    Mernards certainly fills a niche in the train hobby. Affordability for people on a budget and items like this when one wants to add many items. These intermodal models look great.

    Good to see you back Ben. I agree...you would never notice the difference. Save your money for more preferred detailed pieces you would like on your layout. 👍

    Thanks foe show casing Menards products, I did a video before Christmas showing menards trains, I too think it is great to have more affordable O scale for the beginner or a dad trying to interact with his child and dosnt have to break the bank doing it. Or just someone curious about the scale. I got a lot of feed back on how cheap it was, they totally missed the point..

    Great video Ben! I agree to buy what you like. I didn’t realize the Menards containers would fit. I normally only get buildings from Menards.

    I am total agreement with you. I love the modern stuff. I do have a few steam locomotives, but my philosophy is I will only try and buy steam that is running today. There is always an exception to my rule, but I try and follow it as much as possible.

    You are hilarious, not having to sell your house or get a divorce to get into this expensive hobby and you are right that it is an expensive hobby, but you can do it all year round, not like fishing or hunting or snowmobiling or boating. You have a good point about gluing in the pins asap when you open the box. Menards has some great train stuff and you have some good tips. I have bought a lot of train stuff from Menards and buildings too. Great educational video. As far as weathering, just go to a train show or if you have a piece of rolling stock that is not worthy on the track, just take and practice weathering on that and get your paint figured out.

    I am disgusted by the fact that all the toy trains are made in China by people who make $2 an hour and they charge sky-high prices for them. Weaver used to make cars in America and they were cheaper than stuff made in China what's up with that?

    • @Pkilznah
      @Pkilznah Год назад +1

      You try making them yourself and let’s see what it cost and if you could get your money back let alone make a profit. SMDH

      @@Pkilznah Weaver made American-made O gauge trains in Pennsylvania until he retired. He made great stuff and I wish somebody took over after he retired. The Weaver cars we're cheaper than those of Mike's train house or Lionel.
