Fyi why didn’t they let us woohoo in the phone booth, or call a sim? I think that’s a missed opportunity.

I wish we could get retaining walls like we see at 23:30. Also, as a real-life gardener I wish we could get raised garden beds.
Great world, but since it’s so huge, they should’ve given us a few more maybe public garden lots, or a children’s playground, or a few secret spots to explore, but all in all it’s a beautiful world.
If so huge why not more places to build homes
I can hardly wait to see this combined with the Seasons pack!
A lot of missed opportunities here, yet again.
Such a big waste of land that could have so many interactions but now you can't do anything but just walk there? The town center is also very small so they could have EASILY made this an open world part without having to load yourself into the pub! So many shell houses in the town center, they should have made these buildable lots. The window shopping is lame given that we can build retail with Get to Work, what exactly has stopped EA from building some actual shops with their own software that already exists? Mind boggling how they drop the ball so often. The town homes are so close to the shops and market square, that should have been one open area! Arnie has shown us that is is possible and that is just one person. Imagine what EA's team could have done with all that money they make... They claimed horses are not possible and difficult to mod but Arnie gave us horses, sheep, pigs and more for £5!
In real life you would find a sheep sooner in such a town than a llama to be fair so the llama makes no sense to me. Once again, a lot of half ass work from the ever disappointing Sims team.
A pack with just 10 worlds would also be highly appreciated to have some variety in worlds. Or just give us back the tool to create a world.

EA-When are we going to start getting brand-new venues? I've gotten so bored with seeing bars plunked into every new world you guys make. When are we going to start having things like tennis courts,video game arcades,amusement parks(no theme,please),etc?
Also,when will be getting Create-a-World and multi-purpose lots(like in Sims 1)?

Bruh great review . Ea and maxis needs to fix the townies so tired of the goths and fengs and landgrabbs always in every neighborhood my sims go to .
Looks amazing and cant wait to build there on these lots and use these amazing new items.
I'm eager to explore even more in the new world. I suspect it will quickly become a favourite! Beautifully created, so little needs to be done to change anything. My sincere thanks to EA and the creators of the lots. A marvellous creation!

I already know step one when I open up this pack. Add pets! It seems so strange to have a community of pet lovers with no cats or dogs. lol
I agree! But I think the reason why they didn’t add pets into these households is that not everyone who has the cottage living pack has the pets expansion pack. I really can’t wait to give these sims some pets though 😄

I'm SUPER curious if dogs will possibly defend against the foxes and protect the chickens and rabbits
@@skort94 me too! i have a family of "farmers" with two border collies, maybe they could actually do things! if not, im sure a mod will come out in the next few months
With other packs the big neighborhood will be nice. Like going for a walk with your dog or riding around on a bike will be fun.
The Sims 4 team makes very little lots in so many of the recent worlds just to make us buy more expansion packs for its worlds for more lots. It's always about the money with them.
The ruins area would be so cute to do a intimate wedding
I feel like they could have made the phone booth interactive by making it able to travel or invite a sim to hang out where your sim is but that’s just my opinion 😂

why are henford on bagley's bills so damn high???? mine just went from 6,000 to 12,000 in a single week. i haven't built or bought anything new!!!
I really hope they add goats to Cottage Living in the future, they could headbutt things! And people! They could do other things too obviously it's just headbutting would be my favourite 🤣

In another pack. It would have been stupid to add them to this pack because they would have been objects/tied to their sheds like cows and llamas. I prefer them to have their own game or expansion pack with the ability to make them in CAP like Cats and Dogs.

Catch Fish Lake In Old New Henford: I've been googling for over half an hour trying to find this lake. The only information I found was that it's on the "watson property", which doesn't exist in my version, because all the names have been Japanised. I don't understand why a game played by millions has such bad walkthroughs.

Use the cheat: cas.fulleditmode before going into CAS and then you can change everything that is usually locked.

I think it will because it snows a lot in the north of England, heavy rain as well. So if they made it realistic, it should have snowstorms.

3 homes from Thomas TV and 7 from Harrie.
Harrie did that huge 64x64 lot I believe. Its pretty fantastic
I hope everyone can agree on the builds is looking good.
But from a simulation perspective, they are broken. All those 1 tile travel areas just doesn't work as sims can't pass each other, without weird circling and slowing down. Even a single sim can get massively slowed down trying to navigate builds like this.
I know people cry over the older "empty" houses, but they were EMPTY because it WORKS when the sim walk around in them. The lots is way too small to have a house that works with the simulation and room for the main feature "farming", especially since sims can't travel up and down stairs without losing hours of sim days.
Agree 100 percent rather have a house by EA then a house you can't use.

There are barely any lots. This is a game pack level world, not expansion pack tier world. So utterly empty and it makes no sense for lots where you need space for gardening to be that small.
Lots are so small for the bigness of the world it shouldn't have all the useless stuff you can't really use. But unfortunately I pre-order it and still wanted to get it for decades challenge
Sims mobile is the game to play forget a bout the pc and consoles don't waste more money
