    Thanks for the video. I finished doing it on my 2013 F3 675. Couple of things that re slightly different from your 800, there are six bolts underneath. two right close to the engine at the front end of the bottom cover. I also used my mallet to suspend the tank as in the 675, the lift is much limited from yours. But I suspended it on the mallet resting on the swing arm and the side of the fairing so it had some push towards the frame to ensure it did not wobble off. I also noticed the two bolts at the front of my fuel tank was real short, so I suspect someone replaced it on your bike. I want to say you did a great video and gave me confidence to do it myself. Thanks and good luck. Keep on doing it..

    Makes me really thankful that my MV F3 came with a battery charger cable pre-connected (no wonder having seen how difficult it is to access it!). When mine needs a battery replacement I'll get my dealer to do it, I just wouldn't have the patience to do all that work! 👍

    I heard that you have to charge the battery if you don't ride your bike for 3 days or more. Is that true? Please explain us.
    Thank you

    • @ESBKLife
      @ESBKLife  4 года назад

      Yes this is true for some MVs but not all. For example; my street F4 has a parasitic drain that I have to keep it on a trickle charger. My track F4 and my brother's F4 don't have this same problem. There's no rhyme or reason for this that I've been able to find.

      Good upload man cheers, I'm fitting heated grips and needed access to the terminals, I could only lift the arse end of the tank around 8 inches before I stretched what looks like the fuel and breather lines, I couldn't get the tank as high as yours so would struggle to lift the battery out if I had too..

      That won't be a problem for the Scorpion battery. When I was riding dirt, my KTM 350sxf would sit for weeks without charge. Bike always started right up. @MDsports10 5 месяцев назад

    I'm really hoping you get back to me but did you change the regulator/rectifier on the bike along with the battery change from lead to lithium iron phosphate? They require different charges - 14.1v max on lipo whereas 14.9 for Pb. That is a big difference and if you are overcharging your Lipo, you could damage and cause a fire. Let me know!

    • @ESBKLife
      @ESBKLife  5 месяцев назад

      @@MDsports10 Hey MD. This video was posted a long while ago. I don’t have that bike any longer. However, I did not replace the regular/rectifier. The Stinger lithium bat used here charges at a max of 15v. So the stock regulator/rectifier is fine. But very good point for others to be aware of.

    *Question; If u DONT have a steering damper do you still need to remove triple clamp? Or is it only when u mounted a Steering Damper like u shown us.
    And are you going to show us some oil changing and other basic maintenance videos on this bike? Since there pretty much arent any videos of that on youtube?
