Great review. Not focused on things that I can just look up in the specs but instead focused on physical characteristics that require a physical side-by-side inspection, well done. It made my choice pretty clear.
Cheers, Mash IT, we learning a lot from making these videos ourselves =). I have a queue of your videos for me to watch after I reviewed them myself hahah.
sorry to be off topic but does anyone know of a way to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost the password. I love any help you can offer me!
@Matteo Kody i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I just purchased the T14, Intel i7 (10.....), 16 GB, 1 TB SSD. It runs really smooth. Though it's medium size, it's still quite light which I really like. The build and strength reminds me of the older IBM Thinkpads (whether personal and office-owned). The price is still premium though not as hefty as X1 Carbon. My previous laptop is a Dell XPS 15. It was a strong, solid and smooth laptop, but after 5 years it's been facing glitches, hardware trouble, etc. And it doesn't look as sleek as when it was in a newer/better condition. So maybe there is a point of making a laptop with a classier model like Thinkpads, because I know the classic look stays even after several years. So, yes, I really like my T14.
And then to really confuse the consumer they brought out the P14s which has features from both of these units. I think the marketing people at Lenovo hang about smoking stuff and dreaming up new and bizarre variations on variations just because they can...
Hey, I have a question for you. There is an opening for a micro sd on the left hand side of the computer, what is the openning for, on the right hand side? What cards does it read?
Thanks for the video, it was really helpful. I've searched through your channel and found out that the deep review of the T14s never came about. Is that so or did I just miss it? Thanks
got the x13 ryzen 7 with a 4g option , didnt get the t14s i saw in couple reviews it heats up, the t14 was heavier, the t14 , 4g amd versions comes in ryzen 5 only, so got the x13, getting used to a smaller keyboard
Great choice Samir, good to see you got the R7 version of the X13, I have been testing both the Intel and AMD version of the X13 and very interesting results, its mostly looking good on the AMD side. I will find out how the heat is when I put these two head to head =) though the T14s I got is the R5 version and the T14 is the R7 version.
The T14 can use dual channel memory if you plug in an additional stick yourself (which will about double your iGPU performance, although you will then run into thermal issues).
Hey man Acer just launched Aspire 7 with Ryzen 5 5500U + GTX 1650 so I'm curious it's apu + gpu combination which is weird and at same time its latest 5000 series at $750 so what do you think ? Earlier i was waiting for ThinkPad E14 (which is still out of stock )
I just bought a T14s gen 2 with a Ryzen 5 and am so excited to get it I'm just watching videos on it all night!
Fantastic to hear it lasted the whole night watching videos. Should run pretty quiet too.
how is it? im planning on buying the t14s gen2 ryzen 5 too for a levels studies

I bought the t14s. What was your choice?
lovely work mate, good comparison! The ryzen T14 is one of my favourite laptops

Thank you so much you saved my ass :D

Would be great if you could put the P14s in a head to head comparison with these 2 as well.
the p14s is the same as the t14...
Nice and clean comparison! Goog Job and all the best :-)
Thanks very much @imtiazchoudhury8832
Great video man!
I wasn't sure, but now I'm glad I got the T14 (instead of the t14s) after watching your video. Thanks ;)
good choice
Considering the same right now. Will go for T14.
liked before I finished watching the video, thanks man you are a godsend.
you should use more light in the studio. thanks
How did you get the lights behind you to look like that? Really cool!
I've got some LED lights snaking on the backside of the shelf :)
Great video, wish you would have commented on the displays though
Wow, a great review
wasn't the "s" supposed to be more coffee spill resistant?
Please, does the thinkpad T14 support the stylus or not, and is there an external stylus compatible with it or not?

@@UCC4-ZaL0W1R-8MQjKQOujhg is material for T14 is the same as for T14s? (magnesium and etc). Thx!

Got the T14 Ryzen 4750U. Runs very cool.
incredible video. thanks!
The T14s is an onboard single ram, but
Does this product operate in a dual channel manner?
I would choose this product if it is a dual channel RAM
The T14 can use dual channel memory if you plug in an additional stick yourself (which will about double your iGPU performance, although you will then run into thermal issues).
I have a T480s which is great. But I’d take the T14. Light enough.
T480s were robust laptops and I liked the old mechanical docks with them, drop and lock.
So Bsian Tech, which out of these 2 would u choose....
Which thinkpad overall is ur favourite now ?
Great comparison! I remember seeing a dual fan Thinkpad but can't remember which one it was. Was it the intel version of T14?
no version of the T14 or T14s has 2 fans are you thinking of the new x1 carbon gen 9?
X1 Extreme :)
What a great video you make! But which one do you like first?
Hey man Acer just launched Aspire 7 with Ryzen 5 5500U + GTX 1650 so I'm curious it's apu + gpu combination which is weird and at same time its latest 5000 series at $750 so what do you think ? Earlier i was waiting for ThinkPad E14 (which is still out of stock )
Gen 2 will be available this month
Pls review P14S
Hi Arul dilip, I have reviewed the Lenovo P14s previously which you can find here: ruclips.net/video/JATmhPXimOM/видео.html
It’s same as T14
Man, can you please not skip on the most important part... battery powered operations how much it can go...
Is there any performance difference?
Good work :)
good video
