    Nice video! So based on your comparison the keyboards are actually a bit different between p14s and t14. That's very interesting as no one else has spotted that before.

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  3 года назад +3

      Yes the keyboards are different in texture, the T14 is rough feel where as the P14s is smooth feel like the X1 series. Maybe I spend a bit of time on Lenovos so I can notice the difference Tim.

      Thanks Shi Xuen Chin, that sound and feel of running hand over the two laptop to find they the same height and texture does feel very satisfying lol. After the unboxing I looked at the website and yes it does share the same chassis as the T14, so the main difference is the discrete graphics is a Quadro P520 instead of the Geforce MX330 in the T14.

      @@BsianTech Is the build material similar? I just ordered a T14 AMD with Ryzen pro 4750U, 16 + 0, 512 SSD, 400nits Low power FullHD display

      @@shixuenchin1396 i expect the build quality and construction the same as the T14 intel and P14s. Only difference is processor and no thunderbolt support on the AMD. The configuration you ordered is the same as the one I have which I am waiting for.

      Bottom: PA / 50% GF, only difference is the keyboard cover in the T14 is PC / ABS / Talc15 + Magnesium alloy

    Looking forward for the review. Do you recommend this one over the Legion 5 (Ryzen 7 4800H, 16GB, 1650 Ti) ? My only issue with the specs of the laptop is the base clock of the CPU is on the low end (Basic requirements for AutoCAD 2.5 GHz). My work will only consists of 2D drawings fyi.

      Great to hear, the mobile workstation market are becoming much better weight these days but for the really power beasts expect them to weigh a lot still.

    Looking forward to the full review. Currently considering getting the AMD version of this model.
    Will you be able to test out the battery conservation mode as well? I currently have a X390 that is issued by my company and that model seems to suffer from a battery drain issue when the battery conservation mode is turned on and even though the laptop has been constantly plugged in. Really hope that the issue is just isolated and does not happen on the P14s.
    Also, possible to advise and compare that with the P14s (AMD) cuz specs wise it looks so similar to the T14s (AMD)?

    What are the differences between the T14 and the P14s. Which one should you buy with the same components?

    • @qv6486
      @qv6486 3 года назад

      P14s tend to have Quadro graphic
      T14 has either mx330 or intel 620 graphics.

    • @BsianTech

      Hi Abhi, I am taking a guess you talking about the T14 instead of the T490. If you are in need of the vPro or have a service in your organisation that requires Intel, do have a look at the Ryzen version of the T14.
