    Thx! Owned many bikes. KTM has one of the most thorough owners manual with how it’s on everything including torques. Ducati and MV Agusta’s owner manual will show you how to check things but if adjustments needed, take it to the dealer. They are premium bikes and do not mind to pay but I am capable of performing some maintenance myself.

      Glad you liked it. So easy it's not worth taking to a dealer/garage.

    Always worth taking the eccentric hub through its complete range of movement and spraying WD40 liberally to ensure hub does not seize

    • @rickmartins9135
      @rickmartins9135  2 года назад

      Are the hubs known to seize? I'm always concerned that oiling can hold dirt and cause wear.

    • @MrDigitalStorm

      Not worth spraying with WD40. If you're going to maintain the hub you need to take off the wheel and the sprocket completely to get at the bearings inside which you can then apply axle grease to

    Hello there, just got my F3 and was wondering where I can get the original tension spanner? It did not come with the bike says my previous owner.

    • @rickmartins9135
      @rickmartins9135  4 года назад +1

      E Bay it's called a C spanner or hook spanner. I'm not certain but it could be 115mm. MV Part no. 800092854. Mine has 92854 stamped on it. Get the extension for the spanner too.

    Sorry, if my question is silly. Why does it say 28 ÷ 32 Nm on a label ? Does it mean I have to torque somewhere between 28 - 32 Nm? or 28Nm is for a left bolt and 32Nm is for a right bolt?
    In MV AGUSTA manuals I saw there are many bolts with ÷ mark for torque and I would like to figure out a way to do it. Thank you for your answer!

    • @rickmartins9135
      @rickmartins9135  4 года назад +1

      Exactly that... torque to between 28 and 32 Mm. I set my torque wrench to 30.

      By the way there's no such thing as a silly question. Always best to ask if you're not sure of anything.

    Is the measurements with or without the rider on the bike? I'm assuming without sitting on the bike?

    Hey i have a Dragster 800 rr with a loose chain. I dont currently have a rear stand. Can the chain be adjusted on the side stand?

    • @rickmartins9135
      @rickmartins9135  5 лет назад

      Not sure and not recommended - maybe someone with better knowledge can answer. Obviously better with the back wheel off the ground but don't see why you couldn't do it. I'm no expert !!

    • @_ayo_jp_
      @_ayo_jp_ 5 лет назад +1

      I tried to tighten the chain with the rear wheel on the ground couldn’t get the eccentric hub to move. So I used a jack to get the rear tire off the ground and I was able to tighten the chain after doing that.
