destroy all the drones before you could go after him(they would be generating a force field), but they took that out for some reason.
@@ZachStone3213 yeah you're supposed to destroy the drones, not skipping them and beating the shit out of him
@@xbgsheikiii3593
Oh wow. How'd they not think to put some kind of invul on it until you destroyed its drones?

"Best animation
I love watching your RUclips channel! It's always fun to watch."
what the fuck is your channel
I can bet ur favourite theme is between undefeatable and find your flame, come on man i just feel it
Playing sonic frontiers in level 1 is the true hard mode to experience without leveling up
That moment where you actually feel bad for eggman
13:20 this whole animation for the amount of damage 1 ability would do.. HMMM. lol - i wish i just got to see these in my 1st playthrough- YES I AM SALTY 14:15 even that is sick af -
Want the best titan fight experience? Max out ring capacity, have level 1 attack, and don't use special moves.
Truly the best.
It kinda makes them drag on but also pretty fair at the same time lol
Undertale Neutral-Pacifist run be like:
I’ve finished Frontiers at 100% and I see that you’re doing those in a new game, does it overwrite the data and make you lose everything from the previous game or not ?
Also great video, I sure like Boss fights with a ton of handicaps
As far as I heard, the auto save dlot is overwriten, the other 3 a free to use as you wish
Yeah, so if you want, you can keep a Save File with OP Sonic & start fresh from a new game as it will overwrite the Autosave only. I actually want to have three files for Frontiers based on stats
1st Save: Maxed
2nd: Base
3rd: 50%
Did anyone realize Sonic’s aura changed when he powered up after he kicked the sword away for the QTE?
as much as i love the titan fights, they really really made them so easy to beat, any dmg upgrade above level 1 melts their health bars, they barely attack since they get stunlocked by the super sonic attacks, dont get me wrong, i think these fights are amazing and bring back the feeling of super sonic being op, but like a bit more of a challenge wouldve been awsome yknow? like have them have more hp so that attack upgrades matter, or have them be more aggressive yknow?
Ive played through Extreme with only Cyloop as a skill i bought. I know how this goes. The pain of Giganto, its unrivaled
Yesterday I started this and am just grinding skill points for combos to make the fight more fun, also I’ll be saving at each fight so I can do any boss whenever
9:17 “WHAT GOES AROOOOOUND”
Bruh ironic how I legit started a lvl 1 playthrough just yesterday lol
I love how the final boss is literally just a Danmaku game, all it's missing is ZUNpets
This game felt more like a movie
What do you have for your settings? It looks like you have the frame rates unlocked because it looks very smooth!
I don't know how but i comepletly skipped "The End" fight and went right into the finishing cutscene :D Need to try a level 1 run as well - this looks way more fun and enjoyable
The end fight can only be done in hard mode. Stupid I know. Edit: just in case people take this the wrong way, I really like this game
@@ryanrevell6475 ooh really ? never knew. But why would they do this ? :D
@@ryanrevell6475 hard mode isnt really hard. it for sonic fans who actually care about the full experience. I think they were trying to do something like in sa1 where you had to do all stories
