No, they still Are not built on the W210 platform....
It was developed prior to the DC merger...
However after the merger Chrysler did raid the Daimler parts bin for front and rear suspension, steering and electrical parts...
Many parts were reworked for cheaper manufacture.
Yiu are absolutely correct, not exactly a W210 but a homage of sorts 😁
It's just the same design charger with the same engine nothing special about it just a sale gimmick for the common consumer. They never gave the viper this treatment.

This charger redeye is fast as new porsche 992 turbo in about half price
Their bottoms lines are going to reflect on how what a dumb decision to stop making V8 engines . The writing was on the wall when the SRT division was dismantled. Of it wasn’t for the coronavirus virus it would have happened a earlier . It is a sad day for the brotherhood of muscle . Why would you get rid of something that was so profitable?
So I was going through the website & according to the specs on the 23s the highest HP on all the hellcats is the Super Stock challenger at 807, every other are at RE 797, HC 717🤔 not including the special edition hellcats , Black ghost, King Daytona those I've seen videos with the Uconnect showing 807hp.
Their website is a complete mess. Whoever is running the show there is sniffing compressed air cans like Towlee.
All redeyes are 797HP and if you add the Jailbreak on top of the Redeye it pushes the HP to 807.
Super stock 840 hp like the demon

@@LimitedEditionMotorcars The Super Stock is 807, and the Demon is 808 hp (840 hp with High-octane fuel) The superstock is Literally a Demon without the Race Fuel Eco tune & Trans brake. dodge doesn't sell the demon parts to people w/o a Demon vin cause of how easy it would be to add those parts to a Superstock, and then they would be breaking their promise to the Demon owners.
This is literally the only jailbreak with the (Daytona Like) Hemi Option on the hood and tail
I keep saying that you could have customized a jailbreak to be 1 of 1 instead of all these "special" editions.

I just made one Hemi decal Plum crazy color peanut butter seats a blue calipers 😂 with the matching peanut butter seat belts and floor mats and a leather steering wheel
@Duhrell I agree. I had an Indigo Blue challenger jailbreak with gray Stripes, peanut butter interior, brass money wheels, and blue Calipers. It was 1 of 1.
Wow!!! Nice car!!! So sad to hear that Dodge is going electric, and they will regret it. Did anyone tell them we don’t generate enough power to charge all these cars?? Oh well….. I don’t even want to know what you had to do to get one, specialty cars that dealers are only getting one each of are going for msrp plus 15k to 20k!!!

Joe, my buddy, I had to fight tooth and nail to get this thing. It was so much brain damage that I probably lost 10 years of my life trying to get this thing.
I agree that Dodge will definitely regret this decision. I will not be surprised of gasoline stuff returns in a few years when sales of electric crap are down.

No V8s but there will be Incline V6s with turbo chargers. These cars will actually have more HP to their v8 counter parts both scats and cats.

Thank you. I am honestly scared of the future of the Automotive industry. I feel the electric stuff is just a novelty. It's cool for the first 10 minutes and then immediately after all these electric cars feel like a toaster.

Actually Ford is the reason why...people like to forget about the 2013 and the 2014 GT500... Them cars came stock with 662 horsepower

Government/ EPA restrictions is the reason for cancelation of the Hemi powered cars. Simple as that.
I thought they were paying fines to the EPA no matter what just to have this lineup of cars as they didn't meet the regulations.
