Well here we are... I can finally unveil the 2 builds I built for The Sims 4: Cottage Living expansion pack!! I do an overview of my builds and go over all the changes and development of them. I hope you like them. Miss you all, see you all back on the channel on Monday!

Yeah, like Windenburg for example is supposed to be inspired by European/German towns, and it does remind me of that (being from Germany), but you can clearly tell that it was made by Americans :D

Lovely builds darling! That 64x64 is stunning. I saw the terrain paint and knew right away it was a Devon Bumpkin build! So happy the Sims gave you this opportunity; you deserve it!

I’m sooooo happy you included a kitchen in the pub! It is so frustrating when I want to have my sims have a wedding in a bar and have to go into build mode and make a kitchen that doesn’t always go with the building. I hate having to choose that function at the expense of esthetic. So that is amazing! I love your pub ☺️

Months ago the Sims put out a survey and one of the questions was asking about you tubers/simmers/ influencers that we would like to see them work with and I remember putting your name down twice. I’m so glad that first pack that you get to put your own special touch on is the Cottage Living pack. I remember you saying that one of your goals with your builds is to put more English inspired builds into the Sims and I love that you get to do so with a pack that’s inspired by an English city. I can’t wait to get this pack to experience your builds in person!!!!!!!
I'm a year late with this (I hadn't discovered your channel yet back then), but I just wanted to say thank you for this! It's one thing for me to find these things in the game and think "oh, that's pretty", but quite another to understand the cultural context and the love and care that went into it all.

I grew up as a pub kid so I was always in pubs with my dad and his mates with the sticky tables and the red ugly carpet. The pub just brings back so many memories. The builds are really good I would never be able to build like that.
Yesterday, I was watching one of your videos where you talked about how chimneys on pre-made sim houses don't align with the fireplaces. I then bought and played this expansion pack and reacted to that they appear to have learned their lesson since they were aligned in the pub :D Little did I know...

I must say, when I first saw this pub I KNEW the sims team did NOT build this! I’m so glad that it was you because I thought this was absolutely stunning and I had a feeling that it was you! ❤️
I can't describe my feelings rn only clear thing is I'm emotional. I've fallen love with those lots.... Those builds are so far the best builds in official sims franchise games with no doubt. The 64 by 64 lot farm house is a complete dream come true in sims even for me as a relatively new simmer. Aden you did such a glorious job I cannot appreciate this enough! You work through so well with all the restrictions. I'm sooooo so so delightful to see your participation in this EP. I also cannot wait to see others adoring the pub and the farm house you built. Again big big congratulations Aden. Enjoy the vacation too and have loads of fun, you eventually will see these hot lovely comments when you are back 😂

Love, love, love your Cottage Living builds! It's wonderful that the Sims developers are continuing their brilliant trend to use content creators like yourself to add fun and polish to the new packs. Congratulations to you for being chosen! Who better to build a proper English village pub and country estate than someone who lives there? I can hardly wait to play in this beautiful world. I hope my Sim whippets won't behave toward the bunnies in game the way my real-life whippets do! (Oh, the carnage!) Congrats, again; very well done!!!

I grew up in the Cotswolds, in a small town called Wotton-under-edge. It's so cool to see the sims create a world based on the Cotswolds. Everyone did such an amazing job with all the builds too!!
OMG! I purposely did not purchase any game packs, nor played Sims4 all summer. I'm literally downloading everything, right now, because of you my dear. Can't wait to visit the pub! I'm so excited! Your builds are absolutely fabulous! Thank u so much, and by the way, I always saw you building for EA/Sims. I was wondering when they'd recognize the talent. The fact that this is an English style pack, I just adore it. Can't wait to play!
I have to share this with you! I found a show on Amazon Prime called “Hidden Villages” (of England), hosted by actress Penelope Keith, and I’m watching it in preparation for the expansion pack. The more I watch the more excited I become … but now I’m antsy and can’t wait to “get my build on” … lol.
I know I commented already but I’ll say it again, it’s so awesome knowing that you built 2 of our lots in the game!! I can’t wait to have my Sims go to your Pub. Dying at the 'Spoons shade, so true! Also my ex used to live in a converted corn mill in Chardstock (Devon boy like your good self!) and your farmhouse has such similar vibes to their old house. Really long back range, flagstone downstairs, grandfather clock in the hallway, stairs up the middle etc! Love both builds but the farmhouse is superb.
I didn't even think about the fact that you had to place everything on the grid! Was it making you nuts? It's so beautiful! You killed it.

