Can you adjust the camber at the bottom of the strut ? I just kind of want to take the wheels in but is the only way to achieve that is by camber plate?

Installed and it was extremely high and positive. Than, 2nd, I measure the excesses (about 8cm) and took this out and, installed again. This time was to low and weird thing, the sway bar didn't connected. It was to far for engage. I don't know what I am doing.

    • @subielicious6892

      Jakobi Baker You can't have camber bolts on the back. On the 2015 and up WRX the rear tires are on adjustable for camber (without added parts). I'm actually in factory spec for the rears when I'm at ride height, but when I drop it to the ground the tears go way negative. I didn't do anything to make the rears that aggressive. I hope than answers your question!

    • @zachbellow5178
      @zachbellow5178 6 лет назад +1

      Maybe you already had your question answered, but those with the 86/BRZ/FRS need to bang out that wall if you adjust a lot of camber from your camber plates to make room. Either do that or adjust by aftermarket camber bolts + minimal camber plate adjustment or slotting top hole of strut (possibly even front lower control arm too if you need it to get camber gang specs). Also, shave out the metal bolt and any clips in that wall to avoid any bags popping in the fronts only. For you WRX/STI guys, you would most likely be fine but look out for that metal bolt clearance too and check your wheel clearance.

    Hey bro. I just installed some coilovers on my car. The front came with camber adjustable and the rear didn't. I tried my best to adjust the front as good as I can, which is a PITA to get it correctly. But for the rear, it has negative camber. How did you fix that on yours or did you leave like that in the back? Also, I keep hearing that it's not worth it to get an alignment since you can do it yourself with that camber adjustment. What did you ended up doing? Please let me know.

    • @subielicious6892
      @subielicious6892  7 лет назад +2

      Subaru WRX The rear is non adjustable on these cars, if you want to adjust it you have to buy a camber kit for the rear. And you need an alignment, you can adjust camer with camber plates but can't account for your toe, and how strait the car drives. Wait 500-1000 miles for the coils to break in and get an alignment, it's only like $50 and it can end up saving you from eating through your tires

    • @subaruwrx8790
      @subaruwrx8790 7 лет назад
