  • Hey guys, while still trapped in Berlin cause of the covid 19 pandemic I am practicing my drone flying skills with my DJI Mavic Mini 2 and we drove out of Berlin to a cool windpark and found a quiet track where we could fly a bit and get some awesome footage. I mounted the drone controller on the handlebar in order to fly while riding and get those cinematic looking riding shots. we're still practicing but it's so much fun doing it.
    Hope the video inspires you to also get out there and film some great stuff.
    let me know in the the comments what you guys are up to and if you also fly your drone on your bike rides. If you like the video give me a big thumbs up and subscribe to the channel to join the honda and me on our adventures.
    Cheers,
    Marc

    Dji will release the SDK for ios March 31, which mean you can use Litchi with Follow mode, no need to control the drone manually, much safer.

    • @lajosjozsa2600
      @lajosjozsa2600 2 года назад

      @@MarcTravels Yes, Litchi is good, I have used it several times. It takes the GPS position of the phone and use it for reference point for Follow mode. Thought it takes some practice to figure out all the settings, it is not hard to crash the drone with it. You always have to plan what and keep in mind elevation and direction (North, South..) If you can master it Litchi is capable of doing some amazing cinematic movements. Of course, it is never going to be as good as twice as expensive drones, but for travel vlog it is perfect.
      Thanks for this video, I have learned some new ideas, and surely, you made me sure I have to fix somehow the controller to my bike, even though it is a bit of a pain to control it this way.

    Mini 2 and Se will be much better when DJI release the SDK code, just like the mini 1 and Air1 and Spark, so much better. Anyway, enjoyed the video. You should try Dronelink or Litchi with the Mini1, it has got the best follow me mode, it will follow your GPD phone, not the controller.

      Thats what i critisies on Itchy Boots. To say any time, that she is flying the drone with one hand and drive the Bike the same time with the other on off-road tracks........
      Just Bullshit. Always "Follow me" mode. Otherwise she would be dead long time ago.

      @@Underwatergoat1 hehe i would 💯 cause she also sounds different with high octane (with 95 is a more deeper, dull sound than with 102 octane), gets hotter with higher octane and with the 102 ultimate I get 20km more range. I tried everything the last 40.000km and I can tell for sure what fuel she’s on💪🏼 would be a cool video, I’ll keep that in mind for later when the prices go down again 😅…thanks mate 🤙🏼

      @@MarcTravels my bike is quite similar. I have a BMW Sertao. I can't tell any difference between 95 and 98 and it's a more powerful bike (not by much admittedly) we don't have 100 in the UK unless you buy Avgas but very few vehicles actually have that much compression.
      Your head might be a bit coked up if you are getting pre-ignition on 95
