Thank you so much for this video. I wish i could send it out to every single health professional that prescribes antidepressant medications. I attempted to get off Cymbalta after 15 years of taking it for post natal depression. I should have only been on it for a year but each time i tried to taper, i would start feeling horrible withdrawals. 15 years later, i attempted a second times armed with more knowledge from the antidepressant withdrawal community. After a year of tapering, I was down to my last 30 beads and experienced the most horrific panic attacks. They were back to back and did not stop. I put myself in the hospital where i was told that the panic attacks were not from cymbalta withdrawal but from the state of mind i was before taking the medication so i should be on it for the rest of my life. I tried to explain that i did not experience panic before. Just post natal depression. They completely dismissed me and i decided it was futile to attempt to bring it up again and try to change their minds. My mind was blown as to the lack of education from doctors regarding this. At some point I will try to taper once again but at an even slower pace.

Psychotropics (as a side effect, and then withdrawal) caused ME/CFS and POTS, akathisia, destruction of sleep architecture. I now have over 10 chronic illnesses, most of which slowly dissipated as I got off meds. I had to do a very slow taper and taper one med at a time. The pain, the fatigue, the loss of work and a normal life was all the drugs. Psychopharmacology is an evil industry.
Antidepressants (and all psychotropocs) effect neurotransmitters that directly effect muscle function and nerves all over the body. Flu-like symptoms, joint issues, muscle contractions, nerve ending pain, gastric pain (as side effects and as withdrawal synptoms) is an obvious consequence that often gets misdiagnosed.

Why did I get arthrosis after quitting antidepressants? :(
I'm not sure on that one. My first thought was that the antidepressants could have been somehow masking underlying pain?
@@drmorgannolte before taking them I did not have any pain there :(
Antidepressants deplete nutrients to the body. Yes, they give you all kinds of horrific things.
