Big shutout to the this channel and the guy talking behind the screen. Very smooth, calm and pleasant speech without bs. Really nice to listen. I have watched this video couple of times - very relaxing. And!!! Very informative i would say…for people that doesn’t even know that some features do really exist, like front air ride or diff lock. I ordered my custom build truck in may… unfortunately had no idea about the diff lock 😢 but i did order the front air ride and bendix disk brakes and bendix tpms 🥰
Can’t believe that Freightliner or any other trucks get dorm room fridges in the trucks. That’s the ones that have fridge and separate freezer. I cook in truck so when I did have a truck with that combo, I was in heaven.
I just bought Freightliner Cascadia two days ago. I had driven Volvo and Cascadia most of the time. To beat Volvo Freightliner team has to be reborn and go to school again. There is nothing innovative in my Cascadia. eg my 2016 Volvo had keyless entry but 2021 Cascadia doesn't. DT 12 transmission is not even close to I-shift. Now 2024 Volvo come with folding bed you will see Freightliner will copy that. And Freightliner drives like a truck Volvo drives like a car. Proud honest owner of Cascadia thanks
Congratulations on your truck! I do not disagree with you , when it comes to a choice between Volvo and Freightliner a lot of drivers will go with Volvo for its comfort , however as a business owner you look at things differently. Being in business for many years and having experience of operating Volvos, Kenworths, Peterbuilts and Freightliners our choice of a truck is Freightliner for sure. Price, Reliability, Service and Fuel Efficiency are the key factors for us. Most common trucks on highways are freightliners and there is a reason why big fleet owners choose Freightliner. Pretty much every shop will be able to work on those trucks, the parts are more affordable and easier to find them vs other trucks especially Volvo. Now, when it comes to innovation I truly think that Freightliner did an amazing job on their new Cascadias, and lets not forget that every truck is built different based on the customers needs and you can really load those trucks up with numbers of options. One thing I will give Volvo vs other trucks that don't have when it comes to comfort is the way you unlock the Hood, which also can be debated by many drivers for its pros and cons. I truluy appreciate your feedback Thank you
You say Freightliner will copy new Volvo folding bed??? the 2018 Freightliner already has 😂😂😂 also Volvo copy a gear shifter from Freightliner. Now even engine is copy dd15 using common rail😂😂😂 look how many Volvo Walmart has. You know why 40% Freightliner on road?😂😂😂😂
Freightliner has had the Murphy bed way before Volvo , Volvo is great but could learn to give a better fridge area it very uncustomizable where freightliner can be customized to your needs easier , I do agree with the transmission issue I totally agree the I shift is way better.
Its the market… they all copy some things from each other at some point. Did you notice the new volvo AT switch under the steering wheel?😆 New 2024 vnl is gorgeous….but any way i would choose the cascadia even if its “outdated” and their new generation will come not earlier than in 2-3 years. I shift is superb…. I drove it for one year. But for me - cascadia is much more long lasting and robust, fuel efficient and has less issues and maintenance cost in long time perspective🫶 time is money
@HGHLOGISTIC nodoubt...I myself have a 2007 peterbilt 387 an it's getting hard to keep an older truck up to par I must admit but I'm still not comfortable with the after treatment systems on newer models an all the problems that comes with managing them.
with newer Freightliner's in particular the Aftertreatment problems are thing of a past until 800k miles, we had nightmares with our units that were below 2015 , every single one of them was always having DEF issues , 2015 and up its much different , and brand new trucks now days you can get with ew4 warranty that will cover you for a long time, on this beige truck we have 6 years 600k ew4 warranty
Dd13 is not for “long” term robust usage if we talk about OTR hauling. Yeah you can get 455hp out of it. But you need to understand that smaller internal displacement means they need to “blow more by turbo” to make it 455hp. All car industry is going this shitty way nowadays to make it more “green”. Practical proof - ask Maverick flatbed company with their dark brown color trucks why they sell all of them after 300k… well just because dd13😁
our drivers are home on the weekends so they really don't need a big fridge, but in past we had trucks ordered without fridge and had placed a regular size fridge in the truck from home depot
to be honest with you no, I have 6 years 600k EW warranty plus free towing, and having the optimized IDLE should do it , no need to waste money at this point , we plan to keep the truck for 4 years

really nice rig
I have a 2025 Freightliner cascadia
Love how the frame is the same color
You did a right thing by not having the collision sensors and the side collision

Beautiful!! Simply beautiful!!!
Thank you so much!

Volvo and freight liners are junk Both in the shop more than on the road
Would you be willing to share your "Build spec"?
My Wife and I plan to have one built.
And why a longer wheel base the further you’re away from the trailer the more fuel you burn
Air ride is good but if you ask an alignment dealer they will tell you it sucks
You bought a nice truck keep it well
That's the plan!
That is a beautiful stock switch right truck.
that's probably the best cascadia ive ever seen, i really like the color and the matching frame.. how long did it take to get in?
about a year, but its much faster now days 6-8 months
Doesnt a long wheel base with “that huge gap” create drag? Bad fuel economy?
It does reduce MPG slitty but we do need the long frame on some of the projects we do with Power Only loads
@@HGHLOGISTIC what wheelbase is that?
When your equipment looks that good u just kick back an relax when getting pulled over by DOT..
That is true ! and we all need good inspections now days

You should have gotten DD13 in it, the power rating is actually higher than DD15. That’s the only thing I’d do differently.

I like these new cascadias, but that lane position system with the cruise control drives me nuts
that's why we ordered it without that option and saved quite a bit money
They need to add big fridge like Volvo and microwave, with that they have 100%
our drivers are home on the weekends so they really don't need a big fridge, but in past we had trucks ordered without fridge and had placed a regular size fridge in the truck from home depot
Looks great.
Amazing color
Thank you! Cheers!
Clean!
Do these have the dinette table option?
Красавчик👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Pukie brown interior nice😅
I aint gone lie, that 2023-24 Cascadia the best Cascadia.I like that new DD15.
I am with you on that !
This is dope
What kind of transmission is it automatic or manual, you didnt show that.
Its an automatic DT 12 transmission
This is cool
Good luck with it.
thank you!
Nice
Do you plan on getting an APU?
to be honest with you no, I have 6 years 600k EW warranty plus free towing, and having the optimized IDLE should do it , no need to waste money at this point , we plan to keep the truck for 4 years
What’s the WB length??
279
Nice.
Good luck and accident free voyages
thank you !
Auto unhook fifth plate but you still gotta get out and roll landing gear down lmfao
true, but you won't be getting dirty underneath the trailer trying to pull the king pin release
The suspension is hard you back going to be broke
:) no pain no gain
What is the wheelbase?
279
APU??
no apu
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Sax auto come on man 13
There’s nothing different bout the truck at all
Something I said 😂😂😂
👌👌👌👌🇦🇺🇦🇺
Looks slow to me
505 hp , kind of slow
@@HGHLOGISTIC dd15 max at 93 mph 505 hp 1750 tq nah
Smoking will ruin a truck, bad juju...
Freightliner junk as usual .. on a positive note the outer shell looks decent
what is your choice of a truck ?