Aden has a very unique terrain painting style I’ve noticed, so much so that I saw simsies video first and I knew he’d made the Waltons by the garden layout and terrain paint style, like his signature, very here for it and pleased for our bumpkin for getting to work on such a fitting pack, 10/10 darling

I'm incredibly happy the sims team is continuing letting simmers make the builds for new packs, they are SO much more intricate and well-rounded than the builds in earlier packs! And choosing you for this specific pack was a match made in heaven 😍 I cannot wait for this pack to come out and to see everyone play around in your builds! This pack feels so well done, with a lot of new items and gameplay (compared to earlier expansion packs as well, I feel like), the sims really delivered with this one. I know it’s based on the Cotswolds but it really reminds me of Bakewell and the Chatsworth House estate villages, near to where I live. It’s so stunning, I can’t wait to be able to play with this pack. All of you British Simmers/builders have done us proud ❤️🌻😍🤩🇬🇧

I've been watching Semaj play it and now that I've seen your AMAZING builds I can't wait to play it. I've been so bored with Sims lately all the packs and kits have me bored so I'm excited for some new game play and the nights have life in them, fireflies etc
I grew up on a farm in Italy and I am so excited for this pack because a lot of the build and buy items can also be found on italian farms! I have never been more excited to pay 40 euros in my life

I'm so glad you got to build the pub! I've watched so many of your old builds where you do exactly this but making do with other objects...with this pack at hand it's just dialed the Britishness up to maximum!
I love these. I am primarily a builder but it's nice to have lots that don't need renovating or replacing. I could geek about the pub so much but I'll just say that it's perfect. And I'm in love with the flagstone in the farmhouse. I've never seen it look so good. You did an amazing job on these.

The hallways, the landings, the landscaping... Gorgeous! The thoughtfulness of including a kitchen in an establishment that serves food and the way the grass is receding to dirt in the Llama's quarters are what sold it to me.
You and your builds are amazing. I especially love the Watson Farmhouse. Of course, you would get asked to participating builds for Cottage Living--I can think of no simmer more suitable than you: the color palette, the whimsical charm, the detail. Congratulations (but you totally deserved this opo!)
I've also been playing the Sims since the beginning and I remember when this pack came out thinking the build quality of the lots was on another level compared to previous packs (Realm of Magic lol), and just recently discovered your channel and am shocked and delighted to learn you built two of my favorite lots!! Belated congratulations, you did an amazing job!
your comment about the pub toilets practically being in the underworld made me laugh so much. its so true, my dad and i go to a pub every now and again and if you need the toilet you've got to go down a creaky staircase, down a dark hallway and then through a trophy room lol!!

Beautiful!! I can't wait to make a family to live in that farmhouse, have one parent off in the garden or tending to the animals, while other parent reads on the little bench watching over the children playing in the yard, and the teen has friends over for a picnic.
9:45 I know this video is mad old but I just started following your channel. Let me tell you, that kitchen came in CLUTCH many a times when I was doing favors for sims around the town or doing a RtR and didn’t have money to buy food but had all the ingredients. That was genius!!

Congrats, I'm so glad you were chosen to build for this pack! Interesting seeing the reason behind the kitchen in the pub since that's not usually done in The Sims. I'd worry sims would keep cooking their own meals instead of ordering from the bar basically defeating the purpose of it, but I don't think that happened to me when I was playing? Good the realistic touch turned out well lol
I have seen game play with your lovely pub that you made. It is fabulous! However, I have to save that I so much adore the large farmhouse. I love the Cotswolds, I live in Bristol and will always head east for hiking or biking. This pack is definitely one for me. I wanted a way to make it impossible to cook meals without having the ingredients/groceries and I know there's a lot trait in this pack for exactly that!
Beautiful build! I love the 2 dining chairs against the wall in the dining room. So realistic! That takes me back to being in my grandparents house growing up. Always extra chairs nearby.
I didn't know you were working on this secret project, but the second I saw the builds in the trailer my first thought was "Aden surely built for this pack, I have no doubt", but I could've swear the one with the modern extension was yours, still can't believe you didn't built it 😂 many congratulations, Aden, you deserve it and I'm so happy to see your talent is being recognised!
